He helped me assess whether it was more cost effective to repair or replace. He came out, fixed everything up and the total came in below estimate! His troubleshooting is incredible. When a later problem with the lights watchdogged the control board he diagnosed the problem to a single fuse over the phone. He sold me the fuse and showed me where to install it. I called 4M and explained that we were hosting a pool party the next day and asked for help. I was worried because it was still pool opening season and I knew it was a busy time. Charlie came out, assessed the situation, and told us our old pump motor had failed. He installed a new (and much better) motor, added chemicals to the pool and gave a few instructions (including call him if I had any questions or problems). The pool was so clear for the party that I never gave it another thought! A few years ago we had a really rainy winter and despite lowering the water level at closing, the water level reached the rim. Charlie came out and drained it back down at no charge. We were worried about it happening when we were out of town, so he recommended a small pump. Now I have peace of mind. Every season I count on 4M to open and close my pool, and I know they are always there to help if anything else happens. I tried several companies before I found their unparallelled service! A lot of he said she said why things were not done but never took responsibility. One person told me the pool was too cloudy to put the Polaris in and do a cleaning. Then another person told me we told them not to put the Polaris in and they did do the cleaning. But you said the pool was too cloudy to do the cleaning and put the Polaris in. So something just doesn't add up. The one person's solution was for us to pay them to come and do a cleaning at their normal rate.
