So we planned everything via emails and some zoom calls, and yet planning felt seamless! Throughout planning Cherise made sure to remind us when we needed to select certain aspects of the wedding by (photographer, florals, decor, catering, etc.). Always patient with our indecisiveness, but she gave us ideas and options if we asked. She also made sure everything was decided by us, no pressure by her on utilizing specific vendors. We really liked that she gave us freedom with honest opinions and facts (like if it'll be in our price range, where we can take photos, venue rules, etc.). On the wedding day, she made sure we (the bride and groom) were TOP priority. We felt like we barely saw her, but she was always around for you. This review is embarrassingly overdue, as we have just celebrated our 3rd anniversary. But I can still say that the service we got from Lori and her team were excellent. Lori has a time tested process for gathering information for all her weddings, and the planning and organization of all aspects leading up to the event were great. There were a million decisions we had to make while planning our wedding, and Lori guided us through this process all the way through- flowers, tables and chairs, music, food, drinks, wardrobe, makeup, etc. etc. And once the day arrived, Lori and team were on-site from dawn to dusk, ensuring that the plan we so carefully prepared was executed flawlessly. Her goal is for the wedding couple to enjoy their day, without having to lift a finger and to be completely stress-free. I think we appreciated that the most (especially after seeing how stressed many of our friends were at their own weddings because they didn't have Lori!) Only after our wedding did we discover from our guests how much work was done behind the scenes- such as a guest breaking a glass on the beach, the wrong type of table being delivered to our site in the morning, lights not having been hung correctly. I may never know the full extent of that work, but I do know that Lori's team took care of it. Because of that, I cannot recommend Aloha Wedding Planning Services. Although Veronica, our planner, was lovely and personable, the service we received on our wedding day did not reflect a 5-star experience. Given that we paid $4,000, I expected much higher quality. If the cost had been lower, I can confidently say I would not have been as upset by the small details that didn't go perfectly.
