Authentic Mexican food! I really enjoy eating here, reminds me of my roots! Definitely worth the try!

Not much to look at but you don't eat the van. The food that comes out is great.

I had the steak taco (small but delicious - I should have gotten 3), and a chicken burrito (it could take me 3 days to eat it all and I would never be hungry. But it's too good so I'll finish it tonight). Keep in mind La Reynard is not a restaurant. When you pull into the parking lot following Yelp directions, you will see a very nice large modern building that looks like a restaurant. That's a Bakery. That's not La Reyna. La Reyna is a food van across the parking lot from the building and near the street. At 7:30 pm on Saturday there were 3 beautiful women inside having fun. One answered my questions and took my order right away. She even asked me if I like cilantro - which I do. But I know some don't. Being a Gringo, I am not a connoisseur of Mexican food. But as far as I'm concerned the food is great.

This is an older picture of their menu. The same items are available. Better descriptions on the new menu

La reyna is a small local Mexican market with a restaurant off to the side. It is 100% authentic Mexican food. No TEX MEX. I have had plenty of items on their menu from their carnitas, pastor, carne asada tacos, burritos, sopes, caldo de res, and flautas. I have enjoyed every last meal here except their tamales. Their tamales were the worst. They were dry, and had bones in them. This is the only reason I'm giving them a 4. If you're looking for a nice date night restaurant, this isn't it. Just not very appealing. But their food is great!

The experience that I had at La Reyna was pretty middle of the road. The only genuinely negative comment I have is that the elote en vaso was made with canned corn (which isn't great to begin with) but they didn't drain it so it was sopping wet (pictured). The carnitas were fine but not seasoned well or fried enough for my liking. I like my carnitas crispy and flavorful and Tacos Los Hermanos is the place to find that. The pastor tasted like a sloppy joe which is not great lol. The pastor at Los Hermanos is also much better. The pollo was fine and flavored well but a little dry. I wish I had taken a photo of the "gordita" which really was more like an open faced empanada. It has cheese in it? They also don't make their tortillas fresh which is a huge bummer. Nothing was terrible but it was definitely a much more mediocre experience than the reviews hyped me up for.

Talk about a hole in wall Mexican restaurant, located inside a Mexican grocery store. Quiet, no frills but clean and friendly wait staff. Menu items are few but good. Don't wait for chip and salsa, beverages are served from cans or glass bottles or cans from the store. You may be surprised like was (skeptical). I had the barbacoba De Cabeza tacos (head meat) with onions and cilantro. The wife had chicken enchiladas with green sauce with rice and beans. Good flavor

    Asada tacos and hair

So our favorite taco truck, 'Taqueria La Casita' moved and we can't find it. We decided to try this place out as a replacement for street tacos. Their menu prices aren't bad at all, but we were charged $53 for our dinner. $30 for tacos, & apparently $23 for a side of rice and beans, and 3 drinks. They weren't friendly. But NONE of this was an issue. I repeat, I was HAPPY to pay $53 for tacos and drinks. However, there was a long hair intertwined in my tacos through the meat and other toppings. I honestly don't even care if people are rude when I get my food bc I'm not paying for your kindness when all I want is some street tacos. But the HAIR.. I cannot. I will not go back ever.

Learn Spanish. Good food, reasonable prices very authentic. Not much for ambiance. Many roofers and construction people.

Great food and prices! They also have the best horchata in town. It's attached to a great little grocery store too! Nice people!

Seriously best tacos in broken arrow! There is a taco truck parked out front, but you can go in the store to order.

I'm not going to say I'm bias, but since this is where my husband and I met up for our first date,…read moreI might be bias. We love this spot. I found it when he asked if there was a place I'd want to go to and I suggested somewhere in west BA because he was loving way east and I'm in Tulsa. I looked on Yelp and suggested Los Vaqueros, which just happened to already be one of his favorite places. We have come back many times together since our first meeting because the service is solid with friendly staff, the food is reliably always good, and we like hopping next door when we are done and shooting some pool. He always asks them to make shrimp quesadillas. They aren't on the menu, but they will make them and they are good! The shrimp are large and juicy. I love a lunch special when we've come for lunch (like we did for our first date), but at dinner time, I tend to lean towards the margarita chicken. Super good. A nice portion of grilled veggies, and the chicken is always moist. I like that it is pretty colorful on here. I told him that was something g that o liked when we came here on our first date. But they keep lighting lower, so it's not shockingly colorful. I just really enjoy it here!

They had a live band, and Gabby the clown was making the coolest balloon yo-yos. She spent some one-on-one time with little mama showing her tricks, which made her night. Our server was 10/10, food was 10/10, and we shared the Monterey Jack steak and bacon wrapped (yes, bacon wrapped) chicken fajitas and they were MONEY. Portion size was huge too -- we still have leftovers today. The $5 margarita special was strong and tasty, and little miss even got to ride her first mechanical bull. Safe to say we'll definitely be back.

Since this was our first visit here, we had to order our comparison dishes. Those are guacamole, birria tacos and street tacos. When we received the chips and salsa, I noticed the salsa lacked some cilantro, but had a unique flavor, different from our other favorite Mexican food establishments. My wife was really fond of it, but said it was ok. I really liked it, even if it lacked cilantro. The guacamole came out and it looked like my guac that make at home. It was very good, didn't need any additional salt and was not overpowering in lime. I'd give it 10/10. My wife ordered the chicken street tacos. She said they were the best out of all the places we go. The chicken was flavorful and the tortillas didn't fall apart. It came with a tomatillo crema that was infused with jalapeños and was too spicy for her. I got the Birria tacos and they were especially good with the crema. The birria consumé was excellent. The rice was fluffy and tender and the refried beans were on point. They serve Coke products which includes Coke Zero and they were quick with the refills. We will definitely put this place as #2 on our list of go-to Mexican cuisine establishments. They are located in the Rose District, so the prices will be slightly higher, but it's still worth the visit.

There's a parking lot in this plaza, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. They offered complementary chips and dips (salsa and queso). We ordered additional guac. The chorizo queso is sooooo good! I ordered the birria taco plate and I'd say this is very authentic compared to food back home (California)! They were generous with the birria and the consome is chefs kiss!!! The staff did a wonderful job in assuring our needs were met and that we were satisfied. I hope this place is just renovating and hopefully will reopen in the foreseeable future. I would love to see this place continue to thrive!

Really good and would order again. Rice and beans were probably above average. My dining partner asked how the chile relleno was prepared. (He doesn't like the eggy batter.) We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. Since it is a tequila bar and we sat at the bar, I would have liked to have discussed tequilas but my bad for not asking. Would have loved to have done a tasting. The menu was informative. I would go back when in south Tulsa. Not sure I would make it a destination. (Well, maybe. Those enchiladas were good! It is a cute place.
