I received a call by the Owner of JD Power on March 26 , 2024 , following up with my request to speak with him on voice mail after listening to my message and reading my initial review . The owner was professional and stated he was not pleased with what had occurred to me and apologized for the whole situation . He then stated he wanted to make things right with me and what could he do to keep my business . I told him I am impressed he wanted to find a solution to make thigs right again and I said that after changing the battery in my Kohler Generator I was able to start it manually but lost the programing on the unit when I swapped out the battery. The owner then graciously offered to have a different technician then who I dealt with on the phone during the power outage and reprogrammed my Generator free of charge the next day . Needless to say I am going to now stay with JD Power Equipment for my generator maintenance and service . I believe the Owner is a man of his word and has made changes to insure Emergency Calls go to a Senior Manager who then will call and dispatch service technicians as received rather then have an on-call technician "cherry-pick" calls that are convenient for him . I can now say I would and will recommend JD Power Equipment to anyone needing a new generator or service on one .

I wasn't sure if I had access to the tank due to ice, and this is the only company that assured me if I had the lid handle exposed we could get to it. I requested to know how much it would cost for an after hours call (Saturday), expecting the price to be near double normal rate, to which the operator responded "an extra $25". When the problem turned out to be more severe than initially expected, the responding technician would not accept any payment, despite the 30+ minutes he attempted to clear the obstruction with the regular pump truck and metal bar. The responding technician offered to come out the next day (Sunday), despite the fact that his wife was actively going in to labor. I politely declined and requested we schedule for Monday instead, due to his situation. He showed up with more advanced equipment first thing Monday morning, and had the problem resolved within an hour. In addition to quickly repairing the problem, the technician took the time to explain the intricate workings of the system, proper maintenance, and steps I can try to take on my own to correct an issue before calling someone (This instance was severe, I would not have been able to correct without a professional). Excellent experience, and I hope that I can find a similar company for all my home needs.

Jack's demolition team,under Brad, communicated clearly when they would arrive, describe their daily work, and respected our property. The work area was left so that we could resume a normal daily lifstyle. Jack was there onsite thruout the demolition cycle of the project as was the project manager, Tom. As Brad and team completed the demolition cycle, Jeff, who would be completing the base flooring, tiling and grouting was the consummate professional. Apparently being bought out by Wind River means making money by any means they can scam their customers.
