I have had several bad experiences in the past with other car services. Either they didnt communicate in a timely fashion, or they showed up in dirty cars, or they showed up late, or drivers were just plain unsafe. Alliance took the time to explain to me the processes they took to ensure that the cars were on time, drivers safe, and cars beyond the usual clean that is expected. When they arrived I was blown away. The car looked like they had just picked it up from the showroom floor. The best part for me was that they were not only on time but in fact early! The driver was professional and safe and didnt mind our change of plans that altered our route. Without question Alliance is who I will continue to use for any time I need car service. I frequently refer friends, family, and colleagues to the service and those that have used Alliance have all said the same about the service that I have.

He allowed us both to vent about our experience and at the end of a three hour ride, we both felt we had gained a friend. Do not hesitate, we 100% recommend Alliance Limousine and John.

You need a belt for your antique tractor, it's there on the wall. Brand new sthl, it's there. They fix and order anything that they can. It's not just a store, it's a resource that most towns don't have. I am thankful for shops like this one.

The big problem I have with them every spring when I call for my mower to be picked up is that "it will be picked up over the next 2-3 weeks and we'll call you the day before." In the spring of 2022 I called in late March thinking this would certainly beat the rush, after the 2-3 week wait, they never called back so I called them and they told me the "pick-up" guy was going on vacation. After complaining about this, they got the guy to pick it up. The woman (owner's wife?) on the front desk is simply a puppet, she always needs to check with the owner on everything before I get an answer. After my mower then sat over the time period they promised, I spoke to the owner and told him the background on how my mower is never picked up on time, and it happened this time. Trust me when I say this, I never raised my voice or got contentious, but this is what happened next, he said, "if you are going to act this way, I'm not going to fix your mower." I was dumbfounded and shocked and said, "wow" with a pregnant pause from both of us. He then started ranting, "I'm the only one here spinning a wrench" and "you should call to get it tuned up in February and March" (surely what every mower owner is thinking of then!). What was I going to do when I needed to rely on him on delivering it, he had the upper hand. The conclusion is, despite all my early planning and my initial patience, I got the shaft coupled with terrible customer service. I will never set foot in that place again. There are at least two other places in the surrounding towns who can service it.

It's been since August 2009 that I've been meaning to write this review. Words can't describe my…read moreheartfelt experience with Curly and his courier service in Vermont. It all started with having to catch an unexpected, last minute EARLY flight outta Boston to SFO, (crack of dawn early), meaning that I was left in a dilemma of having to spend the night in the BOS airport. That night, the plan was to get me to the Boston airport from Marlboro Vermont, (an hour's drive away). When I explained the situation, Curly went out of his way to take me to a local hotel in Brattelboro, VT, (last minute), negotiated a rate with the hotel, and rearranged his next morning's entire schedule so that he could come for me at the crack of dawn so that I could make my flight. Curly is retired and has this courier business as a way to continue to provide for his family and his just out of the hospital sick wife. So, when he rearranged his entire morning's schedule, (including "dressing and feeding his wife her breakfast because she was too sick to do for herself just yet"), I was speechless. He said that he "just couldn't live with himself knowing that a young lady was sleeping in an airport on his watch." Aaaahh [insert warm fuzzies here]. I love Vermont men :). The next morning he came for me right on the dot, helped me to load my big fat suitcases once again back into the car, gave me fresh juice and snacks, and feed my soul with his stories filled with sincerity about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. It was only an hour and a half that I spent with him, but that was an hour I'd never forget. Thank you Curly for your genuine concern about my well-being, and opening up to share life's lessons with this 31yo. I loved Vermont, but I fell in love with Vermont even more so after meeting Curly. This could have been just another car ride, but this turned into an experience that has touched my heart forever. TY Curly from the bottom of my heart. FYI: His real name is Lynton "Curly" Worden, President. Fully Insured.
