Ground beef , birria, and brisket are all incredible with brisket being my personal favorite. Between the fajita and chicken tinga, the fajita wins as the tinga is very lightly seasoned. all of the salsas are delicious ,with a nice kick. Can't expect much from a suburban taco spot, but I was very disappointed by the lack of flavor from the al pastor and steak. The barbacoa was the better of the three, but barely. Queso is just straight up velveeta with not much else. And the men's bathroom has an issue where you can't lift the seat without keeping it up with your hand. How is this not bothering the workers? So we really like this place. We've pretty much just had street tacos. The Tuesday taco special is a great deal, I think $1.75 each? Maybe more depending on meat. They come with onion and cilantro and lime on the side. They provide 3 sauces, mild to hot! We pretty much pick up and try to order ahead. Here's the issue, they are pretty much always under staffed. The guy at the register wraps up to go orders, takes phone orders, delivers orders, makes margaritas, and is the nicest guy ever. Today when I called I was disconnected first, call then didn't go thru twice then put on hold for 3 minutes. I was almost there by the time I put in my order. So I waited a bit, went in and used the restroom and then got in line. The guy helped someone, took a phone orders put in the order of the lady ahead of me, finalized my order and delivered a margarita. There were 2 guys in back I could see cooking. Got a California chicken fajita burrito around 8pm tonight. The veggies and guac were fresh enough. However, there was barely any chicken in the burrito at all. If I had to measure, probably 1/4 cup worth, spread through the entire burrito. There was nothing fajita about them, they were tiny chunks which I struggled to taste through all of the rice (the majority of the filling), and even the rice was hard and stale. It was not the classic deep fried chimichanga that I'm used to. It was actually really soft and kind of soggy. I should've known since they usually take a lot longer to prepare! The meat in the chimi was pretty bland too. Final thoughts You could give it a try if you want something quick to eat. It's edible, but probably not somewhere I would revisit. They gave us the food in to-go boxes and said their "system" says to-go and they can't change it to plates.
