On the way driving home I see a "wine tasting" sign, my friend and I decided to stop by and I'm SO glad we did! This place is awesome, and so beautiful. I was obsessed with the decor and the super friendly and wonderful staff. We even got to meet the wine maker! The flights were super affordable, only $15! I tried the red wine flight and I loved it, but the Pinot noir was my favorite. I really love that they also offer events on certain days as well. Paint and sip night is every Friday, build your own bonsai is Wednesday, and much more. This place was fantastic, I can't wait to come back! The staff made us feel right at home. Definitely come check this place out.

Although this winery is located in an industrial warehouse area, the location was cute, inviting and clean. I liked the atmosphere and decor. There were several couples, groups of girlfriends chatting and some people setting up for an event in the back. Service was fine, we got a good description of flights and glasses. I went with the white wine flight. There were three different kinds of chardonnay and that's my fav wine, so I went for it. The flight also came with complimentary packaged breadsticks which were pretty tasty. Unfortunately, the wines went from ok to bad really quickly. The chardonnay aged in stainless was the first and the most balanced. It was not too acidic nor did it have the artificial oak taste that is all to common nowadays. The next chardonnay was more or less the same. The one aged in oak was too oak forward in a fake vanilla way. I didn't like the chenin blanc at all so I skipped to the last one, a viognier reserve which literally looked like apple cider vinegar. The smell was not pleasant and it tasted of things I can't describe. To avoid wasting wine, I went back to the chenin blanc which didn't taste so bad anymore. I could not finish the Viognier reserve. I felt bad for suggesting that my friend and I meet here. Part of wine tasting and visiting breweries is seeing what you like and don't like. Could have been an off day with off tasting wines. In the end, my friend and I left without purchasing any bottles.

The owners were absolutely amazing! What a fun night with friends, our own snacks, and puppies in tow! We all ordered wine flights and really enjoyed the variety The owner made some suggestions And we bought a bottle and joined Saw the Vista magazine and read the article and thought need to check them out sometime! Than saw Barb from Around the Town post and boom- drove down that weekend with our group to check out and so glad we did! Keep up the great work Please invite me when you do the Grape Stomp I would love to do it!

Good tasting wine at a fair price but with excellent service. Every one of the staff members were pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable. Stumbled in by chance now I'm going to have to come back often.

We stumbled upon this winery while driving. There were signs on the road for tasting so we thought, why not? Jess and Carrie were such a warm welcome when we entered. The inside is beautiful, a very organic and gentle interior. I liked that there were plants all around as I am a plant lover. We were able to get our taste on with a couple of wine flights and they did us the pleasure of waving one of our flights due to us purchasing 2 bottles. I must say, I have yet to go to a winery where ALL of the white wines were tastey. I am so serious! At least for my pallet, I found every last one of the white wines to be worthy of taking home, so we purchased a bottle of the Chardonnay, Viognier, and the Chenin Blanc. I want to mention also that I was taken by surprise when I tasted the Grenache. There were 2 and total opposite tastes but both thirst quenching to the pallet, wonderful summer beverages. We appreciated the hospitality and wine so much that we became members! [Woo hoo!] After 5 months, searching for a San Diego wine club to join, we found one. Glad to have a new wine family. Thank you so much, Grafted Cellars! Can't wait to see you again. If you are in the area, please check this place out!

This place had the BEST SANGRIA ever! I walked out with two bottles :) the sampler was also really yummy and loved they were in science flasks! :) the only negative about this place is they need real snacks not snack packs.

CUTE CUTE CUTE! Love this place. The decoration inside is so inviting and cozy and not to mention everyone who works there is so kind and extremely knowledgeable about what they offer and all things wine. I'm a red wine gal but my husband prefers white so we did a flight of each. (Flights are $15 !!! Total deal). I loved that the flights came in beakers - as a scientist I was giddy the entire time! Definitely check this place out.

The wines were so good that we took a couple bottles with us and became wine club members! Owners are so friendly and really make the experience that much better. They have a wide variety of mostly reds with a couple whites and a rosé. They serve little breadstick crackers with your tasting which is so great as you are really able to taste each wine after a bite of one. If you purchase 2 bottles you get your tasting for free. They also sell little snacks. A huge bonus is they are open till 7!

    Tasting flight. Yum!

We can't say enough good things about Two Planks! Two Planks is your ideal neighborhood wine bar. The staff is friendly (I love a venue that knows their members on a first name basis) & passionate about wine. The wines are fantastic. We highly suggest joining the wine club (it has the normal perks of coming with tastings, etc.). We really appreciate the ambiance, the staff and the wines that they produce. Thanks for being our new go-to! Salud! :)

There are two parking lots that we saw, one closer to the bottom which was gravel but would require a walk up two flights of stairs, or there's a lot closer to the tasting room (paved) but is more limited. We were able to snag a spot up at the top luckily. They have a two sample limit & then you can buy drinks by the bottle or glass. The day we went they were having a 25% off bottle sale. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views. I highly recommend checking out Sunshine Mountain Vineyard.

Such a beautiful view that even teenage boys will stop and appreciate it!…read more I found a great deal on Groupon that included four glasses of wine and a charcuterie board, enough for four people. It was the perfect way to sample their wines while enjoying the scenery. We also ordered two pizzas: the Sunshine Cheese Delight and the Sunshine Meat Lover. Both were good and hit the spot. We added a large bag of Stellar Pretzel to share, and for dessert (because I absolutely have a sweet tooth), we tried the Sunshine Double Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu. I prefer sweeter wines and ordered the Rosa and Riesling , both were great and exactly what I was hoping for. A couple things to note: I had read in other reviews that there were servers, but when we visited, we ordered inside, were given a buzzer, and picked up our food ourselves. It was also pretty cold outside, and it took some time for the staff to turn on the warmers. We came on a Sunday and learned that live music starts at 3 PM. My husband and I definitely plan to come back for a date when there's live music playing. We were able to park near the top by the tasting room, which was convenient. There's also seating below near a beautiful waterfall and koi pond , it's a bit of a walk down (and back up). Overall, such a scenic spot with good food, sweet wine options, and a relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back!
