I knew 3 older female friends that were there. They never come when assistance is needed, food is bad, space is cramped and dirty.

**Ruby & Katy in the reviews are part of admin here. Hell! I'd give it 5 if I got to do nothing…read moreand get a Xmas bonus every year plus weekends/holidays off. And FYI any place that says it's "like family" is an extremely toxic environment. Run! The only way anyone would see it as compatible to "family" is if you grew up neglected and abused. Worked here for 4 days before handing in my badge. There are medical staff that are doing shady things with patients, roaches in resident's drawers and rooms, gnats, this place is filthy morally and in its physical state... most of the staff just want a paycheck but don't give a rat's tail end about these folks. They are miserable to be there and take it out on patients. There are a handful of good hearts here but they get choked out by weeds. I have a strong passion for taking care of those under my care. They need people that CARE! The admin and all those people at top don't care. They're too busy being messy amongst themselves. Final straw was when I completed my training and printed my certificates for this facility to forward all of that to state so that my license could be renewed and Ms Ruby in HR said it takes two months for State to update but hey... I "can still work with an expired license". I'm a veteran that paid for my course to save my military education on a higher degree. Why in God's earth would I let my hard earned cash and hard earned license go to waste for 14 bucks an hour?! And what she said isn't true...state took less than 48 hours 2 years ago when I updated and renewed. They try to keep people there anyway they can but this place needs to get tore up from the floor up. It should be shut down. I wish State would step up to the plate. You aren't putting anyone out of a job because most these folks hate working here. It's horrible and I feel so badly for these patients. That sign on bonus that they spread over a 3 month period is not worth it. I have too much light in me and good energy to be wasting on this ghetto facility, tired of driving an hour there, almost an hour back... 8 hour shifts only and at 14 bucks an hour for a rat hole. When you have good people that care about what they do and you work someplace like this, it's like pouring water in a bucket with holes. You will run through your good people because management is horrendous. If you care for your loved ones please don't choose this place. If you have a passion for healthcare or want longevity in your career... don't choose Skyline. They want team players when you play on their terms but they don't do their residents right or their workers.

The lack communication skills, respect and honesty to those advocating for those housed in the building has been little to none. This location has not had HOT water since Saturday, January 21, 2023, It is now January 24 th and still does not have hot water, which means those admitted/ housed in this building have not had access to hot baths. Does this matter, it certainly does to me George Rangel.
