Nice servers, reasonable food and drink prices, fun atmosphere. We were going to visit a different bar, but our Uber driver told us to come here instead because it'd be busier. He was right; the place was hopping on a Friday night. There was a band the night we visited but they were really, really bad. We kinda drowned them out while we enjoyed beers, wings, tenders and fries. We asked our server about other good places in the area and appreciated her recommendations. The bill wasn't a huge shock. Prices seemed good for being smack-dab in the downtown Falls area. I'd recommend travelers stop in during their visit to the area.

This place is okay, a typical neighbourhood type pub I guess. I only go here after Taps Brewpub up the street closes because the beer and food is way better there. Also was a fistfight last time I was here with a bunch of over intoxicated teenage idiots, not the best way to end a night with your SO but whatever Took points away because they only show UFC and not Boxing, pretty weak for a pub not to show the Mayweather fight

    Taco, wings, house salad.

Friendly local sports bar. Pool tables. Nice staff. Very good selection of beers. Daily specials. The house made spicy burger and the wings are OK. The fries are terrific and the house salad was very fresh! Tacos (more like a burrito) were really good and the nachos at the table next to us looked tasty. Outdoor patio is OK - it's very shady in the afternoon. We've been here several times and enjoyed it.

Jalapeño cheese ravioli and labatt blue beer. Yummy

Stopped for a beer after arriving in town. VERY friendly bartender which was not always the case at places nearby.

Average beer selection. Pizza and wing deal on game night is totally worth it. Pizza and wings are both good.

The Loose Moose looked like a great place to grab dinner, drinks and watch the hockey game. We were so right! After ordering drinks, Megan (aka 330M) came over to get our food order and she was high energy and we could tell we were going to have fun. She took our orders and got our drinks. Each time she came back we had some laughs. My wife's Mexican bowl came back minus the requested chicken. Megan took care of this in no time and comp'd it for the mistake. WOW - you don't see that kind of service any more. Our food (mine was a chicken avocado club) was hot and so good. We opt'd for the sweet potato fries and Megan said it was a good choice. She was so right - they were excellent. Megan and her partners kept our drinks filled and made sure everything was great. The bar was packed with sports fans and folks coming in out of the cold but we never felt crowded. You could tell this is a popular bar with the locals - always a good sign. Thanks to Megan and the Staff, we had a fun time and awesome meal. If we weren't heading home tomorrow, we would definitely go back again. We highly recommend the Loose Moose for its great food, drinks and Staff. Cheers, L&J Henderson NV USA

So when I found myself on a recent Tuesday afternoon, I figured I'd better finally stop in. I showed up around 4:30 and the bar was already pretty packed, but luckily for me a couple of people were just leaving and freeing up a spot at the end. Score! I wound up taking advantage of the Happy Hour and grabbing a pint of a very tasty lager. I figured I should probably also have a bite, so I decided to go with the very affordable Taco ("cabbage, chipotle aioli, cilantro, onion, lime") and I got the Marinated Steak option. It's a decent taco. The chipotle aioli is quite tasty and zesty, and the other components, including a very fresh-tasting tortilla, are just as good. The meat was a little questionable, however, as it had a vaguely unpleasant flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on. Still, it was a cheap snack that I ate quite quickly. I can definitely see why the Wheat Sheaf Tavern has been around so long. The vibe was very welcoming and the bartender was super nice. I'll definitely return.
