I used to come here all the time and they were great. I even used to bring my mother here for manicures and I would get a pedicure at the same time. They used to be fully staffed and busy and quality of manicures and pedicures was really good. Now they only have 3-4 staff members. Today I came in for a pedicure and hadn't been here in a very long time (about a year). The tech that I got was a young American lady whom a I've never seen here. First, I had an appointment and had to wait over 20 minutes while my feet sat in cold water (and I'd already asked to have the water warmer and it was barely accomplished). I don't mind too much of a wait, but communicate with me and keep me comfortable while I wait! Then she starts on my toenails with a nail buffer after I relayed that I didn't need any nail trimming. The very first big toe she buffed she nicked at the bottom and it started to bleed! I should have stopped her right there and left, I've never had that happen before! Then she proceeds to berate me about the skin on my toes asking what I've cut them with and stating that "it looks like someone gnawed on them." I was shocked and really offended. Then when I told her I didn't need my toenails trimmed because I had already done this myself she said "oh, you already gave yourself a pedicure before you came?" While she did a decent job with the painting, she also buffed places on my feet that were very uncomfortable...such as on the tops of my feet! I do not have calluses up there! I also just had foot surgery...a bunion removed from from my right foot and I communicated this with her. She kept bending my toe down in an uncomfortable position while painting it. I've never had a nail tech talk to me like the way this lady did and I will not be returning here due such an overall bad experience. I will find a new nail salon that respects me and makes me feel comfortable. There are plenty of places here in Frederick! read more

I was BEYOND happy with my experience here last Friday. I came in with a friend to get our nails done. I got gel polish, no acrylics. I was pampered from beginning to end of service! The lady (I did not get her name, but she has the puppy chocolates at her station)- she gave so much attention to detail and even turned the heater on for me because she felt my hands were cold. Highly recommend her and the salon! I will be returning this Saturday to get a pedicure with my mom. So excited! read more

I've been to this nail salon a total of 2 times. I haven't gotten one since the pandemic and decided to go do some self-care after a stressful week at work. I had an appointment at 3 pm. I got there around 2:55 pm but I still had to wait for an hour before they even called me up. I asked for a french mani but the moment he started, I knew it looked bad. It was something that even I can do at home. My hand felt drier than when I first came in. I honestly wanted to leave right in the middle of it. Linh has been great and taking care of mom and dad, however when dad had a stoke and noticed they had not been by for some time. I have been coming to this nail salon for over 20 years since they 1st opened and I realised that they were so close to my home. The owners and all of the employees have become like a 2nd family to me! I am always treated with respect and they even recognize my voice on the phone whenever I call to make an appointment. I got sns nails done here, and they're lumpy and the color isn't smooth. The polish became discolored after a couple days. I requested coffin shaped which I didn't feel like I got. Really not happy and I had to go somewhere else for them to get fixed. read more

Don't go!!!! I scheduled an appointment at 2;15pm on 6/21/21for a pedicure and manicure. I arrived at 2:10pm. I got a vague hello but nobody actually came to greet me. At 2:30pm another customer came in with no appointment but the nail tech was very friendly to her, the daughter and grand daughter. At 2:40pm a gentleman came to ask me if I was ready and at 2:45pm the same gentleman told me that he didn't have enough time and that he had other clients. I have never been to a nail salon in Frederick since I moved here and wanted to establish a place I could consistently go, but I guess they don't want new customers or treating people like they don't exist is supported at this place. I don't get my nails done by someone else often, I usually do them myself (including acrylics and gels) and this is the only place in Frederick I trust with my nails! They're always so nice. the workers can be a little quiet but IMO it makes it more peaceful. They even pulled out the big foot grater for my friends severe callouses, which she's never had happen at any other salon in Frederick, and now her feet are super smooth! For reference, an acrylic set is 25$, a mani is 15$, a pedi is 30$, and a gel set is 40$. I think a mani/pedi combo is also 40$ but I could be wrong on that one. read more

I have not had any type of nail natural or gel in forever. Over the last few months I have been going from salon to salon because every time I get a full set done they literally pop off before two weeks is up (waste of money) I sat down with Vu and we had a long discussion about how to proceed and went with the dip nail technique while the are hella short which makes me a little sad they do look natural and clean and no tip to pop off while my nail is growing. I have been going to this nail salon for three years. I was always pleased. This past year I have been disappointed with appointments I made . The woman I booked with was not there and I was told I could wait till she came in but it would be at least 30 minutes. Today I had an appointment at 1000 with a different nail technician. I had made this appointment months ago. When I arrived she already had someone else at her station. I reminder her I had a 10 o'clock appointment. She said I should pick out my color and it would just be a short time until she would be with me. I asked for another technician. My Pedicure was well done however the technician I originally had the appointment with was still with the other client an hour later. I will not be returning to this salon. Poor service. I will never come to this nail salon again. Apparently Kim is the person to go to. I called to make an appointment prior to arriving to make sure that I could receive a fill and a pedicure. When I arrived I was greeted and seated for my pedicure. The nail technician that began my pedicure was a male (Kim's husband I think) and his work started out poor so I requested someone else to do my pedicure (I was hoping to get Kim since I read the previous Yelp reviews before I came). Unfortunately I didn't get Kim I got another lady named Lynn. Lynn started out good but she started getting an attitude when I corrected her work. She was clearly off when she was painting my French. I was suppose to get a pink & white fill but Lynn said it would take her an hour and a half and she told me I should go to Kim because Kim can do a better job. Kim was all booked for the day so I left. I should have known Kim was best because she had appointments back to back. Plus she sits in the front when you walk in and it's usually a good person in the front. All in all my pedicure was ok, could have been a lot better if I went to Kim. Bebe does a better job but they were booked so I had to try Gorgeous Nails. :-( read more

Do not waste your money! Owner is soooo rude and if you chip your nail they won't fix it even if you got it done the day before! Attached is a picture of my nail after it was chipped and he wouldn't fix it so he filed it down which left it so much shorter than the rest. Went back to get them fixed again and he was so rude I can't even believe it. Wayyyy better Salons in the area! Take a look at my schrek looking middle finger once they fixed it! First visit was great! Got a C&D pink and white powder manicure. Vu did very well and took his time. They feel light but are very strong as my nails are thin and bend easily. They look as pretty as I hoped for. Ann did my pedicure and it was nice. She did a good job getting rid of my dry skin, my feet are smooth and my toes look good. I wish that I could give this place a negative. I went there two weeks ago for a gel mani-pedi. The young technician actually yelled at me several times! The dryer was malfunctioning and instead of believing me, she kept moving it, and thereby, messing up the polish. When this happened, she blamed it on me. I spent almost two hours dealing with this torture. After one week, I had to touch them up on my own. Usually I can maintain gel polish for three weeks and that is because of nail growth and not chipping. read more
