As time went on the other company really dragged their feet on sending the information to my Home Warranty company to get approved because they were constantly trying to get me to buy a new AC. (check my previous reviews to see which company) I contacted LMH Services because I had heard from a few people that they were honest, reliable and quick. After not having AC for 2 weeks (with no consideration from the other AC company) I decided to buy a new unit from LMH Services because they offered me a price lower than the other for the whole system. Not only that but they scheduled me for the very next day. I now have a system that saves me tons of money, is quiet and after some research is one of the best units on the market. My neighbor has even told me they don't hear my unit like they use to since it's a quieter system. LMH Services made it a pretty awesome experience all around.

Just three days later, our home was hot again because the AC was no longer working properly. We contacted LMH and were told that a technician would come back out to address the problem. We waited all day and never heard from anyone. Finally, at approximately 7:30 PM, we were told that the technician was unable to come out. We were then told that we would need to spend an additional $4,000 to service the system and get a new unit. I am extremely frustrated with this experience. In my opinion, the pricing and communication were misleading, and I do not feel that LMH stood behind the work we had already paid $600 for only three days earlier. Customers deserve clear explanations, reasonable pricing, reliable communication, and a company that stands behind its work. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with LMH. I am sharing our experience so other homeowners can be aware and make an informed decision before hiring this company. They were great and we were happy so it was hard to consider another company when it was obvious that our old Lennox had to be replaced. We hated it but Air Tech's price was SO high we felt we had to get comparative pricing. We got several quotes but when we met with Terry from Texecellent A/C Service we knew we'd found the right company. I knew almost immediately that he was extremely knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He gave us a price for an Armstrong HVAC system that is made by Lennox. I really had concerns because it wasn't one of the "big name brands" but the price was good (not cheap) but a good price for what seemed like a great product. We decided to take a chance and we are THRILLED!!! The crew that came out were professional from the moment they rang the doorbell! We were worried about tolerating the heat for the day. We're in our 70's & 80's. We needn't have worried. Troy, the lead tech, came in with 2 portable AC's and plugged them in the areas we were going to be. We stayed cool all day long!!!! When the crew was finished, they cleaned up after themselves, making sure there was no debris from the attic on the floors. All in all, it was a GREAT experience. We've had the HVAC unit for a couple of weeks now and we absolutely LOVE it!!! And the thermostat......OMG!! It sounds silly to be so excited over a thermostat but it's the cats meow! It shows the outside weather conditions in the background. Sunny and cloudy are nice but I love the starry nights and my favorite is when we have a thunderstorm. It shows rain and lightening! You'd have to see it to know just how cool it is! If you're needing any type of HVAC service, or if you need a new unit, I'd highly recommend Texecellent A/C Service and Terry McWilliams. Tony answered and said he could come out the next day and recommended a 23 Seer would work the best for our space. He sent Danny out who was very professional. He was even able to have him come early in the morning before the day got hot. The install was completed within hours and the house was cooling before the heat of the day. Their prices are very reasonable less than $2k. The unit is very efficient and cools amazingly. This company is amazing and I am glad my wife found them online. I called Nicks Pluming and AC initially and they came out Saturday at 2pm to look at my AC…read moreand told me that the capacitor needed to be changed that was 2k but if the unit needed to be changed that would be 6k and that there could be a leak. Pretty much a bunch of BS I called Efficient Polar Air they came out Saturday at 9PM said that the builder when the HVAC person installed the unit they didn't vacuum enough and if anything the expansion valve needed to be changed and vacuum to be done but couldn't confirm anything Nicks Pluming/AC was saying. They fixed the issue for there standard service call and if it keeps reoccuring the expansion valve and vacuum needs to be done. Do yourself a favor and if you have any AC issue call Efficient Polar Air!!! They saved me so much $$$$ by being honest and quick.
