People please be aware, this place starting off good and went downhill very fast this was a very…read morehard time for me because my Mom and Dad was going through it and I didn't know that God was about to call them both home this place is terrible they didn't take no accountability for anything they did or lost, they lost a pair of 700. dollar eyeglasses, tried to loose his wheelchair but I finally got that back they had the nerve to give it to another patient and when I came up offered me a bet up wheelchair as if i would except anything it was leaning to the side and broken some of the staff was rude now my Dad was their patient they actually let my Father fall out of the bed 2 times, and he had to go to the hospital his roommates verbally assaulted him and pushed his bed into the hall they did call me this was at 2am, wow so glad God kept him safe yet again now I wasn't in any shape to move my father financially, and my Mom passed so I'm dealing with that now my father had dementia, so they were raising his rent and they actually put a so to speak eviction notice in his chair in his room didn't call the house, nor mailed anything or said nothing, telling me if I didn't come to the office and pay they were going to delivery my father at the door step now how cruel is that, after the funeral I came for a visit and the dirty with dirt letter was sitting on a chair wow the lady that was in charge of the finance office was Wendy and she was a joke and very shiesty no care or concern whatsoever or professionalism at all, why didn't she call, why would you give a patient with dementia mail, and important papers at that, I reported them to the state they found fault but did nothing that I saw and then my father passed, its good to know he's in the best of care now with God as well as my mother now people please investigate places before leaving your loved one I had to revise my review to let people know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth this was only about 5 years or so ago cherish your loved ones and give them the best care you can

My loved one is in this facility and the Anderson building on the 2nd floor has no A/C. It is very stuffy and the rooms are VERY small, like the bed is literally at the door and feels like a rock, look like a bed for a toddler. The room is something out of the 60's decor, the owners ought to be ASHAME of themselves. The building is old and very outdated, why do we treat our Seniors this way? I will not recommend anyone to this retirement home...NO WAY!!! They need to do some major updates to the decor and also the staff as well. Called for a nurse, she did not come until 20 mins after, glad it was not an emergency. I am not impressed by this facility, actually ashamed my grandmother is at such a place.

I highly recommend Accord to anyone looking the VERY BEST in Palliative and Hospice care for their loved one. We brought her home that weekend and the loving and caring staff not only got her comfortable but more importantly, she had a series of falls the last few months before this hospital visit, so she had not walked for almost 8 months. She was started on some muscle strengthening exercises, given some tender love and care, and not only did she make it through the weekend, but she walked about a month later for the first time in a long time, and lived almost 7 months after receiving such initial devastating news. We collectively know that it was Accord Palliative and Hospice Care that went above and beyond for our family. Thank you guys so much for caring for us in our time of need. -Davis Family

She has been in the facility since November.Between the hostile, aggressive nurses and the ghetto administration the whole experience has been extremely stressful for my mom and my family. My mom has not progressed under their care. She's only got worse since being in there and has fallen twice since being there without anyone notifying the family.The nurses are unreliable also not informed. My has received third-degree burns while in their care ! Amber, which is her caseworker is very rude, unprofessional and also incompetent. I've only spoken to her twice. She refuses to return any urgent voice messages that I leave. Every time I call, she seems to be off campus. As of today, I was yelled at by the director of the Facility Catina.On the two occasions, when I did speak to Amber my mom's social worker ,she had other people listening. She's very good at sending malicious sneaky emails cc'ing multiple people attempting to cover herself. I just got a call from a third-party marketing person claiming they are calling on behalf of Methodist Transitional Care.So now they're giving my mother's HIPAA information to other Healthcare Entities Without my mother's permission or the families. The woman on the line Informed me she was calling on behalf of Methodist transitional care.The woman stated she was told by Amber my mom was not able to go home . Not sure why Amber told her that. Since if that's the case, their Facility would take her.The fact that they're making up lies to cover their self is really sneaky and Vindictive. I requested a transfer for my mom to another facility weeks ago. Amber stated that it was declined at that time.I then contacted my mother's insurance to research. My mother's insurance company confirmed that was never done. Now that it's the new year Methodist transitional care is stating my mom will owes a deductible to even have her equipment, things my mom needs to have a safe Discharge. They are even fear mongering the family stating that they will pursue collections.I've also confirmed with my mother's insurance provider that she doesn't have a deductible for any care facilities for 2026. Which they are requiring before my mom receives her equipment. My mother has pending Medicaid.This place is ghetto and unprofessional. After speaking to a representative for the Aging And disabled research center , I was informed they receive a lot of complaints about the lack of care for the Elderly from Methodist Transitional Care. They are retaliating against my mom because I advocated about my mother's level of care. This facility gives the Methodist brand a horrible name. Unethical procedures, disrespectful, unprofessional staff please do not allow your loved ones to be treated with bias the facility lacks compassion, empathy. administration, nurses in all staff should be trained on actively listening. When placing my love one in this facility I thought about the care provided, closeness to the hospital and time it would take for me to get to him/her. The Social Workers' communication skills are impeccable. The director of nurses, nurses, med aide and some CNA's are remarkable. Like with everything you have to effectively communicate with everyone to make certain the proper care is being administered appropriately. It's not the Omni hotel, Friday dinner's could be better but when the right people are on duty a great job is being done!

The door is closed all day everyday, you knock and they don't answer. They don't answer their phones or voicemail in that department so I guess they don't like getting paid because I have not been able to make one yet. The administrator is worse she is very rude and unapproachable when her door is open. the rooms are nasty in the south and the CNA's have nasty attitudes and so does the administrator in the south. He cursed at me and my husband over the phone then called to offer a fake apology. I asked to speak to his boss he said "I am the boss". I went to talk to the other admin I knocked on her door and she said "I'm in a meeting"thru the door very rudely so I left. Everyone that used to be there was nice , knowledgeable and professional and gone and they have been replaced with the most ghetto ,unprofessional staff. please bring the other staff back before that place is forced to be shut down. After 10 days of intense PT and OT, I can walk on a walker, do a flight of stairs, ride a bike and generally take care of myself. The nurses were great and very caring (with the exception of 1 or 2, there's always 1) and the to therapists were amazing. They push but also take into account my personal limitations based on arthritis. The Drs were great too. I was having huge problems with pain and the Dr reaccessed the plan and made me comfortable. You really get out of it, what you put into it. This hospital really made that process easy and more effective.
