But…read moreI had 10 mins to kill on that side of town and stopped in to Burlington Coat Factory to get a peep at the (former) food court, see my photos. I'm excited to see the finished product. Burlington has had significant renovations already and has tons more floor space (new layout). Don't even get me started on the amazing deals I got on light blocking drapes (set of 2, 84" for $12!!!). Color me excited. Can't wait!

It's been a great marriage ever since. There's a branch library, community center and a Tax Collector/Tag/Driver License office. There's a Starbucks on the perimeter. A fitness center, nails, massage and a church. Country Kitchen is there too. The former Asian take out place will soon be a Mexican restaurant. I keep hoping that the remaining empty spaces will become more restaurants but we shall see. The parking lot is a relatively easy in and out and there is plenty of parking. There is a Taltran bus stop with cover and a flex bus option is available to get you to this hub. You just have to call them in advance to schedule a ride. For those taking the driving test there is a marked parking space that sees a lot of drivers practicing.

There is a movie cinema, Dollar Tree, Boot Barn and such. Casual and fast food restaurants face US-90. The Bass Pro tolerates overnight RV parking, which is always a plus. The lot is a little sloped but that was quickly solved with two leveling cubes. Decent shade and the landscaping is well maintained. Still, parking lots are a big draw for bad people so be sure your doors are locked and keep valuables out of sight. In waiting for a…read morefriend to have lunch at Leon's, I took the opportunity to do a bit of browsing, and came out with several pieces of clothing! Loved the vibes of this place. The cashiers/workers are super nice and just very friendly. There are various items from which to choose - from clothing, to candles, to jewelry - all quite unique. I saw several items that would make perfect Christmas gifts for some family members and plan to go back when I have time to peruse the entire selection of merchandise. I am a fan!
