Each time, most of the employees were either sitting outside the restaurant or somewhere inside that wasn't behind the counter (these were different employee each visit, not the same person every time). I have never had to wait so long for them to make my sandwich at any other Subway location. One time, when ordering online, our order was not ready until 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. Please note that this was not during busy lunch/dinner hours -- I stood in the restaurant waiting for them to make the order and there were no other customers present. This most recent time eating here, I'm positive I got food poisoning from this place, which is what finally prompted me to write this review. Safe to say -- my wife and I will never be coming to this location again.

This wonderful lady helped me get an amazing subway club sandwich - with provolone cheese and fixings. Since I was not familiar with the menu, she guided me through the selections, toasted my sandwich to perfection and it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. There's another lady there who's wonderful as well! It's great when there's a friendly face with a smile, instead of someone who just works there. A few of the other subways I've been to are not as friendly. Being nice helps with any job, and makes a difference all round. Like I mentioned before, I was not a big visitor at Subway, but the help from the staff at this location has now made Subway one of my favorite food places! Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good.
