I did a walk through of this school while doing a construction project. I was impressed. I heard it's very expensive though.

Note-the tent sites didn't offer a ton of privacy, it was kind of open. It was very close to two bathrooms. It was very quiet. We were so impressed upon arrival. Everything was well marked and clean. The general store has a little bit of everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered a lot of family friendly activities. We were there during their harvest festival weekend. They offered hay rides and cider and donuts by their bon fire the first night we were there. Almost all of their activities are included. They charge a fee for their zip lines. They offer free pedal bike usage alongwith boat usage. It is conveniently located to Niagara Falls. They offer late check-in and even check in for folks who don't have a reservation, if they have availability Saturday morning the store opened at 9 AM a little late for us since we were on the road by 845. We were hoping to buy acup of coffee (they have $2 K-cups).

I did reach out to them to inform them I would be arriving late and they gave us instructions to follow for after hours. The only thing that was had to follow were the signed. Rainy Tuesdays are no match for this place! We were here on vacation and needed plans for the day…read more Friendship Fortress has a Tuesday deal where adults are free (normally $5) with a paying child ($15). Prices are very fair for everything included, especially since you're allowed to stay all day and you have re-entry on the daily pass. They do sell extremely limited food options, but with the re-entry you could easily go for food and come back. No outside food is allowed except water and baby formula. Fair. The amenities inside are perfect for toddler to elementary aged kids. When I asked my daughters if they liked it they said "Five stars! They even had a volcano slide! How cool is that?" It is really cool, to be honest. They also had a zip line, a ball pit, a rope bridge and imagination play. AND you can do all of this dressed like a princess. Every time I turned around my daughter was dressed in a different costume. We spent three hours here, no problem. They also advertised birthday parties, and a summer camp options. Everything was thoughtfully planned, from sanitizer stations and step stools in the bathrooms, to locker/cubbies for storing shoes and other belongings. Heads up! Socks are required for everyone- even parents. One minor issue was limited seating for adults who weren't playing, but thankfully that wasn't an issue late on a Tuesday evening. We had a blast here, and for $30 it was an easy outing for the wallet.

Food, crumbs and empty juice boxes on the ground. Toys and surfaces look like they are never cleaned and super unsanitary (especially with cold and flu season approaching). When I walked in there was no one at the front and I wasn't greeted at all. It was my first time coming and I was not impressed at all.

The care givers are warm and kind. My daughter came home chatting away and happy every time. What impressed me most was the effort the caregivers put into the project for the children. My daughter came home with a beautifully and creatively made projects. Some included hand and footprints, and others were even laminated. You can tell the teachers spent a lot of time and effort working with basic materials to create something sweet. They went out of their way when they didn't have to. There were trips to the wading pool and visits from firefighters. When it was too cold to go outside, the teachers brought the snow in for the kids to play with. Very sweet center.

My 5 / 6 year old, despite being fairly athletic, wasn't able to do at least half of them due to the need to stretch far, be taller, etc. If you go on a super slow open gym time, there's usually plenty of employees working who are willing to help... but I did find that some of them really have no idea how to interact with smaller kids. (one was using phrases like "Gravitational pull" and "momentum" when trying to explain things to a 4 year old... ehhhhhhhh) Also, CAN WE PLEASE GET A CHANGING TABLE HERE? For heaven's sakes, it's the middle of winter and no one wants to change a poopy diaper on the floor of a bathroom. It's a KIDS' GYM. That means parents are bringing their families here --- please be 100% family friendly and put a couple changing tables in the bathrooms. Please please please. I wouldn't pay full price, but with a Groupon it's a nice day out of the house when you're stuck inside during winter. Oh, also, BRING YOUR OWN POWDER. Because sweaty little kid hands + hanging obstacles = blisters and ripped open palms. Take my word on it.
