I consider myself a semi connoisseur of OG good donuts and these are hitting all of the marks!! For these donuts to be so insanely fresh, soft, and delicate AT 11am should speak VOLUMES. Glaze to donut ratio was perfect, good flavors, some great shaping techniques as well as some fun Littles. They have the little milks and juices to accompany your treats which is a hallmark sign of the thoughtfulness of a good shop (think biscuits with no drink... you're gonna suffer without some good liquids for your donuts!!). The littlest wild baby creature even got to practice his manners upon receiving a fresh donut hole perfectly sized for his little bear paw. They close at noon to ensure no dry (stale) donuts are sold so be mindful of not being TOOO snuggly and missing their open window. This is now my new fave go to in Portland. What doesn't make sense is why she would fill boxes of 12, count them toward a dozen, and mix in those premium donuts among the regular ones if they weren't actually going to be charged as part of the dozen. It was misleading and confusing -- especially since the donuts were spread throughout four boxes of 12, not separated or labeled differently. If certain donuts don't qualify for the dozen discount, that should be stated clearly before loading them in as part of a dozen. Handling it this way feels unethical and shady. The donuts themselves are fine, but the experience left a bad taste. I won't be returning.
