(Date of writing: 5/17/22). Long Hollow has unfortunately become a shell of it's former self. As a…read morefriend once said, "there's plenty of gatherers, not enough cultivators". The church puts so much time & effort into getting you to come to church and "committing your life to Christ" (which in itself isn't a bad thing) that it forgets an important detail: You have to CULTIVATE the seeds, ensure they grow. In my experience with the church, while they accepted me into their family, the church itself (with a few exceptions) did not help me to grow in my faith, and in fact pushed me away in several instances. The worship experience they put together each week, while glamourous and flashy, doesn't feel real. It feels scripted, and fake. Staff is moved around every other month, you never feel like you can get a personal relationship with anyone because they are always being moved around, not to mention there are so many of them. The one positive I must give to Long Hollow is the facility they have built, and continue to built. It is one of the best in the region, boasting a sanctuary of ~2,000 capacity and an overflow/chapel of ~200 more, a coffee shop, a building dedicated entirely to the students with 2 more sanctuaries, and soon to be a "community" area. In conclusion, whilst Long Hollow does have the physical amenities required to support it's large population, it lacks in several key elements that are absolutely necessary of a church. I cannot in good faith recommend Long Hollow to anyone.

Pastor Jeremy is amazing . He makes service fun and is very relatable. All the pastors here are angels. I've been prayed over and held by them along with other volunteers through a dark time and healed in so many ways spiritually. I was also baptized here after a long 2 year journey back to God. The attendees are very welcoming and service is filled with the Holy Spirit. I can see it and feel it, every service. They accept you as you are with open arms. God called me home and this just happened to be the church that made that possible for me. Thank you , Cornerstone !

The church offered many different kinds of small group opportunities. Parking lot volunteers were helpful in making sure you receive assistance, if necessary or desired. I was let down by a post-service encounter. One of the prayer partners (older woman with a Karen haircut) gave me a withering up-and-down look of disdain in the restroom during one of my Sunday morning visits. I was wearing a knee-length Boden dress, not tight jeans with a muffin top. That incident alone did not dissuade me, but it didn't help.

Hicks, who works with the awesome talent of our small choir and makes their voices multiply. We are a family, one that enjoys embracing others and giving comfort. It's a young congregation with an old, nurturing soul. If you want to learn about African drumming or Dance, you're in luck because we have excellent, patient instructs who work with students from 3 to 100 years old. Cute Church in Hendersonville, TN…read more Came here for a wedding. Plenty of parking available. The Pastor and Deacons even get their own reserved spots. It's a small and beautiful church. The building is kept clean and organized. The Pastor is very kind and knowledgeable. Their dinning area is in a separate building right beside the church. Restrooms are incredibly clean. It was a beautiful wedding of two very beautiful people.
