Unfortunately, in the case of Tide cleaners (Oswego, Illinois) I find it necessary to leave a poor review in hopes someone from Tide will read this and finally contact me. I brought this leather/suede jacket in to be cleaned. Tide sends my item to an outside company, I wait a couple of weeks to get the jacket back, charged $47 and receive the same dirty garment in return. I've been promised someone will call me for more than a month. I've made three trips to the store each time being told nobody there can help me. "They can't give a refund and someone will contact me". Yet, I wait and wait and wait. Tired of getting nothing but the runaround here. Please see pictures of the garment they charged $47 to clean.

I haven't been in a while but when I needed 5 pairs of athletic pants hemmed and 3 pairs of jeans taken in, I decided to stop in because I know they've always been reliable in the past. Normally, it's a man working but when I came in there were two very nice girls. I was able to try my pants on and have the seamstress pin where they needed to be taken in or shortened. After each pair she asked me if I was happy with how they were sitting or they felt which I thought was nice. Because I had so many pairs of pants I thought it was going to be at least a week before I'd have to come pick them up. They told me to come back 2 days later which I was surprised at. I went to pick them up today, the same two girls were working and again, were very sweet to interact with. I got my pants, came home and tried all of them on. I'm happy with all of the pairs of pants except for one that I had taken in to fit tighter. The seems are just slightly off but it's probably not that noticeable unless you're looking for it. Not the biggest deal but still a little disappointing, but it won't stop me from coming here since they're so close and they do a nice job. For each pair of pants it was $15 to hem, and $20 to get taken in.

We specifically requested that the top of the dress be taken in and that the hem be shortened. After being told the alterations were complete, we picked up the dress and found that the top had not been altered and the hem was uneven and noticeably choppy. We brought the dress back to have these issues addressed, but after another attempt, the dress still was not properly altered and the overall appearance was worse. We paid $150 for the alterations and were very disappointed with the quality of the work, especially considering this was a $700 prom dress. They do offer a snack vending machine. But the drinks are not kept cold. My only problem with this place is that it is somewhat dark inside. And the lights shut off automatically 10 to 15 minutes before closing time of 9 PM.
