I got lucky with no penalty from the State because I had paperwork showing they lied. Don't get yourself caught in a situation like this because a shop has a "quicker" way to do that's not legal.

I had 3 total in the 2 years I was ordered to have it because they ultimately went defective. They also drained my car batteries, and I had to buy 2 and then kept having to have the last one constantly charged. I've been stranded, had to have my car towed, and paid for many drive-share rides. I've also shown up to appointments to have absolutely NO ONE to be found at the shop for my scheduled appointments. Please notice these are all plural! Then when my day finally came to get it removed, I went to a shop (Ebenezer on Federal) in Denver. They took my (expensive) de-install fee plus their fee, plus the credit card fee, to then not submit any of the money to the corporate office of LifeSafer. I didn't even realize this until LifeSafer removed the funds from my checking account. Which I did not authorize! Also, beware... if they have a card on file, they will use any one you've EVER used! So now my checking account is negative, I've spent a lot of my time, energy, and efforts arguing with them as well as the shop and they will not give me my money back. This is horrible and they clearly are not selective with whom they choose to service their interlock clients to. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR BREATHALYZER SERVICE!! There are many other companies out there. And choosing this company will not only impact your wallet, time, job, but also your car and possibly your license!

I was able to determine if you had the car battery I needed with a simple phone call and I could stop by at my convenience to have it installed free of charge. When I arrived, you suggested charging my existing battery in the store to assess its capability, before buying a new one. An hour later, it was apparent that the battery wasn't fully functional and it made sense to purchase a new one. I value your straightforward and honest approach to doing business. Trust means everything to me when it comes to automotive repairs. You also suggested taking a photo of the 3 year warranty, so I'd always have a record of my receipt, even if I lost the original paper. What a great idea! Made an appointment one week later to have the device removed after the device would go off every 5 minutes while driving and I learned there was a GPS on the device that would track all movements and would contact the police if the device registered alcohol. The technician that removed the device refused to refund the 2 months lease and calibration charges. Customer service with these people is extremely poor. Technicians poorly trained. Stay away!!!
