I used Yelp to start a project in order to interview Movers to help me move into my new place. Full House moving had the best price by far, and I had good communication with Mark. Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock). read more

Showed up a few minutes late due to heavy traffic, which was fine. Had me sign the contract, and they got to work, super quick. They sent the number of guys I had requested (3) and they got the job done quickly. Showed up at my new place very quickly, unpacked quickly and carefully. No problem with anything. They were very professional and friendly. They estimated job would take 4 hours, it ended up taking 5 hours and 15 minutes. Honestly I was surprised they got it done that fast. The price estimate they gave me was very low. I've moved enough times to know how moving companies work, so I knew it was going to cost much more than their estimate. And it did. But again, not surprised. I don't agree with this practice. I think Moving Companieshould be clearer and more up front on their estimates. I was not surprised by the end number, but I'm sure there are other people who are shocked by what it ends up costing. But overall, I was very happy with this company. They worked hard. They didn't damage any furniture or boxes. They didn't lose anything. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call this company to move me again. read more

Mike and his team did a great job. They communicated promptly, showed up on time, and were very helpful. They are very nice and really took care of my home. It felt like they were handling their own family valuables and put me at peace. It also helps that they are very big and strong and Probably the two biggest movers I've ever seen in my life which is great! Horrible! Showed up about 4 hours late and after I waited all day I wasn't able to move due to the loading dock locked. This caused a serious delay with not only my moving to my new place but also caused us to have to change our flights for our planned trip. I started off impressed with them with how quickly they responded, and they were one of the best priced companies. But the day of the move, not only did they break one of my desks, and they tried to replace it with some of their donations that were way bigger than the one I had and that one barely was going to fit in my new apartment, they charged me three hours more without even telling me they were gonna charge me three hours more and it went from $800-$1200. They drank my soda and my water. And they were not even careful with the floors when they were moving the furniture. A lot of the furniture that they did bring over has missing nails, my patio chair that is a rocking chair is no longer a rocking chair. I have to throw it away. And I still tipped them which in hindsight I wish I wouldn't have because the work was messy and rushed and yeah, I still got charged three hours more. Very deceiving. And I am going to escalate, but I just wanted to make this review because these 4+ stars can be deceiving. read more

In the beginning, I had a good experience with the "manager "of the company he did not tell me his name. (and his partner who also did not tell me his name.) they were moving all my big heavy stuff. It was going really good and towards the end, he started becoming very disrespectful towards me. He tried to charge me a lot more than what I was supposed to pay when I tried to explain it to him. He would not let me explain. He kept cutting me off, telling me that I was wrong. When I tried to pay with my husband's card, he told me that I could not do that and that it had to be my card with my name on it, which I was not told prior to the move. I had my mom on the phone who he was also very disrespectful too, and kept cutting off and was very degrading to both of us so she could pay for the move over Zelle because he would not let me explain that my husband is deployed. When I got down to all of my personal stuff some heavy and some Knott I asked him if you could help me move the heavy stuff which he did not because my back is shot and I'm not supposed to be lifting at all. He then commented and said "your boyfriend can help you move the rest "I then explained to him that my husband is in the military and deployed, and I don't have anybody else and that I am not supposed to be moving things that are heavy because my back is shot . He said he was not going to charge me for another hour. They ended at 4 o'clock when I went to go pay. He charged me till 430 when I watched them take boxes out of their truck that did not belong to me or come from my apartment and walk them back-and-forth to the dumpster. he charged me extra money for the 30 minutes when I tried to explain that to him he got very rude and disrespectful and told me that I was wrong and kept cutting me off. I didn't have any problems with this partner that was with him besides the fact that he was sitting down on his phone some of the time. They were good with the heavy stuff they were moving, but the attitudes and the disrespect that I received not only to me, but to my mom was just unacceptable. I texted the lady who scheduled this move for me. I believe her name is Sophia and she did not respond to me, but she read the message. It took me about five hours to move the rest of my stuff up and down three flights of stairs, driving over to the other apartment and going up another two which hurt my back in the end, but I had to do it all by myself because I don't have anybody else. I would not recommend this moving company unless you have a couple of heavy things to move but besides that I definitely do not recommend this company especially because I believe Sofia is the owner of the company and all she did was read my message and not get back to me. read more

We recently hired Mark and Alex to help with our move, and overall, they did a great job. They were extremely punctual, efficient, and handled our belongings with care and responsibility. The downside was that although their service was advertised as having "no hidden fees", we were charged extra for the tape ($5 each) and mattress protection ($17.5 each) used during the move, which we didn't expect. They also charged 1 hr for travel at $99 which was not included in the original quote. Addition, to the $60 surcharge for fuel. Still, their work ethic and professionalism were good. We have to admit that the guys worked hard and quickly. But the preliminary estimate was deliberately below realistic level. We ended up paying 1.7 times more. they also seriously damaged an expensive recliner chair, which we discovered the next morning and reported to the mover. he promised to take care of it, but never got back to us. We got it fixed by someone for $100, emailed it to the mover with request of compensation. But he never got back to us. read more
