Don't come here unless you're OCD and want every last thing fixed with your car. I went for an inspection and they tried to tell me that I needed to pay for so many things to be fixed in order to pass inspection when it wasn't true. They overcharge for parts as well. I found parts online for half the price they put in the estimate. I'd highly suggest not going here. There labor hourly rate is almost double that other shops. On the estimate they told me it'd take an hour to fix a window switch. Fixed it in 30 seconds with a flat head screw driver... Don't trust these people. But they do a thorough evaluation of your car so if you got money to blow, go here. read more

I've finally found a local mechanic I can trust. Tim and his team are great. They take the time to explain what is wrong, what they need to do to fix it, and what it will cost. Very reasonably priced, too. I highly recommend Graham's for everything from state inspections to more complex issues. It's a great relief to know I'll never have to look for another mechanic. I went into Graham Tire for an inspection on my Jeep. They started the inspection process after 10 minutes. Within a few minutes they asked me if I had reverse lights. I answered no. They continued the inspection for another 24 minutes. Instead of telling me that the Jeep would not pass the inspection they failed me in the state computer and charged me $45. I am a combat Marine Vet and all this place cared about was collecting $45. I will never go there again and I highly recommend everyone to stay far away from these unethical people. read more

Purchased winter tires in December 2017 from Graham Tire & Auto. The previous set of all-season tires, that were on our vehicle, were apparently checked before the mechanics bagged each one up, as they notified us of approximately how much tread was left on the all-season tires. Flash forward, we just had an appointment today to get a 'tire change over' to have our all-season tires set back on our vehicle. Well, lo and behold, there was a large bulge on one of the all season tires, which is interesting given that we did not use the tires since they were bagged up and they've been treated with care. Mind you, we don't have more than one set of rims, so the rims were taken off the tires before they were bagged up and therefore they were depressurized and the bulge was not visible to us. With that said, one might be hard-pressed to believe the bulge was not present when tires were swapped out back in December. So if that bulge was there, Graham Tire & Auto should have caught it before the winter tires were swapped in (and told us on the spot so we did not have to spend $90 to put the other tires back on just to tell us we will need new tires). Add to that, when the 'tire change over' that had transpired, today, and frustrations had already mounted, Graham Tire & Auto ended up pressurizing our tires beyond the point of the recommended PSI. I had to notify them of that, at which point they then released tire pressure to the point of the manufacturer's recommendation. Way too overpriced! They charge an arm and a leg just to hook up and OBD-2 reader....They never call to tell you when your vehicle is done. All in all, they are a consistent disappointment. read more

I find it very unfortunate when I have to write a poor review, but I certainly do not want anyone else to deal with the type of poor service I just experienced.  I am new to the Exeter area and I was looking for a place to take my three vehicles.  I came upon Graham via online reviews and they looked promising, so I decided to give them a call and spoke with Mark whom seemed pleasant and understanding, so we scheduled an appointment for  Monday 10/31/2016 for a diagnostic / estimate on my older Subaru.  I heard nothing about my vehicle Monday and gave until Tuesday afternoon 4:00pm  and decided to give a call about when I could pick the vehicle up and I was told that the vehicle had not been looked at yet which was somewhat confusing to me as I had an "appointment" Monday morning the day before.  I inquired why the vehicle had not been looked at and was given some excuse about them being busy and some of the technicians were attending classes, so I asked when it would be done and I was told later in the week which was a vague answer at best.  I waited until Thursday late morning  11/3/2016 and decided perhaps the simple diagnosis was complete and I could schedule to pick it up and or have them fix what was wrong, but to no avail as they still had not looked at the vehicle.  I spoke with Mark and again inquired what is taking so long and why nobody from the organization was communicating the delay and what I could expect as a timeline for completion, where I again received excuses of he was out of the office and they were very busy.  Mark informed me that he was working on writing up the estimate so I waited for the callback on Thursday. I finally called Friday afternoon 11/4/2016 and Mark sighed after my inquiry of it's completion, put me on hold and came back to explain my car was on the lift, indicating it was not actually looked at yesterday and no estimate was actually being prepared. My response was two fold: (1) I asked him to please stop any further diagnosis and told him I found the whole experience unacceptable (2) That I would be coming the following day Saturday 11/5/2016 to pick up the vehicle and pay them for their time to which not much of a reply was given.  I work in an industry where customer service is paramount and personally expect honesty, fairness and communication when dealing with any organization, and unfortunately I received none of those things at Graham Tire & Auto.  They were unapologetic, uncommunicative and seemed as though earning new customer business was not a priority to them.  I write this long review to warn anybody thinking of going to this organization that they may want to think long and hard about it if they share any of the same expectation as a consumer as I do.  I find it unfortunate, however I have no issue bringing my business and expectations to another shop. read more
