AKA....Foodapalooza!…read more This would have been a 5 star review had the guys from Grill 'Em All showed up on time. But they didn't, in fact, they showed up about an hour late and took another 45 minutes to prep. So this totally clogged up the Grilled Cheese truck. Luckily, the line at the Nom Nom truck was short enough and my GF was able to order a Pork Banh Mi. The banh mi was great. It was my GF's first time and she fell in love. She had this look in her eye, it was special. There was another burger truck, a cupcake truck and an ice cream truck also on the premises. But it seemed that everyone was here for the Grilled Cheese truck and Grill 'Em All. There was also a jazz band that played beautifully. I think if I wasn't in a hunger daze, I probably would have turned around to find out the name of the band. I'm sorry, I was here for Grill 'Em All. Once the Grill 'Em All truck finally opened, I was disappointed to find out that H-100's and Truffle Oil weren't available. I was so looking forward to the H-100's. So what did I do? I ordered a Behemoth (burger, bacon, and grilled peppers between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches) and a side of Pommes Frites. Watchu know about the Behemoth...

This is going to be every Tuesday night from 6 pm to 9 pm for the near future…read more Held in the parking lot of Charter Oak High School, as a benefit to help the COHS band. Different trucks every week. 1st week was Grill em' all, Grilled Cheese, Nom Nom, King Kone, and a couple other dessert ones. 2nd week was TapaBoyLA, Ta_Bom, MightyBoba, JoseOMalleys, & NaanStop. Shorter Lines, great variety, lots of grass to sit on, lots of fun Still hard to swallow the prices for these food trucks personally though.

My husband heard about this on TikTok or Facebook, so we decided to check it out. It is a Farmers…read moreMarket that is held every Friday from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. They block off the streets, and there's plenty of parking nearby. There are lots of food booths (mostly Mexican food) and several other booths selling a variety of items. Taquiza Sinaloense immediately caught my husband's eye, and he ordered a soft taco with chorizo and potato. It was delicious! I wanted to walk around the entire place before ordering more food from Taquiza Sinaloense. There was a really nice lady there who told us that their food is the best, and she said she knew we'd be back. She was right! Although other booths had appetizing food, it just didn't compare. Their presentation was beautiful! We each ordered a plate, which included rice, beans, and our choice of two items. The guy who helped us was so nice and let me sample a few items before I made my decision. My husband ordered chile verde and beef. I ordered chipotle chicken and this amazing mixture of chiles, corn, and cheese. OMG! It was incredibly delicious! Each plate was $14, which is a great price since we both had leftovers. We will definitely go back. I will try to order food from different vendors next time. If you decide to check this place out, make sure to try Taquiza Sinaloense! You won't be sorry!

This is a smaller market/festival that seems to cater a lot to the local neighborhood crowd, but it's active and there are a variety of street vendors, which mostly seems to sell various types of Mexican food, but I didn't see everything, so there might be foods from other countries as well. When we went, there wasn't any music, but maybe that starts later and we didn't really stay long since you can walk through the whole market pretty quickly. But if you live nearby and want something to do on a Friday night, this isn't a bad place to check out.

They have speedy hot dog, Hawaiian hot dogs, Asada and Chorizo hot dogs. They have also Hawaiian burgers, Al pastor burgers, Hamon, Chorizo, speedy and El Patrón burgers. The line in the event was very long at different times. Unfortunately, they ran out of many types of hot dogs , burgers , quesadillas by the time my turn came and I reached the food truck. But at least I was lucky to try their their delicious speedy hot dog, Jamon torta and regular burger. They were delicious specially their speedy hot dog. For sure I will stop by their food truck at La Puente to try more of their delicious menu

I usually order a burger, but since I had a heavy lunch, I thought I'd get some tacos this time. Tacos are not it. For $5 a taco, you are pretty much getting ripped off. On their menu, it clearly states guacamole is included. The taco is literally tortilla, asada, bell peppers and onions. I can make better tacos at home. I was expecting real, authentic style Mexican tacos. But no, I just wasted $25 for 5 skimpy tacos. I know we live in a messed up economy. But for small food trucks to cheat their customers, that some bull. I won't be returning.
