15th home, and one more before the sun sets!!!

If I could give a sixth star, I would. This place take golf serious, but not themselves. A++. This place was great, easy parking, easy to find front desk, and beautiful facilities arrangement. Upon entering, they had their varsity golf team on some electronic display . Professional and tasteful, yet "bad-assery" on display . Carts, rentals, fees and a bucket of range balls, and such pleasant desk peeps. They had smiles, genuine greetings and great attitudes. What a fun set up. Golf is golf, yet had a week of rain prior to our day, so everything we needed to play was green and the rough was just that... (a motivator to stay straight.) Marshall was awesome, bev cart peep was gracious, and turning in cart rentals was quick and super smiley. What a great experience. We are trying to rework our schedule to golf there again before we leave town. So awesome . I look forward to that course again!

I will start by saying I don't golf but I've attended many work golf tournaments at this course. The staff here is easy to work with and very accommodating. The course works for our groups mix of "skill" level and always nicely maintained. For our events with 150 guests we have plenty of space to set up registration & raffle areas around the clubhouse. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating for lunch or dinner. The bar is stocked and ready. The food off the menu is good, the buffet style dinners are always a hit with our group. They pro shop has cigars and any golf related items you may need. Lots of GCU swag if you're looking for a gift or souvenir.

The course is on a square block, the fairways/ greens intertwine, this makes it difficult to find your direction to the next hole & occasionally you have golfers from another hole in the same bunker or even an errant ball on your green. The greens are hard but not fast, they have a lot of patches of raised "weeds"? But they roll on with minimum altered path. The fairways are in terrific shape. I think this was a municipal course before the college took it over. The carts are little older, retrofitted with tablets for GPS hole location. The kitchen doesn't open until 9am, that's very disappointing when you have a 7:30am tee time & you come early to grab a bite with a couple drinks.. The cafe/ restaurant is nice open seating with a terrific patio view of the 18th driving range & 1st tee, the prices of the food are reasonable for a golf course. The facility overall is very nice the bathroom was a little gross....

Fresh made tuna salad in lettuce wrap with cucumbers, ripe tomatoes and butter lettuce - yum! Are you sure we're at a golf course?!

70 bucks for a round that should have been 35. Fairways very poor with mud patches everywhere. Greens appear recently aerated.

My instructor is Tommy Samaha and I am SO glad that I got him. He is kind, empathetic, and truly passionate about helping people learn how to golf. One minute with this guy and there is no mistaking that he lives for what he does!! He explains things in a way anyone can understand and in just a few months he has gotten me from an absolute rookie with NO golfing experience (I did not even know how to hold a club) to.... Well, still a rookie, but a rookie that almost has a fully formed swing! This man is changing my life and I look forward to my lessons with him every Monday. I do not leave a single lesson without a smile on my face! Aside from the instruction, the facility is perfect for someone looking to learn their swing for the first time or improve upon foundations they have already learned. Each lesson and practice will involve 2 camera angles that allow you to play back your swing in slow motion so you can really get a good idea of what you're doing well and what you're doing wrong. After each lesson you also get a recap of your lesson with playback videos and instructor voice overs to walk you through what you just learned so you can continue to build upon it. And if you're a sweaty person like me, it is an incredible privilege to learn in an air conditioned room during a hot Phoenix summer! The only thing I would change about this place is that there isn't ever any music going, so practice sessions feel a little quiet and tend lead to overthinking and frustration (for me, at least). Other than that, this place is amazing and I am so glad I decided to start my golfing journey here. Thank you, Tommy! You are such a treasure!!

My son and I attended their four day school and it was beyond any of our expectations. I have played golf for the past 15+ years and my son played a bit when he was younger, but he has not picked up a club for at least ten years. They have a max 4:1 student:instructor ratio, which gives the pros plenty of time to give each student the attention they need. My son just wanted to be able to play with friends and clients and not shank it off the tee. In four days, he only had one errant tee shot and, by the end of class, he was hitting 220+ off the tee, and straight! Both of our short games improved dramatically over the four day school. My goals were to get another 10-15 yards off the tee and to improve my short game, both of which I accomplished, and more. The pace is perfect, with four hours of instruction each morning and then a tee time to play every afternoon. The instructors took a sincere interest in each one of us in our group and the entire experience was well beyond both of our expectations. Also, when I went to sign up, I had a lot of questions and spoke with Scott on the phone. He spent a lot of time with me and left nothing unanswered. If you are looking for a fun and productive golf school, this is the one for you. Also, if you are going with friends or family members who are at different levels, from never hitting to single digit, you will all benefit and have a great time!!

Got them for a low price on eBay from a brick n' mortar golf store in Alabama. In excellent condition. 2 months ago out of curiosity I attended a Ping demo day at my local golf course. Wanted to smack some of the latest models of clubs. While hitting some balls rather poorly the Ping guy says to me "Here, let's put you in a green dot 2 degrees upright, it will straighten out your shots". 5 swings with arrow straight ball flights I admit that he is absolutely correct. So rather buy a whole set of new clubs for close to $1600 I decide to have my perfectly useable 8 year old Pings modified. I send them off to the factory repair shop. I learn that the waiting list for the work is 4 - 6 weeks. After a kerfuffle with my work order the clubs do come home to me in six weeks. I'm totally satisfied with the modifications. The shop even polished up the heads. My cost for modifying 10 clubs was $36 plus $20 for return shipping. Fantastic!
