The owner is fantastic and up on everything that goes on at the farm, very involved and approachable. The instructors are great and there is someone for every level, whether you just want to ride for fun or progress up the levels to compete. The indoor arena is huge and the footing is like you are riding on a cushion. The outdoor is just as nice. The pastures are huge for what is to be expected in the area and always have grass. All the horses are well cared for. The lesson horses are awesome! You can learn something different from each one... Merlin being my personal favorite :) I would definitely recommend Brookfield to anyone looking to board their horse or take lessons.

I drive past this farm a couple of times a week. It's absolutely beautiful, and so are the horses that roam the fields here. I've only been on to the facility a couple of times, but everyone was friendly and it was a five-star facility all the way. Their employees are wonderful, their facilities are top notch, their horses are beautiful, and Steven Spielberg himself has several ponies here. Okay I can't back up the Spielberg claim, but that's how magical this place is. I could not recommend it more highly to anyone with horses that need a home.

The Clarence Senior Center is my mom's home-away-from-home. She's 80 and I don't know what she or I…read morewould do without this fantastic place! The senior center's director is an amazing woman who really cares about not just her job, but for those for whom she does this job. And the activities director is also pretty fantastic. She makes sure the seniors have movie nights, exercise classes, relevant guest speakers, and even fun trips. There are a lot of volunteer opportunities at the senior center as well. The building is sometimes used as a shelter during storms, and some of the seniors will volunteer to work during these times. In addition, it's used as a polling place, where many seniors find opportunities to serve their community. My mom also volunteers in the kitchen sometimes helping to prepare meals, at the front desk, and wherever else there's a need. She has delivered meals for Meals on Wheels through a program at the Clarence Senior Center. Every month we get a newsletter in the mail that outlines all the great programs that are available to members. Some things are there every month: weekly Bingo, Pinochle, Wood working, and a few other things. But then sometimes there are local trips, like to the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute and restaurant. They occasionally have mystery tours as well, where the travelers signed up don't know where they are going until they get there. Those are always fun trips (I know because my mom has asked me to join her on a few of them). If you've got a parent or loved one who is looking for somewhere they can go to play cards or Bingo or just to hang out and meet other seniors, this is a safe and welcoming environment. My son really enjoys checking out the replica storefronts as this playground boasts a tiny main street of popular establishments in the village. We visited on a summer weekday and there were about 4 families at 9:30am. I have heard that it can sometimes get crowded, but it's no surprise because of how nice it is. There are also bathroom facilities on site as well that can be accessed from the outside. I believe there is a family restroom as well.

This summer, an instructor convinced my 10 years old to switch lessons to Legacy. My daughter loved the facility, looked up to the instructors and was promised more challenging lessons. Unfortunately almost weekly, the instructors canceled or rescheduled our agreed upon time. They changed a private lesson to group lesson without discussion or price adjustment. They increased the price of a private lesson on us with in weeks of starting. Multiple times, we showed up for lessons and discovered the instructor absent. The lack of care and responsibility the instructors demonstrated towards my daughter and the heartbreak they caused ultimately led us to leaving the center.

I came as a visitor once, and saw some of the conditions of the horses, and did not like it at all. One of their former employees was awesome and took good care of the horses and really cared about them, but I'm definitely not a fan of the way they treated her, nor the horses. I highly recommend the stable on Salt - Brookfield - over this place, if you want your horse to live in luxury and to be treated the way your horse deserves. I was last here maybe 18 months ago. I am sure I will find that I will be back one of these days.

The fields are kept up nicely, there is also a basketball court and a playground. Though the playground doesn't have swings which....come on...how do you not have swings? Lol There is a building for bathrooms and snack bar. The bathrooms are open all summer but the snack bar is only open for tournaments. It's a great place to practice soccer by yourself or with a team as there are often so many fields that you don't always have to reserve space.
