They were very careful in handling my belongings and meticulous about how they loaded and unloaded their truck. They even asked my preference as to which items were to be grouped together in my garage and if I wanted bulky items and furniture placed the front or back of my garage. The crew that was assigned to my move came from Modesto. I was moving to Clovis and the Clovis crew was not available. I was very displeased to say the least about the crew that moved me. They broke a TV. They did not make sure things were as I had wanted before they left. And since I they did not give me the full value of my TV that they broke. They did charge me to move my TV though and I did pay an extra fee for that. I was very, very, very displeased with this moving place. Do not recommend them at all. read more

Here the issues I had with grace moving company. They came and gave me a quote at home. Told them everything is going. Don't know how specific I needed to be. When moving day came they didn't have enough packing material and minimal personnel. Literally took all day to complete the move. When they left my new house one of the truck side swiped my car. I've took pictures and contacted them numerous time and not once has the owner contacted me to rectify the problem and fix my car. I had to go through my insurance and they call grace moving company and the lady Jen said she knew nothing about a accident yet I spoke with her Multiple times. I decided to hire Grace movers after a not so great experience with a different mover and my experience with them was excellent, from start to finish. (Not sure what that other guy's problem was, but there seem to be two different Yelp pages for Grace movers, so look for the other one and you will see all the good reviews.) My move was from Fresno to the Bay Area and included several valuable pieces of furniture that were very special to me, including a very intricate life sized carved wood statue which I hadn't had time to crate (see pic). My first point of contact at Grace was the estimator John, who was very reassuring. I called several times before the move with questions and the office staff always reached out to John, who called me right back to alleviate my concerns. On moving day, the three guys who came to handle the move, Daniel, the driver and Alex and Fernando, the two helpers were great. They were friendly, efficient and handled all of my pieces with great care. (They even moved a heavy adjustable bed down a tricky flight of stairs and made it look easy, never touching the hardwood floor.) When it came time to move the statue, Daniel reinforced all of the delicate parts with packing paper, then actually created a kind of shell out of cardboard boxes before wrapping the whole piece in mover's blankets and plastic. They carried it very carefully and strapped it to the inside of the truck with nothing else around that might impact it. Really the care that these guys took to keep it safe just blew me away! Moving can be so stressful, but these guys made it so much easier. Everything made it to The Bay Area perfectly including the delicate Statue, not a scratch! If you are planning a move, you can ask for these guys by name, they are a great crew. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I ever needed to. read more

I had made an appointment with them for the day after our home we sold and bought were supposed to close escrow. There was a delay and they (including the owner herself) immediately worked on trying to get us scheduled for when we were ready, which was changed a couple of times. Finally on moving day I was so done with all the drama of finally closing on two houses and the excitement was gone, I wasn't looking forward to having to deal with movers. This was the best experience moving I have ever had. Every single one of the 7 guys were friendly, careful, fast and efficient and worked their butts off! Any request I had...handled.
