"Application" process was easy and I did a virtual tour via FaceTime with Millie (one of the owners). She was super calm and answered every single question I had & showed me every nook and cranny or the school and where kiddo was going to be. PK2 here we come! 1st day I don't think it ever gets easier sending your kiddo to a new school. Kiddo was a touch apprehensive of a new environment but Teacher Nikki was so incredibly warm and welcoming to kiddo (and hubs and I)! Immediately I knew he was going to be just fine. We met Teacher Monique the next day or so - they coteach PK2 - and she's a gem. Both teachers are warm & caring (like aunties) and their love for teaching shines through! The classroom Together Monique & Nikki have created a thriving classroom full of areas to explore with defined spaces & boundaries. There a reading circle, pet fish, reading pod, and then nap mats for the kiddos to use after lunch before afternoon activities. If the kids don't nap they do have the option to read/look at books quietly. The PK2 classroom has two restrooms with kiddo sized toilets and sinks. Each season brings new decorations to the classroom (and school). There are days when kiddo is having a rough morning and both Teacher Nikki and Teacher Monique are angels getting him into class quickly, settled and then sharing with us that he's ok which I so appreciate because there's nothing worse than leaving your kiddo in tears! The school overall Goddard does a host of extra activities- summer bbq, Father's Day celebration, Trunk-or-Treat, holiday concert to name a few. Each brings the Goodard teachers & families together in a special way, along all to get to know each other a little better, enabling us partner for our kid's. Goddard is a pretty special place. One that is developing our kid in an amazing way and preparing him for kindergarten!

My boys had both been with a private nanny their entire lives - and we were extremely nervous about transitioning them away from private home care and into a school environment. The Merryhill team was fantastic and so supportive during the transition. My youngest especially had a difficult time with the transition. The teachers were so patient and kind with his crying at drop off - and would provide us updates on how he was doing via the school app. I also really like how they have big windows into each classroom; I am able to watch my boys and see how happy they are in their classroom before they notice I am there to pick them up. Both of my boys absolutely adore their teachers (Ms. Lindsey, Ms. Liz, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. CeCe) and look forward to seeing their friends every day. Beyond my boys being comfortable and happy - they have also learned so much in their time at Merryhill. Nearly every day I'm surprised by something new they've learned - like my 4 year old learning how to count up to 100, count in tens, learning the months of the year, and starting to read. My youngest learns new words every day, has learned his colors, how to count to ten, and is learning important social skills (like how to share). We feel very fortunate to have found this school and have already re-enrolled them both for next year.

Since attending Knowledge Treat Academy, I have already seen so many wonderful milestones in both of my children's lives in such a short amount of time. Both of my boys are autistic and require extra patience, understanding, and care. Jordan has been absolutely incredible with my son Liam and always gives me a sense of comfort and ease when dropping him off each day. Ms. Tasha has also been so patient, kind, and supportive with both of my boys. Ms. Andee is amazing as well, and I truly appreciate all of the love, care, and dedication she shows my children. The entire staff has been so welcoming from the very beginning and truly made us feel like family. It means so much to know my children are in an environment where they are genuinely cared for, supported, and understood. Ms. Katie at front desk is also so welcoming and amazing. I am beyond grateful for everyone at this school. The snacks are well thought out, the nap time has created a routine at home when I didn't have one in place before, and my kids are happy to be there when I drop off which is huge for me as a mother.

That alone speaks volumes about the caring and engaging environment the school creates. The teachers are approachable, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. We've had the pleasure of working with Ms. Andy, Ms. Emma, Ms. Maria, and Ms. Tosha, and they have all been wonderful. My daughter has truly enjoyed being in their classes and has always felt supported and encouraged. My son was in Mr. Calvin's class this year, and he especially enjoyed working with Legos and learning how to use new robotic toys. It's clear that Mr. Calvin cares deeply about his students and creates a fun, hands-on learning environment that keeps the children excited about learning. We are so grateful for the positive experiences our children have had at Knowledge Tree Children's Academy and highly recommend it to other families.

I couldn't believe what my oldest learned. He was the first in his K class to count to 100 and he was able to add, subtract, and multiply by the time he was in K. Our youngest has really come a long way verbally since attending preschool. Most important is the community and friendships that they have made. My oldest son's two best friends are friends that he met 3-4 years ago from preschool. Some of the families have become like second families to us while we don't see others as often it's still so fun to see each other at sporting events or out and about. I won't say that the transition to public school was smooth for my oldest son because he just wanted to go back to preschool. But I really don't see that as a bad thing. When I had questions about education for my eldest Lynn gave me the most helpful assessment of my son's educational needs that I've ever received. So while it's only a year or two of my kids life it really feels like it has had a lasting positive ripple effect and I'm so glad my kids have this important opportunity to be little.

We had to move our youngest son to The Playhouse Preschool, earlier than we had expected and the entire process was great! Kyle helped my youngest with the transition to a new place. They worked on and through my son's emotions, talked to him and treated him like a person when he's only 2. Kyle and his assistants are talked about frequently in our home. They have helped and supported the potty training process, they celebrate the children's successes, and meet the children at their level. After starting, my 2 year old came home using full length sentences, singing songs, talking about friends, using manners consistently, and expressing himself so much more! The other kids are kind and love one another. The other parents are just as kind and welcoming to these young developing friendships. We are so grateful to have found Kyle and look forward to our son developing and growing even more over the next few years!

1 Star - Absolutely Horrible Experience. Unsafe for Children…read more I enrolled my son at KinderCare in early May, and it was hands down the worst decision I've ever made for his care. I truly wish I had read the reviews and trusted my instincts before enrolling him. Let's start with the serious safety concern: they gave my son pineapple, something they were explicitly told he's allergic to. I have the daily log where they documented that he ate pineapple. When I messaged them after he broke out in a rash--consistent with his known allergy--they backtracked, changed their story, and even edited the record to say "pineapple substituted," without saying with what. They later blamed another child's rash as a "coincidence." This is reckless, dishonest, and dangerous. Instead of admitting an accident, they lied , and tried to cover it up. It wasn't a coincidence it showed he ate pineapple and came home with the rash from pineapple. (Diaper rash & hives). Beyond that, the entire billing situation is a mess. * I was told by kinder care worker that his tuition would be fully covered--otherwise I never would've enrolled him. * They charged me two registration fees up front and never fixed it, then tried to charge me a THIRD when I unenrolled him before sending out the bill with incorrect amounts and I will not be paying. * They started applying $30 late fees immediately, without ever disclosing that in advance. * They billed me $1,125 for a child who barely attended due to constant illness from being in that facility. Let's talk about that, too. The place reeks of pee, has no cameras, and is clearly understaffed or poorly staffed. My son, who usually loves everyone, screamed in fear every time he saw one particular older staff member. He would cling to me and cry, and even my family members noticed how he reacted to her. I have no doubt something inappropriate happened, and I will be pursuing that further. Packs of diapers went missing regularly, sippy cups came home full of old milk, and every day I picked him up, he was drenched in sweat--face red and dehydrated. They don't allow children to have access to water freely, and keep them outside for long stretches (likely to avoid having to interact with them). One staff member looked visibly strung out and reeked of cigarettes. How someone like that is even near children is beyond me. To make things worse, they didn't notify families for a week after kids were exposed to hand, foot, and mouth disease. My son could've been seriously impacted by their lack of transparency. While I was in labor, I had my parents, and sister all pick him up, and they didn't even id them once, to make sure they were who they said they were. And then got upset when the paper wasn't signed with dates my son was dropped off. They are completely disorganized, dishonest, and put money above child safety and well-being. There is constantly new staff every drop off besides the one lady I mentioned. This was my first daycare experience, and it was traumatizing--for both of us. Thank God he's in a new daycare now where he's thriving, doesn't cry at drop-off, and is actually safe and cared for. And they won't mistakenly give him something he's allergic too, if they did I'm sure they would own up to their mistake, not cover it up with lies. If you're considering this KinderCare location--run the other way. You deserve better, and so does your child. I'll be filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies, to make sure this doesn't happen to other children. My son could have been highly allergic to pineapple, and it could have killed them because of their mistakes instead of apologizing it, they lied to cover it up. They knew he was allergic, it's documented in all forms filled out, on top of the first day of care, the director announced it to the teachers. I included the messages when I messaged them confronting giving my child his allergy as well as the online portal what it showed his food he ate for the day,, and how they changed it online shortly after as if I didn't already have a screenshot that they gave him something he's allergic too. They also kept enrollment saying my mother stated he would be back next week, after I already made it clear he wouldn't be going back after this incident.

The diversity in the school is very good and type of activities in the school are very varied and helped my son in different aspects. There are many events out side the school such as field trips which made the connection between the kids and families even stronger. He made lot of friends and his communication skills increased as the year progressed. He learned discipline , how to read confidently and communicate effectively. Both Ms Michelle and Ms Kristian are Amazing and they pick up the talent in individual kid and challenge them accordingly. At no point in the school year we felt uncomfortable and did not feel that our son is not learning some thing new. Ms Michelle and Ms Kristian are wonderful, they both always go above and beyond and give valuable advice which is best for the kids in the long run. They have lot of experience in this field. Me and my husband are grateful to Ms Michelle and Ms Kristian for accepting him to Friends preschool . By the end of the year he was more than ready to start kindergarten. We many times thought it would have been better for our son if he started the preschool two years before the kindergarten but still it worked out very well and I recommend Friends preschool to any parents without any reservation. Good luck to Friends preschool family for a great year ahead!!
