I came with my daughter to Grace Clinic and I decided to wait in lobby for her. While I was there waiting I observed the employees who wait at the front desk to assist the people that come in. They were always right there helping at the door or with the wheelchair assistance or directing and/or taking you where you needed to go. Very friendly staff. Always have a smile. This is the best clinic in town to come to. And their coffee was very good at the Cafe Grace. read more

Very slow service. I've been waiting to be seen for 5 hours now. On the plus side, I've caught up on a bunch of my budget spreadsheets. I've seen over 5 people leave before being called. The people here seem nice, but I've been too sick to actually get to know them. If you're looking for terribly slow service while you throw your guts up, then this is your place. I was told this was the only medical clinic in Lubbock by a friend, if this is true, then I will gladly drive to another city to get medical help. These folks asked if I wanted a flu shot at my check up. I asked if it would cist any more than at a pharmacy, the nurse replied I do not know. Well a week later I received a bill for $163.78. Vaccine administration $43.20, Immunization admin counsel $49.75 which consists of them handing you 2 pages to read and giving you a few minutes to read them. Two vaccines at $37.87 and $33.00 respectively. And I could have received all of this for $30.00 or less at a pharmacy. When I called and questioned the bill they asked if I had insurance it could be billed to. I can only assume they feel like it is ok to gouge our insurance companies. No wonder we pay so much for insurance. read more

We've had Dr Hannel as our physician for several years and he's an outstanding primary care physician. His staff is outstanding and very friendly. I had to come here while visiting family- we live near Houston. We were here just after 8am and while everyone was very nice, the wait time was pretty ridiculous. We were there over 2 hours, and for being second in line, that's pretty ludicrous. I'm sure that being sick and having a sick child doesn't help, but it seems they have lots of room for improvement as far as time management/ patient waiting time. read more

I have been coming to Grace Clinic for a couple of years. I'll be honest and say I really haven't had any issues with the doctors although getting appointments and actually seeing a doctor is difficult. The lab and billing department however is a whole different story. Grace Clinic presents themselves as a benevolent clinic that helps keep medical care costs down by doctors not having to rent space. However I was billed 1300.00 at Grace Clinic for a pregnancy test that costs me 15.00 from a UMC healthcare provider. Why? Because I was tested for multiple things without consent, given tests that were irrelevant to my health, and up charged on every test administered. When I calculated what would have been a reasonable bill for a blood test of this type and what was screened at most I should have seen a bill at 450.00. That is almost a 1000.00 in charges that I should not be responsible for. The person who I have been communicating to in regards to my bill and likely anyone else who they would transfer me to were completely unwilling to work with me or offer a more reasonable price for services. I am done with Grace Clinic, and I am done with Covenant Health. I cannot afford to be ripped off like this. I do not recommend. read more

I have never had a bad experience at Grace and I've been quite a few times! My PCP was Jared Brinker for a while and he was great! The only reason I had to stop going to him is because my insurance wouldn't cover the labs there. There is quite a wait sometimes, but its because I was a walk-in. Was scheduled to have an appt today with my PCP. I waited 2 months for this appt which already seemed a little ridiculous and when I got there for my appt learned that the Dr had cancelled all his appts for the day. No one at Grace bothered to call and let me know or offer to get me in with another provider. I was told I had to call the scheduling service to reschedule. I did so, and was told the next available appt was in August!! Are you kidding me?! That is unacceptable! Just go somewhere else, these people clearly do not care about their patients. I am very pleased with this medical facility. My appointments are usually scheduled within a reasonable amount of time, and the wait time during my appointments are generally reasonable as well. I've experienced unpleasant receptionists and/ or nursing staff only a small fraction of the time. It is nice having different specialists and the lab under one roof. Of all places to be nice and have a good attitude toward people. Not to mention they have the WORST attitudes of anyone at Grace Clinic. The only reason to keep coming back to Grace clinic is because I'm already established with my two doctors that are there. Otherwise, I do not like coming here. The support staff isn't friendly and you can wait in a hall for hours waiting for someone to appear out of one of the hundreds of doors that line the hallways. If your chart is taken to the wrong doctor you could literally wait for hours for someone to discover the mistake because there isn't anyone around to ask questions to. This happened to me on one visit. Great doctors....bad concept. read more

I've experience very poor service from a few doctors and NP that seem so rushed, you don't feel they give you adequate time. You are only allowed to have one "chief" complaint when you go to the walk in clinic, so be careful what you say at the beginning or they won't take the time to listen to everything going on with you. I've have also had a misdiagnosis that resulted in surgery. Take your time with patients, they are paying for a service. read more

I used to love this place, but I would never go again. My friend had bad news from her test results which she was informed with Friday evening over a message and had to wait till Tuesday to find out what was wrong. She was sobbing all weekend then couldn't even to speak to anyone on Monday when she called. The emotional trauma was ridiculous. Then when I tried to talk to someone about how they should leave bad news over a message I was hung up on. Hate this place now. Will never come back. read more

My husband had a knee replacement. I have no complaints about the surgeon. But the nursing care left much to be desired. My husband had a pain level of 8-9 and he waited an hour for pain meds. We called 3 times trying to get someone to send the nurse in with meds even asking on the third time for someone else to bring the meds. When the nurse showed up she did not have the meds and had to stop and update the whiteboard with the correct date and names on it before she left the room to get the meds. I nearly screamed with irritation! When she did return all we heard was how hard it was to do her job because she was so overloaded with patients. (I heard they had 4 per nurse) I will never willingly subject any of my family to that level of care again. read more

I came to Grace Clinic for OB/GYN services. First, the Grace Clinic Lab sent all of my initial maternity blood screening to a 3rd party laboratory that was out-of-network for my insurance without my knowledge or consent (or my doctor's knowledge). I only realized it when I started getting bills for thousands of dollars. Then, they sent my genetic screening blood work to the same out-of network laboratory after my doctor and I specifically discussed sending it to a different in-network lab. Finally, at my last appointment my OB's office insisted that I pay a deposit equal to my deductible for the year to cover the cost of the rest of my appointments, labor and delivery. BUT they didn't mention that they would not apply this money towards my deductible until after the baby is born months from now. So now I still have to pay every other doctor, lab, radiologist I see until then because my deductible hasn't been met while they hold on to my money and maybe, many months from now, I will get a refund from somebody. My past pregnancy didn't cost me a dime out-of pocket and this one has already cost me thousands of dollars and I have months to go. I would never recommend this clinic for maternity care. read more

Giving one star not for the clinic but for a certain employee. My wife had a problem and went to see her primary care physician at the 50th Street location. We there a little before 8:00 am and waited till the office opened. The lady who checks in patients first of all arrived at about 8:05. No big deal. She saw us waiting, said hello, then went into her with area and proceeded for the next 10 minutes to show another lady who works there photos on her phone. When she finally stops that, my wife goes to the window and says she needs to see her doctor but does not have an appointment. The lady proceeds to yell at my wife basically, chastising her for not having an appointment and says "the last time we did this, I got in trouble for squeezing you in. If she gets upset again, you will have to go to the walk in clinic". So my wife says the hell with it, we will just go to the walk in clinic, which we did. This woman has absolutely no business working for a doctor. She had zero idea how severe my wife's problem was, which obviously was not great as she was trying to see her doctor without an appointment. This woman is rude, condescending, and to be blunt, a complete bitch. She has NO business working at Grace clinic, and she should be fired immediately. Again, this post is not about Grace clinic, as the care we both receive there is excellent. If I could give this woman negative stars, I would. read more

My last visit to Grace Clinic was beyond terrible. I went in for a bad chest cold and rash. The nurse practitioner I received care from seemed busy and careless. He wanted me in and out and treated me with the typical antibiotics and shot. It turned out that the type of antibiotics that he prescribed has possible side effects with another medication that I was currently taking. It was clearly stated in my medical charts that he had access to. He then diagnosed me with shingles which turned out to be eczema. I wound up stopping all medication immediately and contacting the staff at Grace Clinic which never returned my phone messages. So I am out money for etremely poor medical care and prescriptions that were not safe or needed. read more

I have been going to Grace since it opened. I followed Dr Nall from his former practice. I love having most of my doctors in one building and they all have immediate access to my records. Dr Crossnoe has always listened to my concerns and never hesitated to refer me to a specialist if he or I thought it was necessary. Dr Vasandani and his staff are the best Rheumatology place in Lubbock. I was so excited when they joined Grace. I see several negative reviews and I hate that they had such a bad experience. Everybody has a bad day and I hope they try again so they can see the positive sides of Grace that I see. read more

I have been trying to get a call back from the Infusion Center for two weeks now. I used to get excellent care here, but lately it has gone down hill fast. I am not a walkin -I am a regular patient. My oncologist recently left town so now I guess they don't want me anymore. My new doctor order labs and when I went in to do them they said they didn't have an order for it-it was on the paper I had in my hand which was a copy of what they got! very disappointed in recent care. read more

They are a great medical facility and good doctors... BUT the billing department needs to hire smarter people. I have received 4 bills for different amounts for the same visit. One was $76, one was $143, another was $186 and another was $203... so which one is it? Which one do I pay? And I have really good insurance that I only pay 20% and I had already met my deductible... so I'm supposed to pay them $608 for a visit that should have only cost me a copay and a little bit later... no. don't think so. If they would learn how to bill correctly, maybe doctors and practitioners would stick around and maybe you would have more patients. Learn to bill and your business will grow. because I was tired of paying different amounts and kept getting bills, I stopped paying them- not my credit has been affected. They wasted 2 months of my wifes time and after we finally got a appointment, they called right back and canceled it because of her having a stimulater. THEY HAD HER RECORDS FOR 2 MONTHS. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in healthcare. I was transferred multiple times and sent to voicemail a handful of times. No one wants to help you and just give you the run around sending you to voicemail every time. The only way to get someone to help you is by going in person. When speaking to a secretary as to why I was not notified that I needed to schedule an appointment she said "thats not my job sweetheart". I understand that is not your job, but to answer that way instead of helping me find the right person to contact is completely unprofessional. My wife had orthopedic surgery performed by a Grace Clinic doctor. The surgery went well, but the follow up care was handled very poorly. The surgeon was very clear that her surgery has a long recovery time, and that she was going to be uncomfortable, but would not prescribe anything stronger than Tylenol with codien for pain. When asked about something stronger, since tylenol with codien doesn't work for everybody, he said that he couldn't/wouldn't prescribe anything stronger, but that she should see a pain management doctor with the Grace System. Thing is, Grace Pain Management doctors want referrals, and her surgeon has kept her waiting over two weeks for the referral. She can't go to her PCP, as he suggested, because her PCP is not the treating physician - so she's been in pain for over two weeks and still waiting... read more

I went to the grace clinic to get some test results. I discussed with doctor O'Neil at the end of our appt to see if he could test my urine for something different from what we originally tested for. He agreed that he would. I got out of school so I wasn't able to get the results till I came back for the summer. I come back and turns out doctor O'Neil didn't document the 2nd test I ask him to order. So someone in lab told me to give them another urine sample so they could put the order in to come to find out from a nurse the next day over a very disrespectful phone call that also can't use that sample because O'Neil still can't put an order in for it and tried to push me to go see another doctor. It really shouldn't be hard to run test and have a polite discussion about what needs to get done with some humility from the nurses. Instead I get sassed. Every time I go to the grace clinic I get attitude from the nurses. They talk down to me and are very sarcastic. read more

I wish I could give it zero stars, I attended Grace clinic 3 times and all three times I waited 2 hours, was only allowed to see and RN, and then all three times they did nothing to help me get better or gave me the wrong medication that then caused more health problems. I will never return here. I was given inaccurate medical information from my doctor, then they neglected to call me back for a month after a procedure. Eventually I consulted with another doctor and they told me that I should find somewhere else to get care because the information that I got was very wrong. It also took months to get the files transferred from Grace clinic to my other doctor. I would highly recommend going somewhere else. read more

I went to the gynecologist here, but was seen by a NP instead--Brooke Dora. I went in to get a UTI test, but she wanted to swab me to check for a yeast infection as well. I was NEVER informed that this swab would be sent to another location to test for an entire PANEL, meaning multiple tests. I am an uninsured college student--I would have refused this test if I was informed correctly. I was told that my visit fee would cover the costs of the tests and I paid separately for the UTI test. However, a few weeks later, I got a bill in the mail from a lab in another state for over $250! The lab told me to call Grace Clinic if I did not agree to these tests, and I tried countless times. I called Grace Clinic and left about 7 voicemails with the Gyno nurse's station and NEVER received a call back. Also, I never even received my test results!! They never communicated anything to me and the medical problem did not go away. This went on for weeks. After being threatened from the lab with a final warning to pay or I would be sent to collections, I finally got through to the nurses station at Grace Clinic. The nurse was cold and heartless about the entire situation, acting like I was in the wrong for not knowing they would send for an entire panel of tests. After this frustrating phone call that left me in tears, I ended up having to pay for the tests at the off-site lab. I will NEVER return to Grace Clinic again. This place is money-hungry and if you are uninsured, you will be required to pay an arm and a leg for bad treatment and poor communication. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic whatsoever, regardless of your circumstances!! read more

My doctor of many years closed her office and I followed her nurse practitioner there. I was told and signed a release form to transfer my medical records there. At my first visit i was told that they just didn't have enough staff to be able to complete the transfer of records. They started me a new record and after only 1 visit i had to call them back at least a four times about my perscriptions because they chose the wrong meds from thier pick list. Each time I called the were rude and insinuated that the error was my fault. By the fourth call I was somewhat agitated. Then they had the gall to send me a certified letter saying they didn't want me as a patient anymore. Well good riddance I say and I wouldn't recommend that anyone get healthcare there. They don't even deserve 1 star! I will gladly pursue healthcare for myself and my family elsewhere! read more

I have been to this place for a kidney stone, for an MRI, for a CT, for several emergencies. Doctors are primarily incompetent and brutal, always after performing expensive and unnecessary surgeries. If you need to be seen in the walk in clinic, from a flu to more severe conditions, they will take you in 10 minutes but they will not treat you competently. Doctors of very poor training (mostly locals) and poor quality - and nurses are rude and treat you with a harsh attitude. When you are in pain they do NOT help you and actually they could not care less. You will leave offended and more hurt than when you entered. All they care about: making money out of your suffering. read more
