My motorcycle broke down in Sacramento about 90 miles away from my home in the Bay Area. When I reached out to AAA they sent Londell from Gorilla Motorcycle Towing. Londell was great! Gave me a call to let me know he was on the way and was very professional. Super friendly and waited a bit to make sure we were all situated. If I ever need a tow in the Sacramento area I will be calling Gorilla Motorcycle Towing . Never have I had a experience anywhere near this great with a tow company!!

Called Gorilla to have our huge Victory Cruser taken to the shop for repairs. LonDell contacted me with an arrival time and then arrived a bit earlier. He was respectful of the bike, polite and did a great job man-handling the beast. The rig and tie downs appeared to hold the bike well and she didn't wobble. I was impressed with their rig. These guys live up to their name. It's like having a gorilla tow your bike. The driver pulled up to tow my 2005 Hayabusa and I asked him if he wanted me to take it to the ramp. He said "I've got it." He rolled it maybe two feet and then dropped it. My bike had never been dropped until then. He said one of his friends could paint it. That's NOT the point! I wouldn't let these guys tow a Honda Nighthawk. read more

I was in sac on my harley, and while riding on the freeway I had a front tire go flat on me, pulled off and of course did some searching around for a company. I love my harley so I wanted the best for her. I called him and told me he can pick me up within the hour cause of a bike on the truck already. No worries, so I waited and then he shows up, he loaded my bike and did everything, I watched him and was impressed on how he was careful and strapped down properly and securely. Only used this guy cuz the #1 choice was on a long tow from Sonoma. The guy answering 2as apparantly thge owner, made an appointment for 915. Get a call from the driver saying he could not understand my text with my address.... what? Nonsense. When the guy finally show up, after explicit detailed instruction, he still took wrong turns. Then the guy almost drops my Harley trying to hook it up alone. Once finally on the 3.9 mile trip, i asm right in front of the tow, following me until I took my last turn, and rsther than continuing to follow, he went straight. I pull into the shop and realize he did NOT follow me, waited a couple of minutes and called the guy. Bottom line.... find another tow. UPDATE: the company called me in response to this review. Sent me a $10 Starbucks gift card and apologized for the new driver... read more

You guys are great! I called Progressive and my 1st hit was another tow 90 minute wait. I tapped Gorilla when they came up as it showed a 45 min wait. They were there in 30mins with some pretty outrageous commute traffic opposing them. My last tow was from another business that wanted me to help him get the bike on a flatbed, I'm old and banged up, and not able to push a bike up a ramp. Gorilla has the right equipment specific to motorcycles, they make it look easy. In Summary very courteous and professional service, and they took care when it came to handling my bike. 5 stars. read more

I seen these guys at the Easyrider show. And when my bike decide to die on me I called them. They got to me and picked me up. Treated my bike like it was thier own. Highly professional driver. I WATCHED the driver make a crack in my tail light fairing as he was fastening it onto the truck. He apologized but after unloading the bike, claimed that the crack was already there. My tail light fairing had previous damage and he said that the crack that he made was already there. Called company and they were quick to defend the driver. I am not happy that the driver could not own up to his mistake. I literally watched him and heard the crack. Boss/manager did not reach back to me after calling and messaging. read more

I called around 6 different places. Looking for a motorcycle tow for the same day. The avg wait was 2 hours for $200+. By a stroke of luck I came across Gorilla Motorcyle Towing. I called was given a 45 min ETA for a great price. JJ arrived in 35 min. He was professional, quick and personable. Tgeequipment is top notch not a flat bed with tie downs but a specialized rig that had my bike safe, secure, and most important sittin pretty.I dont plan on it but if i need a tow forget all the others they have my business. read more

I was unharmed but my winsheild had a hole the size of a softball in it and I was stranded about 1 hour from my destination. Max from Loyal towing showed up as my AAA tow service and I couldn't have been more grateful. Not only did he advise me that the place I requested the car be towed did not have a secure yard but he called his boss and arranged to have my car towed to the Loyal Towing secure yard in Sacramento and safely stored until I could have the windshield repaired. (They did not charge me to keep my car on their lot for two nights) The people at Loyal towing also helped me find a person to replace my windshield the next morning (safelight winsheild repair quoted me two days later and a much higher price) and the gentlemen who replaced my windshield was prompt, fair and just an all around sweet guy! Overall, the people here made a scary and unfortunate incident turn out alright. I'm very happy to share my experience if it helps this solid business. But on a cold January winter day, one of our couple of weeks new tires lost air gradually and we had a flat. Thankfully, we were not on the freeway when this happened, but were on a residential street. Unfortunately, we were not within walking distance to our home or even close to our neighborhood. Nevertheless, we were so glad that it was a sunny and kind of warm day after quite a few rainy and stormy days, so at least we didn't have to wait in the wet and cold outside. I called my insurance company who sent Loyal. After over an hour, I was like, they said they'd be here in 45m, so I called our insurance back, only to find out that Loyal canceled on us w/o notifying us and our insurance co barely just found out and so they just rerouted the service order to another towing company! I was not a happy camper. Yours truly waited on the side of the road for most of this time by myself in order that a Good Samaritan, living in the house right where our car started losing air quick (thanks to my hubby for noticing, I'm not sure I myself would've noticed until it was really flat) could take my husband and my kids to my in-laws kind of nearby and borrow their (hardly driven) car (they are too elderly to drive to us for those wondering) to take the kids home and come back for me. Again, it was really a blessed day to have a flat b/c it actually was so sunny it got kind of warm, but after 2+ hours wait, the sun was starting to go down... Time is money so wasting my time = terrible value! Come to find out, Loyal is NOT even a local company, I know it shows they have a local address and number, but our insurance company directed me to a San Diego number when I asked for Loyal Towing's number to call myself and complain. I'm not sure that would do anything, but in any case, the only contact number we ever got was to a San Diego number where the central call center for Loyal is located. Lesson learned that if we ever need roadside assistance again and my car insurance sends Loyal, I'll immediately ask to have a different company sent. Thanks to all other Yelpers reviewing Loyal Towing who've also experienced terrible service (or disservice and no-service in my case), so others will know to avoid them like the Plague they are!!!

I hired him to…read morereplace the battery on my 2010 Honda Civic and inspect several parts that a dealer had claimed were leaking and needed to be replaced. He inspected them and showed me how each one was clean, dry, and completely fine. He then inspected the rest of the engine compartment and the undercarriage and showed me that it was all in great shape. Finally, he noticed that a previous mechanic had removed the plastic shroud for my front wheel wells and failed to install new clips to secure the shroud afterward. I had wondered about the gap he noticed for years, but I didn't realize it was anything other than wear and tear. He replaced the clips for no extra charge. I know it seems like a small thing, but to me, it speaks clearly to Roland's character: I believe he genuinely cares about doing right by his customers and taking good care of their cars. When I asked him about some issues with electronic parts on my car (e.g. a digital dashboard display), he let me know that his area of focus was mechanical service and advised me to take my car to an electrical auto shop. I was grateful that he knew the limits of his expertise, communicated them clearly, and stuck to them. I felt his quoted price was quite reasonable, and even after he performed more work than requested (still within about a 1-hour time slot), he stuck to his original price quote. I am very happy with the service he provided and the price I paid! I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He spent 40 minutes prying at different parts and trying to forcefully remove my fuse box to get to the 100A fusible link that I had to tell him was located beneath and the assembly had to be unbolted to get to it from underneath. After 40 minutes of painfully watching him attempt to force things open. I politely asked him to stop as it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing and broke a few components off my housing. I tried calling him to let him know of the damages. He denied responsibility and said he was only at my house for 5 minutes. He told me to never contact him again and failed to respond to the before and after photos I sent. Do not trust this shady business. What went from a lb easy replacement of a 100A that I could have done myself but did not have the time to do so, resulted in several hundred dollars of parts in addition to more for labor due to gross incompetence. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

I used Yelp to put a blanket request for the Sacramento area, and Stress Free Auto reached out right away! I was able to take my car in first thing the next morning and was greeted in such a friendly and warm way. Knowing they had a few jobs ahead of me, they called a niiiice Lyft and made sure I got home free of charge! From there the communication was excellent. There were continual texts that provided information about their progress not only with searching for the main problem, but also a general overall inspection of my vehicle. Once complete they sent me an estimate, I called to coordinate which things I wanted repaired/addressed, and they sent over a finalized quote that I signed immediately. It was quick, informative, and quite literally stress free The main problem was a cracked exhaust manifold. Seems like an extensive repair, right? Well, they let me know later that afternoon that they were done! Amazing same day service! Absolutely incredible. It's been a month since the repair and I haven't had any issues. So, in my book, that's a job well done! The only small gripe I have is the cost. Again, it was same day service, so it's understandable that I might have paid more than I would have at another local shop, but they did offer a discount on the initial inspection cost. Some other shops roll the inspection cost into the cost of repairs, but unfortunately Stress Free doesn't do that. Plus, a couple of suggested repairs were somewhat of a laughable cost. If memory serves, they quoted me around $60 to replace wipers. I'm not sure if it was a quote for all 3, or just one, but I spent $15 on a wiper on the way home and installed it myself. Whatever, they are trying to make money! Despite my small price gripe, I will be using Stress Free in the future for any vehicle concerns I have!

I was looking for a decent place to get my front brakes replaced. I called the Toyota dealer and it…read morewas $325 for generic parts while Toyota parts was $420. This was just for the pads no rotors. I got a hold of this place and they gave me a quote of $460 with new rotors installed too. The reviews on this place were really good on Yelp Plus I knew some of the people who reviewed them. So I tried them. I called the next day to see if they could fit me in and they said they could do it in a couple of hours. I was going to wait there since the wife was at work. I brought my car there and they looked over my car and ordered the parts. They would be there in 15 minutes. These guys seemed really knowledgeable and very friendly. He gave me $25 bucks off for paying in cash. Anything off is good. Just a note if you use a credit card the company charges 3% more so cash is much better. Their waiting room has lots of different seats to sit in and there were two really padded chairs so I was really comfortable sitting while they worked on my car. The really nice thing about them is the speed. my car was done in under one hour . that was amazing. They guarantee their work for one year. I love it. I will be coming back for my other cars if I need work done again. Top notch place SO far my brakes are smooth and quiet. I don't think they tested the brakes when they were do because later after driving a while there was smoke coming from the brakes. It happens if the film on the pads are still on there or you leave some grease from you hands heheh. Still working great and I could see that they turned the rotors by looking at them .

No one ever starts a ride thinking that they're going to break down. It does happen, though, and if it happens to you, I highly recommend Gorilla Towing. Damon Banks, (the owner), is friendly and professional and appeared to treat my bike like his own. His equipment looked new and clean. The elapsed time from the moment I made the original call to my bike being pushed into the garage was approximately 30 minutes. The best experience!!! My husband's motorcycle broke down few days ago. After calling around for an hour for a good price I finally called Gorilla tow. The price was reasonable, they where on time, very friendly and the guy knew his way around a Harley ok!!!! He handled our back with care and was very helpful with other questions we had..
