For starters, the studio in goregous! It's in an repurposed warehouse space with other businesses. Beautiful hardwood floors, bright lights, plenty of space (with a nice area with a couch & coffee table & literature wall) & a booming sound system. You're greeted as soon as you walk in at the checkin / reception counter. Kadi Fit utilizes the key ring card as your membership card, so you'll scan it when you come in. Katie (the owner) & one of her employees, Emma, are welcoming, super sweet , & were great to talk to. They didn't pressure me into becoming a member tonight (which I'm going to join as soon as I get back into the working world). I got to the studio a little early, so I watched the Primal class, which looked almost like a prep course for boot camp. :D However, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves & pushing their bodies to the extreme. Now, for the kardio class. WOW, so much fun! 45 minutes of high energy cardio with a fantastic music soundtrack. Katie & Megan (I believe that was her name) took turns leading high impact dances moves & steps. I really enjoyed myself! There were a lot of women in this class, but we still had plenty of space to move - we sure needed it! Katie & Megan had us all over the floor. Katie not only offers a ton of class options, she also teaches lifestyle. Her online site features a blog with plenty of useful information. She made yoga cerebral, soulful, and beautiful. She focused on the HOW you do each pose. I like that she encouraged you to play and to LISTEN to your body during yoga. She was adept in giving simple and easy to follow directions and examples of variations and modifications. Her mini massages, nurturing touch, and adjustments were heavenly. It was evident she was very intuitive in reading a person's body and providing adjustments to give relief to whatever was tense or needed relief in one's body. The teacher was good but that was the only plus to this studio. No one knows how to book a private,the cost, etc and have to refer to Mallory (who acts like she is doing you a favor to do this). Computer program was not set up for their needs and has to get everything done with an override (which again only she can do with an attitude). Purposely double books room so that you get canceled out and has to refund you on a paid pass. Actively tries to get you to cut ties with studio if she has an issue with you. Does the owner know she is loosing money and clients this way ?? Poor representation for a studio and not very "yogi" at all !!!!
