Honey Jasmine Latte was really light & not-so-sweet for my non-sweet fans. I love the community board and they were pretty quick with our order. There's a good number of seating for all. Cute little old fashioned coffee spot reminding me of a mini Cracker Barrow somehow, cozy and warm book warm ready interior with simple familiar menu offering all sorts of sugar syrups to ripen that caffeine. I enjoyed a quick chat with the staff to settle a butter pecan latte. Went with a smaller size to offset morning diabetic weather, noticed there seemed to be a lot more ice for even a small iced latte than Starbucks but I see many places having to shave copper somehow. It was too smooth to drink with any responsible manners, more good reason I got the small. Brookfield has a few nice local businesses. Gosia's is one of these, a place to find some coffee that's not from a chain. It has pretty friendly service like a good old mom and pop operation. Certainly it's not a big place and space is limited but it has a cozy feel. There's also eats like bagels and sweets. For those going through on train, it's a convenient stop at breakfast. It's only across the street from the station, making this the perfect place to get a boost in the morning. The coffee is from Collectivo, so you already know it's good, and it's from the area too. Has many typical coffee drinks. The last time here I got a Cafe Latte, because any coffee place can be judged based on this. It's $3.50 for a medium. Substitute non dairy milk for $0.75, which includes almond and oat. Bagels are limited but they have a few. It's about $2 and comes with butter, cream cheese, or jelly. They also have doughnuts and more. Cool place for some coffee. It's not to be confused with the coffee place in the train station that's called Locha Mocha. This is only a few feet away from here, and they have a friendly dog, if you needed any more reasons why you should go here, and better prices. read more

Visiting from out of state, we swung by this very charming coffee shop around 8:30 on a Saturday morning. We had iced coffees (delicious) and muffins. I came here during 4th of July for the first time and I had a wonderful experience. The iced macchiato I ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere inside was very cozy. The workers were all very nice and the owner put out chairs along the sidewalk outside their business to sit and watch the 4th of July parade with our coffee. They even had an outdoor mini coffee stand for passerby! I will definitely be coming back! read more

For some reason, I'd always dismiss it because I thought it was in the train station or something..until one day my husband suggested that we try it. For the record, it's across from the station and it's quite the cozy pick me up. I'm particular about my coffee so sometimes I don't like trying places that don't have many reviews (since lattes can be expensive) This beauty did not disappoint! My latte was flavorful and tasty and the service was great. The baristas took the time to answer my questions (I usually have a bunch) and they were helpful when it came to my husband choosing a drink. He had tried their coffee a couple of times before and he wasn't fond of the drip coffee (it was really light) but he enjoyed the hot horchata he ordered and I enjoyed the iced vanilla latte I got. It's a perfect spot if you're looking to grab a great tasting coffee, or chai latte without all the complexities of a chain. They do carry pastries, bagels, and the like if you're in the mood for a bite to eat. Definitely stop in if you just need a quiet place to read, or get some work done. I love this coffee shop. I had to move from Chicago's loop to Brookfield a few months ago (thanks covid) & this place has made me appreciate the suburbs. Places like this put Starbucks to shame. I love this coffee shop! This was my first time in, and Gosia and her fellow coffee comrade were so kind and welcoming to me. I got a delicious latte--they grind the espresso beans per order! The atmosphere is super cute and cozy--lots of great seating options, super clean, great music, free WiFi. They have beautiful art for sale on the walls. This is a great local place and I saw lots of Brookfield-ites coming in throughout the afternoon I was there. I'm always looking for independent coffee shops and this one fits the bill. I stopped in on a Saturday and was surprised by the lack of customers, maybe Saturdays are a slow day? I ordered a cappuccino which had some highs and lows. The temperature was spot on, and the foam held up well. The flavor of the espresso was extremely weak, so weak I asked the person with me to give it a taste and he agreed. I know they use Colectivo beans so that wasn't the issue, so my only guess is the amount of espresso, they didn't tamp it or the grind was off. read more

Small, quiet location that is directly along side the Brookfield train station. I came here to work in the mid afternoon and there is room on either more softer lounge chairs, two person tables, or a bar and stool style seating area. It does have enough space to accommodate people for working. The basic coffee selection is simple but they brew high quality roasts. There were three selections for me to choose from when ordering a simple black drip coffee. I chose the Darn and Tan and it was great. The prices also run cheaper than Starbucks while I think the coffee itself is a nice change from the everyday. read more
