We stopped at Grams Place while visiting Nebraska City, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! First, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they were absolutely amazing--friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The restaurant itself is located inside a beautifully restored historic train depot, which gives it so much character and charm. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it was outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor. I paired it with a strawberry lemonade, which was just as delicious. Before we hit the road, she even made sure my cup was topped off, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries, salad, and homemade cucumber salad. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and made with care. And before leaving, I grabbed a cinnamon roll for later--and wow, it was HUGE! You can tell this place is built around family, good food, and making people feel at home. If you're passing through Nebraska City, do yourself a favor and stop in. Cozy place to have a good meal. Started with spinach and artichoke dip. A bit cheesy but the flour tortilla chips were so good! I had the BLT ( you can't go wrong)and the rest of the table had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and a buffalo chicken wrap. Everyone liked their meals. The sweet potato fries were some of the best any of us have ever had. We were asked to seat ourselves as we entered. We ordered coffee and water to drink. Asked for recommendations on what to eat, she mentioned the special and a few items off the menu. I ordered the wings, my husband ordered a burger. We also ordered some onion rings. The onion rings were made here. They had excellent flavor. The wings came next. Loved the buffalo, but the bbq had a strong ketchup flavor, they were ok. My husbands burger was a handmade patty. Only thing missing was some kind of sauce. None offered on the menu. He used some mustard. Waitress did well making her rounds but asked if we needed anything and forgot the items I asked for. The area is well lit and relaxing. Noise level was kind of loud. My kids brought me here for my 60th birthday (Dinner). We were greeted with a friendly smile by the owner and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was superb! Ribeye and sirloin were flavorful and juicy. This was just an overall great experience. Staff was friendly and responsive. The interior of the depot was beautiful and clean. Food was delicious. My husband said his hot roast beef sandwich was one of the best he has had and my pork tenderloin was done just right. Prices were very affordable! We will definitely return. I would have posted picture but it was so delicious I forgot! We had the rib special with ribs, beans, the best cornbread you ever tasted, potato salad like my mom makes with mustard, onions and magic sauce. Yum!!! If you are out at Arbor Farm or close, stop in. So worth it. read more

This is the place you are looking for if you like local and not chain restaurant. The building is a train station built in 1910. It is very clean and tastefully put together. It is a newer place with excellent wait staff. First time I was here the owner was waiting tables too. I see one negative post but I am sure this person goes looking for problems. He should asked to talk to manager about issue. There are a few younger waiters so looks like a little inexperienced person. The owner ifs great and looking to improve anything that needs addressed. From the minute we entered we felt right at home the waitress was prompt with everything from getting my Pepsi and girlfriends Diet Pepsi to getting what looked like potato rings to eat green beans were great as well as the corn and salads were good at best not a lot of people when we went so it was kinda nice to enjoy a nice relaxing lunch of course we would recommend this place to anyone and everyone trust me you'll be glad you came great service great staff reasonably priced definitely worth a chance read more

The wife and I ate breakfast on Sunday morning. My wife said the sausage was fantastic and the eggs were cooked perfect. Her diced potatoes were overly salted and crunchy. She got a take out box and will cook them in our air fryer. I got a mexican breakfast which was very disappointing. The bottom layer was greasy floured chips. The ground sausage was not good and the beans were an off color and did not taste good. Our server asked if everything was OK and I responded "no". I got no reaction from her. Another disappointment. Been here 3 times now 1 time for breakfast and 2 times for dinner. And I will say this food is really good! And it is very well priced. They also have good and fast service hardly any time waiting for our meals or drinks. Will definitely be back and want to try the homemade desserts! read more
