I had SNS powder on my nail prior to arrival. After soaking my nails.. She left some powder residue on my nails . I asked her to remove it bcs it will cause the polish on top to crack prematurely once the residue starts rising (do I have to explain this to a nail tech?) . She said she didn't remove it bcs she didn't want to scrape my nails any further. OK but did I ask you that or did I ask you to remove it? She painted my nails and left a noticeable streak (see picture) then when I tell her about it she gets defensive. Giving an explanation that she needed to get polish on the corner but if she did a new coat it would be too thick. I don't want to hear excuses. Overall it was not a clean set. You can see the pictures and judge yourself. On top Of it all it was so overpriced AND MY NAILS CHIPPED THE NEXT DAY. BEWARe Wait till other salons or open unless you want to waste your money.

I…read morehad a two week old builder gel set with almond shaped tips that needed refreshing, with three nails needing repair on my right hand. Positives: I was immediately assigned to a manicurist despite the crowded waiting area. He worked pretty quickly and I was finished in under an hour. Ultimately, my nails were acceptable. The shape was close to what I wanted but not exactly. The color compliments my skin tone, and my nails feel sturdy. Concerns: The filing and buffing of the nail was a bit too rough for me. It was so rough that he ended up chipping and cracking the builder gel base of 3 other nails, as well as damaging the existing tips. This all resulted in me needing a new set essentially. Somehow after all of that filing I still saw remnants of my red gel polish from my last set on the edges of the nails. I knew I had a little dry skin around my nails having returned from a vacation. But he was a bit aggressive with the cuticle trim. My hands were a bit sore immediately following the manicure and I was afraid for possible infection. But thankfully 12 hours later they've returned to normal. The builder gel application was too thick. So much so that when I put my hand under the light to cure it was burning more than normal. I had to frequently pause to give my fingers some relief. It also left me nervous about how the ultimate nail shape would be. Because he was so fast he wouldn't let me even look at colors to choose from, but rather pointed to a mannequin hand and said pick a design. I ended up with a neutral base and ombré holographic chrome on the tips. Lastly two customers were serviced next to me during my visit. I think the speed is a nice but it doesn't seem like much sanitation is happening in between customers. I didn't see the station being wiped down or tools cleaned. I'm used to seeing bottles of seabreeze or other antiseptic products at the station and none were in sight.

When she was done washing the bleach out of my hair and brought me over to the chair, the towel still on my head she told me "don't be alarmed" before she reveal the burned mess that she had done. My hair was so burned that it was impossible to comb through without it completely breaking off. My hair felt like rubber bands and looked like stretched out winterfresh gum. I was crying for hours. I hadn't been here in a long time because they left a bad taste in…read moremy mouth but I started coming back because I figured I'd give them another try and now I'm convinced to never come back. They're obviously trying to push people to getting the SNS powder nails which I used to love but stopped getting. I made a few appointments for UV gel manicures and didn't have any complaints for my first visit. The second, however, my nails began chilling within two days which is ridiculous. I was unable to get them fixed which ended up with much of the gel coming off and taking some of my nail layers with it. I returned on Wednesday (3/22) and asked for them to remove the gel and I decided to get a regular manicure to give my nails a break. The first red flag (aside from their UV gel chipping a day after getting it applied...) was that the tech didn't soak off my UV gel. All the other items I've gone to get a soak off and redo my gel manicure, they first filled a bit of the gel off to make it easier to soak off, put acetone-soaked cotton on each of my nails and cover them with foil, and then after some time, they'll remove the rest. This time, the tech legit, tried to file of all of the gel with the electric file. She went over my own nail multiple times and I had to tell her to be careful not to file my nail. The cotton and acetone was left on my nails for literal minutes. Not at all long enough to soak off properly. She put on the nail polish and you could tell that my nail surface was uneven (still is). I just took off the polish today (3/25) to redo it because it looked so shoddy and you can clearly see that there is still base coat gel left on my nails. My actual nail layers were filed unevenly and my cuticles look shite. Hopefully I can look back at this review to remember that some businesses are just not worth a second chance. Never again.
