Strangely enough, basically across the street from another health food store. This one has a lot more space and maybe fewer groceries; it's spread out a lot more so it's hard to tell. They have a lot of sugar free candy and what looked like some regular candy as well (lemon drops; French burnt peanuts, etc.). Lots of supplements but also a grocery section, including cherry juice and frozen foods. Prices seemed about the same as the other health food store, which are a little high, but there were some interesting specials. Unlike Discount Health, this store does not feature a delicious deli. read more

This place is awesome! They have a wall of bulk items that you can have weighed out. I got a few types of curry and some loose leaf tea for under $10 out the door. The staff is friendly and the place is rarely so busy that you can't find help. read more

This place has a few interesting products. I've only been in here a couple times but was not thrilled enough with the selection or service to go back. They sell some produce that looks like it was bought reduced at sams club. The place across the street has alot more to offer. read more

I have been going here for at least 15 years. They were the first health food store in Saginaw (that I remember). They seemed to care before gluten free became available. As far as the other health food store right by them, I honestly felt like they didn't care, and seemed more about the money. The employees at this store are knowledgeable and extremely nice. This is the only place I go for my health needs and more. read more

The first time I was in the store I looked around at all the essential oils they had in stock. They seemed to be a little overpriced to me even with them being on sale. I had asked one of the managers if they had a certain ingredient for bath bombs, she told me no and I asked if they could find out if they can order it. She took down my name and number and the ingredient and promised to call within a day. It's been a month and a half. Next time I went in I looked at the organic skincare items that they have in stock. I bought a few things and tested them out that week. I bought a oil serum to see if that would help hydrate my skin, I used it twice and it make me break out horribly. I don't have sensitive skin and I only have reactions like that if I am allergic to an ingredient. I kept my receipt and took that item back. The cashier told the owner that they had a return and he came over. He asked me if there was anything wrong with it and I told him I had a reaction. He them told me that they couldn't give me my money back since it was used and can only give store credit. Usually that only happens when you don't have a receipt but I had mine. I told him that I had a reaction to it, it's not like it was just not working or something. He told me it doesn't matter because he can't sell it again and if I bought it anywhere else I would be out of luck (he mentioned target). I am a skin care and makeup junkie and I know that to be a wrong statement. Most places (especially if you have a reaction) take it back and refund you if you have the receipt. He pointed to the sign behind the register and read it out loud to me stating their return policy and said it's been that way for 30 years. He did not seem apologetic at all, he seemed demeaning in his manner. It made me feel small and disrespected. They are in titled to their policies but imo it's irresponsible as a business to have that kind of return policy for cosmetic. People can not help bad reactions of products. I've been going there for decades. They always have what I need. I don't have to wait for items online. They also have good quality products. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly too. I like their pure water, various types of flours for breads, and I love their steel cut oats. I like buying bulk powdered herbs because I make my own supplements. They even carry empty capsules and the portable capsule making machines. Sometimes I buy pure garlic power and put it into empty capsules, or valerian powder and put it into capsules. I can put any powder (fruit, vegetable, MSM, herbs, powder, etc. into empty "00" capsules. There's nothing that I can't make when I go into that place. I even make my own shampoo to keep my hair from shedding. You can make your own products from hair care to skin care, and holistic med alternatives. Sky's the limit!!!!!!!!!!! drove 55 miles to shop there today. thought I'd spread the $ between this store and another healthfood store 2 doors to the south. of course, after driving for an hour and drinking water, I needed to use the bathroom. when I asked to use their restroom I was told no, it was only for employees! of course i left! then walked 2 doors down to a much nicer and friendlier store, spent ALL of my $ at that store (where the prices were better too), and even had a lovely organic lunch.
