The staff was nice enough, there was a good amount of variety with games spanning all kinds of systems, and the games I purchased worked fine, but the store felt unorganized and despite the variety, the actual stock felt underwhelming especially when compared to stores like Games Ahoy in Loveland. Also I saw them selling an Xbox Series X for $100 over the recommended retail price of $500. It's a decent enough place if you live in the Brighton area but if you can make the extra drive I would recommend something like Games Ahoy over this.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has been in the area for decades and knows what he's talking about when it comes to games, and the weekend guy really know how to make a customer feel welcome and wanted. Of the two retro stores in Greeley, I'd definitely choose Game Factor over BNR.

Messy environment. Strange cardboard boxes with DVDs from all around the nation that have touched god knows how many hands. Store is a petri-dish for this pandemic! According to the AHCA President, "for the Elderly, COVID-19 Is an Almost Perfect Killing Machine." I am all for supporting a small business but not when the store is a dive. Rundown and unsanitary. All those boxes full of DVDs and tapes just laying around from god knows where. The workers can't possibly disinfect all those DVDs and video boxes! People and customers inside look depressed and unhealthy. Whoever is in charge seems to be treating this national emergency as a joke on their facebook, with threats of wiping his butt on the doorknobs and handrails when toilet paper runs out. He/she mockingly claims a little bit of Windex is enough to sanitize his store. What malarkey! According to the CDC, bleach isn't even enough to combat contagion unless proper measures for cleaning are in place, and this store has made it abundantly clear it has no desire to take seriously this threat posed to us seniors! Just a little bit of windex. What baloney. I included pictures on here from their own website with their said childish threats to spread contagion, and documented pictures of their messy store in my complaints. With the coronavirus spreading, and with this pandemic looking to get worse before it gets better, I would advise staying away from places like this when they cop such a disrespectful, reckless attitude to the community. That awful virus can survive on plastic for three days alone. People in my age group are at risk. In theory, the way a video rental store works, a DVD rental is passed from one home to another and requires touch to work, which would be the perfect way to spread this! My granddaughter brought this to my attention months ago. At first, I smiled at the nostalgia factor of a video store after my favorite blockbuster closed down years ago. But I've adjusted and found streaming and Amazon to be so much easier, and found no reason to support his rental habit. Personally you don't have to deal with scratchy discs that skip, or have to fuss setting up a player, which is why she lost interest. We have to evolve with the times. God and nature require us to evolve in difficult times. Sorry, but you can't get a virus from streaming. Streaming movies have taken over the market for a reason and video rental stores are antiquated and simply are not compatible with our way of life anymore. Why purchase the same movie here when you reduce trash in the landfill, avoid scratches on a disc that may not, save money $$$ and easily download it or buy it digitally from Amazon --- all from the safety of your own homes? Not worth taking a chance getting ill or dying just to live in the bygone past. This is how we defeat this thing. By being smart, candid and having empathy. I will change my review to a more positive one when they grow up and offer a streaming service in sync with the times. In the meanwhile, be safe everyone and be smart and support businesses with integrity. For now, I will pass read more

My 7-year-old…read moregranddaughter and I stumbled upon Mystic Willow Boutique while exploring downtown Greeley, and it felt like stepping into Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. You enter from the back of the Nerd Store off 8th Street, go to the back and out to the alley, hook a right and look for the purple door -- then head up the big staircase. The whole experience is whimsical and enchanting. The shop is packed with beautiful crystals, rocks, incense, sage bundles, tarot cards, candles, magic books, and all kinds of mystical items. My granddaughter was absolutely fascinated and spent a long time exploring everything. She ultimately chose a tiny bottle of "Bloom" perfume, which has an incredibly powerful and lovely scent for its small size. Even though it was $30, it was worth every penny to see how happy it made her. What really stood out was the kindness of the owner. When my grandfather asked about a some pretty stones she fancied, he went in the back and came out with a beautiful similar stone and gave it to her as a gift. That small gesture made her day and left a lasting impression on both of us. If you're looking for a unique, magical shopping experience (especially with kids who love "witchy" or Harry Potter-type things), Mystic Willow is absolutely worth finding. Highly recommend!

Well, I finally had the chance to patronize it and I found it to be a surprisingly nice place. Similar to Cappel's and other costume/theatre places, Theatre House has a lot of stuff under one roof. the setup of the place is reminiscent to Service Merchandise and by that I mean that most everything is not visible to the general public, rather it is stored in the back warehouse. One can view their products online and bring in the id number and tada, you now have that costume or whatever. They do have a few catalogs that one can peruse and then tell a worker to retrieve for you. It's like having your own personal shopper, ha ha. They do have tons of hats and masks and some general costume items on display. I did find it a little off putting that the hats were like 10 feet above the ground and not really visible up close. Oh well. The worker that assisted me was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast at retrieving the items I needed. Prices are fair and there was even a discount section for bargain hunters. Parking is right out front and free. So, whether you are looking for a crazy, sexy, scary, weird costume, or just need some theatre makeup, this is a place to check out.
