Customer service is fabulous! Everybody who works here is super friendly. I like that they really do have such a wide variety when it comes to alternative milks, flavors, including sugar-free flavors. I do feel like with how low the overhead is here, and not having a space for customers to sit to enjoy their beverages, it's quite pricey. As someone who drinks alternative milks, it breaks my heart every time I have to spend $12 on an iced latte and I don't get to sit inside to enjoy it. That was actually embarrassing instance for me. I now husband was living in this area when we were dating, and I remember setting a business meeting to meet over coffee at this place because I had only heard good things about it, but I didn't realize it was just a truck. It was not well received when we both showed up on a hot July day in Oklahoma and early only option was to sit inside or cars or boil in the heat.

There were tempting options, and then the Griddle Sandwich was explained to me & that's all I needed to know. Ham, fried egg & cheese all in-between French Toast. It was so good that it didn't need syrup. I added syrup to the other half of my sandwich & it took it over the top. I really don't know which way I'd rather have it. Before I typed this out, I saw the the sandwich was a starter. Now I'll have to check them out again for the Chicken & French Toast (that comes with fruit). The individual who took my order was super nice & they brought my food out to me (I was DJing).

My brother and nieces each tried something different- the chicken and French toast, the strawberry cheesecake french toast and the peach cobbler French toast. They were all amazing. I was worried the bread would be soggy with all the toppings, but it was the perfect consistency. The flavors were great and the portions were huge. Generally not a fan of French toast, but definitely a fan of theirs!

I did notice that the parking lot is sometimes packed with dilapidated vehicles, service trucks and vans. For years, my assumption was La Reyna was an auto parts store, until I saw the restaurant sign. Hmmmm. The curb appeal as a restaurant was less than enticing. Couldn't be much of one. Having eaten at hundreds of these gritty little hole in the wall family operated restaurants, my experiences set my expectations; authentic, but bland Mexican food. I read the reviews some favorable and some unfavorable. No matter, I'm going in today. Inside a store, restaurant and cantina. The whole frickin' place was being ran by a very nice young lady. She was mixing Cheladas behind the bar and delivering them along with big glass mugs of ceviche to the customers in the bar area. A half a dozen construction workers; bright yellow safety shirts and muddy boots, in for a mid afternoon lunch. In between managing the cantina, she took care of the customers in the store and waited on patrons in the restaurant. She was hustling. The service was a little slow, tolerable, but worth the wait especially when the reward of delicious plates of food arrived. My wife and I were the only gringos in the restaurant. The food was exceptional. I had some of the best most flavorful Mexican food that I have ever had in a small restaurant like this. Starting with the chunky fresh guacamole, fresh salsa and hot crisp tortilla chips. The guac had chunks of ripe avocado, jalapenos, tomato and cilantro. Truly the best I have had. For me a huarache, a shoe size 13 plate full, loaded with spicy pastor, covered with salad and queso fresco. My wife had the enchiladas verde. Three corn tortillas packed with seasoned chicken and covered with green sauce. Absolutely delicious flavorful food. Nothing bland. Check the pictures. Your experience may vary. Ours food was fantastic. La Reyna is an overlooked sleeper in Broken Arrow.

There's plenty of parking and traditionally it's been a five dollar entry fee. So bring the bibs and wet wipes and see what summer here in Tulsa tastes like!

There are always a ton a people, but the lines for ice cream move pretty quickly. There's often a friendly Blue Bell volunteer passing out cups to people waiting in line. The flavors vary every year, but there's always the classics, such as cookies and cream or chocolate chip cookie dough, plus some of Blue Bell's more special flavors, such as banana pudding or blackberry cobbler. Pro-tips: Buy tickets online to skip the long line to buy tickets at the gate. Bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat! There are a few shady areas in Central Park, but not that many. There also aren't many tables, so be prepared to eat ice cream on your feet. Skip the novelty stand near the entrance. Everyone clusters there when they first get in, but there's usually a less crowded, second stand deeper in the park.
