I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new garage to service my Subaru. I was very pleased when I received a quote over the phone for 60K service work from Tires Too that was significantly less than quotes I received from other businesses in the area. There was no hard sell for unnecessary work either, which was refreshing. They had room in their schedule for my car within a couple of days of my call. I dropped the car off at 8:45 a.m. and was told that it would likely be ready by noon or 1:00. I arrived at noon and ended up waiting until 2:30. Then I got the bill, which was more than double what I had been quoted on the phone. When I asked about that, I was told that they were sorry, but some of their employees answering the phone were new and the one I had spoken to had failed to include labor in the quote. I can say that the employees I spoke to were unfailingly polite and the waiting room was comfortable and pleasant. Thus far, the car seems to be in good shape from the service it received (see the update below - one problem has not been fixed). I knocked one star off my rating for the longer than expected wait - I would have gotten a ride back that arrived later had I known it would take that long. I knocked off two stars for sticker shock when the work was done and there was no offer on the part of Tires Too to adjust the bill in any way because of a major error on their part. Caveat emptor: Get your estimate in writing from these guys! Update: One of the things I asked Tires Too to take care of during the appointment above was to see why the tire pressure monitoring system dashboard light kept coming on. I had topped off the tires several times before bringing the car in, but none seemed to need much and I couldn't figure out which one was leaking. Things seemed good for a couple of days after I picked up the car from Tires Too, but the light came on again today. The problem is obviously not fixed and I will have to bring the car in to someone else to take care of it. I'm knocking off another star for that. read more

I used this place for a windshield calibration through an independent glass company. I found that they are liars and sneaks and that you should stay away from this business at all costs. Firstly, this should have taken a morning at most and the glass guy finished his job at 11 which I confirmed before calling this crooked place at2 and asking when I could pick up my car - they said that the glass wasn't installed until after 1 and they would call me when their job was done. I called them at 415 and and was told that if I wanted to pick it up tonight it should be done soon. Anyway, they called at 450 and said I can pick up the car. I went in got my keys and found the car in the outside parking lot with the interior hot as F and the temp set at HI and the directional settings for the heat aimed at the floors - then I noticed that a QUARTER TANK of gas had been used up. I called them and asked why my car was hot as hell and 1/4 tank of gas used up and they said that they did not have the wherewithall to handle these issues with me. I believe that my car heated up their whole freaking garage all day - how else could they use up that much gas? Had appointment for 12/13/24 to install 4 corvette tires and alignment. 12/12/24 went to drop off tires and walked in and asked for John and what seemed like the owner calls Mr to step out side. He then tells me to take my business else where. He says he's dealt with me before and I supposedly did something wrong! He wouldn't say what but I guess he holds a grudge about something. WOW!! Walked in for an inspection and they saw me within 20 minutes. The guy at the desk (Jake?) was very nice. They showed me what was wrong with my car and wrote up a detailed estimate for me to bring back to the dealership (I had to go back to where I bought the car to get the work done). Inspection was $45 though. Is that standard? Last year I paid $30, so seemed a little steep to me. read more

I brought my SUV in for a check engine light and asked for a brake inspection a few weeks ago. It ended up needing some repairs, so the shop has worked with me to identify the most urgent to least urgent problems so that I can chip away at getting the repairs completed as I can afford them. They gave me full estimates on all repairs needed and have stayed true to their word. Russ & Jake are easy to deal with and have done a great job accommodating me. I was stranded with a flat tire on my utility trailer at a gas station. After calling and calling I found this AMAZING place! Russ was so awesome! He took the time to come out to me and take off my trailer tire, bring it back to the shop and come back and put it on, even though they don't offer that service! My family and I have been going to tires too for a couple years now. I do not suggest going there. I will never go there again. I brought my car into tires too to be inspected (without them knowing I already had the car inspected elsewhere.) the other place found 1 broken blub worth $16..... Tires too found $1,200 worth of "problems" to fix. Too often there is problems that are found under the car that evoke fear in the owner. Even though other shops do not find these things to be a problem. I think they are digging us for money. read more

Buyer Beware. Are they super friendly, absolutely. Nice dog, you bet. However if you are the classic uniformed female relying solely on what they tell you.....go somewhere else. I went here for years until I had a very knowledgeable male friend go over "my list" with the photos. What a scam. I had a cracked serpentine belt (funny, no photo of that) according to Tires Too. Well, when I looked at it....it was near perfect! Because it had been replaced by my ex husband. Guess they assumed I would never start asking questions. I've been bringing my car here for about a year. Russ and Jake are friendly and professional, and my car is always ready when promised. They take the time to explain everything, and will show you the car and/or faulty parts. My car was recently towed there, and they were able to get it up and running quickly.
