I've been here twice. The employees are always super friendly and attentive. They always stop by your table and ask if you need anything despite it not being a restaurant style place. The first time I ordered 2 street tacos on corn tortilla. They are the mini sized tortillas not the regular so keep that in mind when ordering. They were very good and the salsa was just as good! I always go for the green salsa which has just the right amount of kick to it. The second time I got the personal ground beef nachos. This is a pretty big portion so you could probably share with someone! The only thing with this visit is that it was a busy time and the place is very small so seating is limited. So......months later in my own opinion they have gone down in quality and turning into the "typical Tex-Mexican food" that I can get anywhere. I wish I had comparison pictures of the food served in the first two months open and now. I always got the Diablo taco's mixed ( beef and chicken ) but the last time I tried this there was a one piece of chicken that was rubbery. Not sure if this is a supplier issue or not but have seen this at other restaurants as well sometimes. Jimica slaw garnish/topping with the wings that was just amazing replaced with some sad wilted shaved carrots. These issues seem like cost-cutting issues. Hey if you have to raise the cost a little to keep your quality up then I am all for paying more. Staff is still great and very attentive to your needs but we need to go back to the beginning months that brought us in and kept us coming back. I could care less about the beer and Margarita's ....concentrate on the food! Once a week visits have now turned into once a month and based on the emptiness of the restaurant at 6:30 pm it looks like I am not alone. I placed an order from Grubhub and had some issues with the driver that grubhub was no willing to resolve to my satisfaction and Mariana and Rhonda stepped up and made sure I received my order. I was told about this place from my sister and I was disappointed. I ordered 2 barbocoa tacos which were cold and the meat was dry. I also had some charro beans with no flavor at all. My queso was very chaulky and nasty some of the worst I've ever had. We didn't even bother with the barboco tacos after tasting one. I ate my beef taco which was just OK. The only thing I would say is worth getting from here is the fried avacodo rolls. I did notify the young lady at the front desk I was never offered a refund, only was told I could receive a fajita meal upon returning. This place really specializes in their tacos. The diablo tacos and the yucatecan tacos are a must try. Great flavor and very savory. 5/5 However, I would just order the tacos. After my 2nd visit, it isnt a fluke. This place is outstanding. The chips/salsa, tacos, mexican rice and queso were amazing. It is a very small place and is very fast casual, but its very nice. The bathrooms were updated and very clean. Their drink offerings are a boutique brand that offers unique flavors and actually has no high fructose corn syrup or dyes, which is a very nice change from the usual Coke/Pepsi. Well where do I start...this food was awesome!! We had the trash can nachos!! They were huge, so much food!! Not only was it a lot of food, it was good as well! We also had the California burrito - it was also very very good!! If you are hungry this would fill you up and then some! Finally we had the beef fajita tacos, tortillas were real and homemade and fajita meat was sweet but very good!
