I knew 3 older female friends that were there. They never come when assistance is needed, food is bad, space is cramped and dirty.

And FYI any place that says it's "like family" is an extremely toxic environment. Run! The only way anyone would see it as compatible to "family" is if you grew up neglected and abused. Worked here for 4 days before handing in my badge. There are medical staff that are doing shady things with patients, roaches in resident's drawers and rooms, gnats, this place is filthy morally and in its physical state... most of the staff just want a paycheck but don't give a rat's tail end about these folks. They are miserable to be there and take it out on patients. There are a handful of good hearts here but they get choked out by weeds. I have a strong passion for taking care of those under my care. They need people that CARE! The admin and all those people at top don't care. They're too busy being messy amongst themselves. Final straw was when I completed my training and printed my certificates for this facility to forward all of that to state so that my license could be renewed and Ms Ruby in HR said it takes two months for State to update but hey... I "can still work with an expired license". I'm a veteran that paid for my course to save my military education on a higher degree. Why in God's earth would I let my hard earned cash and hard earned license go to waste for 14 bucks an hour?! And what she said isn't true...state took less than 48 hours 2 years ago when I updated and renewed. They try to keep people there anyway they can but this place needs to get tore up from the floor up. It should be shut down. I wish State would step up to the plate. You aren't putting anyone out of a job because most these folks hate working here. It's horrible and I feel so badly for these patients. That sign on bonus that they spread over a 3 month period is not worth it. I have too much light in me and good energy to be wasting on this ghetto facility, tired of driving an hour there, almost an hour back... 8 hour shifts only and at 14 bucks an hour for a rat hole. When you have good people that care about what they do and you work someplace like this, it's like pouring water in a bucket with holes. You will run through your good people because management is horrendous. If you care for your loved ones please don't choose this place. If you have a passion for healthcare or want longevity in your career... don't choose Skyline. They want team players when you play on their terms but they don't do their residents right or their workers.

The lack communication skills, respect and honesty to those advocating for those housed in the building has been little to none. This location has not had HOT water since Saturday, January 21, 2023, It is now January 24 th and still does not have hot water, which means those admitted/ housed in this building have not had access to hot baths. Does this matter, it certainly does to me George Rangel.

Our mother was very gently taken care of by all of the staff. Everyone at Accord was respectful and did everything needed to make our mom comfortable. I really cannot say enough about the level and care and support provided for my mom and the entire family. I highly recommend Accord to anyone looking the VERY BEST in Palliative and Hospice care for their loved one. It was the best decision ever, and Accord was suggested from a dear friend who had used them. PLEASE DO NOT PASS UP A CHANCE TO WORK WITH Accord. They are exemplary!!!

We brought her home that weekend and the loving and caring staff not only got her comfortable but more importantly, she had a series of falls the last few months before this hospital visit, so she had not walked for almost 8 months. She was started on some muscle strengthening exercises, given some tender love and care, and not only did she make it through the weekend, but she walked about a month later for the first time in a long time, and lived almost 7 months after receiving such initial devastating news. We collectively know that it was Accord Palliative and Hospice Care that went above and beyond for our family. Thank you guys so much for caring for us in our time of need. -Davis Family

01/12/2026 As of…read moretoday, I've only received an update about my mom's physical therapy once. She has been in the facility since November.Between the hostile, aggressive nurses and the ghetto administration the whole experience has been extremely stressful for my mom and my family. My mom has not progressed under their care. She's only got worse since being in there and has fallen twice since being there without anyone notifying the family. The nurses are unreliable also not informed. My has received third-degree burns while in their care ! Amber, which is her caseworker is very rude, unprofessional and also incompetent. I've only spoken to her twice. She refuses to return any urgent voice messages that I leave. Every time I call, she seems to be off campus. As of today, I was yelled at by the director of the Facility Catina. On the two occasions, when I did speak to Amber my mom's social worker ,she had other people listening. She's very good at sending malicious sneaky emails cc'ing multiple people attempting to cover herself. I just got a call from a third-party marketing person claiming they are calling on behalf of Methodist Transitional Care.So now they're giving my mother's HIPAA information to other Healthcare Entities Without my mother's permission or the families. The woman on the line Informed me she was calling on behalf of Methodist transitional care. The woman stated she was told by Amber my mom was not able to go home . Not sure why Amber told her that. Since if that's the case, their Facility would take her.The fact that they're making up lies to cover their self is really sneaky and Vindictive. I requested a transfer for my mom to another facility weeks ago. Amber stated that it was declined at that time.I then contacted my mother's insurance to research. My mother's insurance company confirmed that was never done. Now that it's the new year Methodist transitional care is stating my mom will owes a deductible to even have her equipment, things my mom needs to have a safe Discharge. They are even fear mongering the family stating that they will pursue collections.I've also confirmed with my mother's insurance provider that she doesn't have a deductible for any care facilities for 2026. Which they are requiring before my mom receives her equipment. My mother has pending Medicaid. This place is ghetto and unprofessional. After speaking to a representative for the Aging And disabled research center , I was informed they receive a lot of complaints about the lack of care for the Elderly from Methodist Transitional Care. They are retaliating against my mom because I advocated about my mother's level of care. This facility gives the Methodist brand a horrible name. Unethical procedures, disrespectful, unprofessional staff please do not allow your loved ones to be treated with bias the facility lacks compassion, empathy. administration, nurses in all staff should be trained on actively listening. Leadership should be fired. The place looks nice, but the conditions and treatment is un deplorable!
