I have spent hours of my life trying to rectify a mistake they have made on my mortgage by estimating my taxes this year to be double what they were last year. This was a calculation they did and are now refusing to make the change until the city officially announces the tax rates, which means I have to pay almost double my mortgage until that happens. This is absolutely unacceptable. Any mortgage servicing agent should have looked at this and known right away it was a mistake. Not only are they not acknowledging their mistake, but they have been rude and completely unhelpful. If I were you and you are looking for a lender, I would absolutely not choose Suntrust.
