Listed as a gated community but the gated have maybe worked a total of ten days in two years and that not consecutive. 2. Maintaince issues- I've had a mouse issue for over a month they marked it complete even after never visiting the apartment and had to handle on my own. I'm on the second floor so probably multiple units. Broken sink took over a month to fix. When I called after two weeks the leasing agent Raine told me I could do it myself. It took another two weeks. 3. Pool has been down both summers this year was for 45 days at the start of summer. Last year it would get green and they'd shut it down for safety issues. The neighbors are great and fun monthly activities. Maya is the only reason people stay, she is literally the sweetest person, listens and tries. Any of the other 29 agents they have cycled through aren't personable and don't seem to care. Would love to stay another year but this place is falling apart and over priced. Update: After 47 days with leasing continuing to never have pest show up and me finally laying traps. The mouse was caught. On Nov 7th pest control stopped by confirmed the infestation over a month from my initial maintenance request and needed to get their supervise. I have yet to tell the mark the mouse was caught 12 days later and still haven't heard anything.

Bathroom had MAJOR infestation of ants and then drain flies... it was so gross!! They nickel and dime you with all kinds of admin/processing fees! They outsource everything, so you are dealing with all different outside companies who charge you fees and more fees!! They ripped me off several hundred dollars, charging me $35 a month because my renters insurance had their street address and not a PO box, even though The Mark was listed as a party of interest and nothing in my lease said I had to list the PO Box!! Owners are out of state, so they don't care about you... all they care about getting your money, too!! Loud cars and motorcycles rev their engines all the time. I lived there four years, and the first year was great; then, downhill it went!! Beware and don't be fooled!!

The staff is kind and truly quick to help, you can tell this place is run by people who take pride in their work. All of my neighbors seemed kind and respectful as well! The apartments themselves are also gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. As someone who has a very high standard for clean and safe living spaces, North Grove was the perfect home for the time I was able to live there. I only recently moved because of life circumstances that took me out of state. If I ever move back to the area, I'll be renting here again in a heartbeat! It is also worth noting that this property is surrounded by a new neighborhood full small parks and gorgeous new homes that felt quite inviting and safe for families. Having space to take morning runs and evening walks through was 100% a highlight of this location. Not to mention, there's a brand new Tom Thumb in walking distance if you're the kind of person up for a quick mile walk to pick up drinks or snacks in the evening. After multiple bad apartment experiences in expensive Dallas neighborhoods, I moved all the way to Waxahachie to live here, and I would do it again!

The office staff often have treats in the office for holidays / special events and have recently started having Happy Hour in the Club House. You can keep up with the goings-on via Instagram or via text messages from the staff if you opt to receive them. I added Oxford on Instagram and had a fee waived for doing so. There are so many things that I love about these apartments. The location would be number one! It is right off of Hwy 35 and 287 with easy access and a 25 minute drive to Dallas. Directly across the road is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. Oxford offers a 30% monthly discount for hospital employees. If you are an animal lover, this is your place! I have a Labrador Retriever and this is the only apartment complex in town that would accept a dog of this size. The location is surrounded by large fields that are perfect for letting your dog run around. If you prefer, there is also a dog park on site. This is a quiet place to live. This is important to me as I work nights and sleep during the day. The pool is great! Relaxing and a nice place to hang out with wifi. Well equipped gym on site with free weight and various machines. Oxford also offers trash valet! (I personally love this.) Another convenience is the full size washer and dryer in each apartment. Last but not least... free cable! The apartments were recently upgraded with fiber optic cable for better service. I would recommend this complex. I have enjoyed living here and plan to stay another year.

The manager worked with me, and was very sweet throughout the entire process. The wooded courtyard is almost like a wooded getaway. They have a beautiful pool, trees all around (my favorite part) and outdoor, state-of-the-art grills cemented in brick next to a gazebo for gatherings. Kids run around and play, which makes the place feel homey, and animals freely roam, which brings more of a natural environment. The apartment I got was completely renovated with beautiful wooden floors and shaggy carpet in the living room and bedroom. As I walked in, the place smelled like cleaning products, which showed me that they deep cleaned before I arrived. They take good care of you. I found very few things wrong upon moving in and it felt like home!

It is currently 109 outside and none of us here at Park Place can enjoy the pool in the Texas heat. My rent is around 1600$ give or take, I feel like all of the residents here pay enough to keep up the amenities here. But that clearly isn't the case. About 98% of the time the pool is a disgusting green color with a film on top of the water. Nobody wants to swim in that. The other 2% it's clean, but that is very rare. It seems as if maintenance lets the pool get very nasty and then cleans it, only for it to last a couple of days. I understand that there are many people who live here and maintenance can only handle so much.. that being said I don't think they have the full knowledge nor supplies to clean the pool. As much money as we are paying in rent, there should be a professional pool cleaning service hired. I don't not feel comfortable swimming in this disgusting pool. I really do think this is a health violation to the residents here.

Just a short list of why not to live here!…read more Charged a large reletting fee, which in my opinion that should not have been needed due to them already having someone to move in to the apartment that I was moving out of, which Shannon the manager told me herself weeks before I moved out. Charged for replacing carpet that should not have been needed in full apartment. Took pictures the day I turned in my keys. Was only a tiny portion of apartment that MAY in my opinion should have needed it that should have been fully covered with the $400 deposit that I did not receive back. Unexplained charges of $40. Charged for light bulbs that should not have been charged for. I left a pack of 4 light bulbs when I moved out was unable to change them myself because of the high ceilings and I'm 5'2. Pictures of the lightbulbs on the counter also. I asked apartment manager Shannon to walk through the apartments when I went to turn in keys and was told "she didn't have time" I took pictures of each and every square foot of the apartment myself. Manager and assistant manager at this property were very unprofessional each time I spoke with them. Had multiple service calls about a noisy fridge that was never fixed and was told every time there was no issue. When I received my final statement I called the Dallas office and only thing she told me was that she would request pictures and kept repeating it. Then when I would not accept this answer she said "I'm not taking the charge off" and hung up on me. Tried to call back and no answer. Called the Indianapolis office and was re-routed to 3 different people and only was told to use their contact me page. I had several people help me clean and leave the apartment almost spotless and was still charged $20 cleaning fee Lastly I will add.... my locked car was stolen from these apartments when I lived here!
