I had a really disappointing experience with this company. I'm surprised at the number of good…read morereviews. We contracted them to move my mother out of her unit and put her stuff in storage while we secured her new unit. The move out went well. No issues. But while in storage we ran into a few issues. First, finding and closing on my mother's new condo took longer than expected. At one point she wanted to access her items to pull goods out to help make her transition period a bit more comfortable. Apparently their "secure storage" means that they pack your goods into units with other people's goods across multiple "vaults". If you need to access ANYTHING until you're ready to move out, they charge you several hundred dollars based on the number of vaults for the labor to have someone pull all your stuff out, let you access it, and then put it back into the vaults. Jon was reasonable in the sense that he gave me a 25% discount on this charge, but it was still a shocker and made it cheaper for us to just buy her the same things she had in storage. The second issue came when it was time to move out. Their moving rates are premium because "they use W2 employees". We were in a rush to move in. They quoted us dates that were over a week in the future. So we started looking into other movers. When I mentioned this, they advised that we would be charged the same several hundred $$ fee for their person to remove our stuff from their vault AND that they would not be able to let us access the vault until the SAME date option as their move availability over a week in the future. I was shocked again. Financial penalty for using another mover and time penalty either way. On the day of moving in, there were a couple of guys that conducted the move. Older guy was kind, but younger guy was pretty rough with my mother at the end - rushing her to provide payment that I had already coordinated with the office to provide digitally once I got the invoice at the end of the move. I would not recommend this service if you had ANY chance of wanting to access your goods while in their storage. Also, be ready for very premium rates for their impolite "W2" labor.

Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock).
