The space was perfect for the teens, it has several full size video games and a pool table inside as well. I ta has no real kitchen, but does have a refrigerator. My only gripe is there was no place to put the extra tables we were not using, so they were constantly visible. I was a little overwhelmed by all the" rules" of the place, but understandably so. That part stressed me out. I would definately rent again but a 2 day rental instead so I could take my time cleaning up and completely enjoy the party without worrying about the time.

Upstairs, the Ballroom was used in the old days for special social events, especially during the '30's and '40's. That is where our event was held and it was a really roomy space. Loved the well kept hardwood floors and the plaster friezes and frescoes of cherubs and musical instruments that adorn the 20-foot ceilings. This grand room, with its birch floors, is painted in warm, rosy tones to evoke a sense of well being, a priority during the "Gay Nineties". At night, it is nicely lit up.

We managed a makeshift to go bag but can't understand why they were willing to throw it out rather than have them take it home to be eaten by dogs.

All tables were seated and then released at the same time, which created complete chaos. There was no direction, no clear flow, and no communication. Two lines formed for the buffet, but there wasn't nearly enough space to accommodate everyone. At the carving station, both lines collided and people had to awkwardly cross over each other just to access different items. The food itself was also underwhelming. Several of the vegetables were undercooked, and overall the quality did not meet expectations for a holiday brunch. To add to the frustration, I asked for milk for my mom's coffee (she can't have cream), and after about 10 minutes, we were told there was no milk anywhere in the building. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience--especially for a special occasion like Easter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Huge shoutout to Dean for arranging everything and absolutely crushing the food and overall experience. I had friends and family come in from all over the country and everyone left impressed and in love with Rhode Island. I keep saying I just need to get a boat and become a member hahaha. The event is free and open to the public, registration not required. There was a sign on Westminster Street indicating the entrance. The Pavilion at Grace Church exhibited iconic photographs taken by the late Life Magazine photographer David Lees that document the flood in Florence in 1966 and the Providence Journal photos of downtown Providence after Hurricane Carol in 1954. The photographs were dramatic and memorable of each city underwater. There were plenty of space to walk around and take in the photos.

Wow it's so sad to see what this place has turned into. This is in regard to mini-golf only…read more A long time ago this was a very busy and popular spot. Now it looks kind of like creepy. The volcano used to erupt with fire which was so cool, each hole was very clean and now half of the plates around the holes move and can be lifted right up, most of the bricks around the areas are either not in tack and you can easily trip or hurt yourself on them or they're removed. It looks so rundown and some of the rocks on the green are even like broken. (Wish I would've took pictures) and before, at the end you would put your ball in this maze type thing and if it landed in the middle (kind of like plinko) you won another game, they did away with that awhile ago not sure why. So they have 2 paths you can go when you mini-golf. The volcano way or the boat way. They all need fixing and repairing. We just made the best of it but you got families getting bored and they just skip to the other path mid-way because they're impatient (they have rules posted not to do this). The family in front of us was using their time to hit water bottles around. It sucks because I used to love it here but it's like a ghost town, and with the prices they don't match the experience. Unfortunately there's no point in coming back unless they fix all these issues. I only gave 2 stars because the kids working there are just sweet and trying to make an honest living and I love that for them.
