I had booked two limos last July 2019 for my upcoming wedding this April 2020. I received confirmation numbers for both limos as one was for the groomsmen and one was for the bridesmaids to take both parties to the chapel before the ceremony. I even paid off one limo as my deposit to secure my reservation. I recently called 3 weeks ago as I had not heard anything from this vendor and wanted to pay off the other limo since some time had passed since the deposit. I talked to at least 3 different employees all of whom said would have to call me back and also stating they did not have the second limo and would have to contact ANOTHER limo company to get the limo I had already reserved back in July. I even had one employee try talking me into 2 smaller SUVs and a car when I had stated I want my bridal party to be together. Never ONCE did I receive a phone call back and the miscommunication between the employees was truly unprofessional. I finally booked with another limo service and asked for my money back. I'm very sad as this company was at the top the recommended vendor list given to me by my venue. Rented on 7/29/2017 to transport bride and groom home following wedding reception at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing. They were a NO SHOW and all attempts to call were redirected to another phone # that just went directly to voice mail. Worst experience ever. Do not use this company. read more

I rented the Lincoln Navigator stretch limo for my June 22nd wedding that was listed as seating 14 people. I was pleasantly surprised when the driver arrived to pick up by bridal party nearly half an hour early. She was very polite, opened doors for us, dropped us off right where we wanted to go, got us places on time, etc. My issue with our experience was that no matter how long we had the "air conditioning" on, it never cooled down in the limo. Imagine 14 people in formal wear on a 87 degree summer day smashed together in a vehicle with no air conditioning. By the time we arrived at the reception venue, we were wilted from the heat. My younger brother actually felt sick. Which brings me to my next point... the limo was too small for 14 people. One of the bridesmaids actually had to sit on the floor so that everyone could sit comfortably. I think a more realistic number would have been 12. Aside from the heat and not enough room, we had a good experience. Would I do it again for $740? Probably not. I have not contacted Grand Limousine Inc about getting reimbursed for any of my payment because the "NO REFUNDS" policy is very evident on their website and I don't want to waste my time. read more

ARRIVED A FULL HOUR LATE, and we missed our engagement. This past Friday, my family rented a limousine from Grand Limo for a retirement party. We booked a month in advance - the pick-up was scheduled for 4pm, we were to travel approximately 45 miles, and had a 6pm dinner reservation at a prestigious restaurant (that books reservations weeks out on a normal night, let alone a Friday evening during the holiday season). The limo was a surprise for the retiree and part of a big send-off - her co-workers/family would all be outside to bid her a farewell and she'd be able to step into a limo for her grand exit. The weather reports all predicted snow that day, and we did get about an inch starting around 2pm. At 3:30, we received the first text stating that our car service would be late by approximately 15 minutes. I was disappointed, but the party was still going and we DO live in Michigan, so... no problem. (We had several people attending from out of town and they were all on time, having left early to accommodate for weather conditions.) We received 3 texts following the initial one, stating that the driver was going to be an additional 10-15 minutes late, due to highway conditions. At this point, it's 4:30 and people were leaving. The limo arrived a FULL HOUR LATE. At 5pm, the entire party had dissipated, the staff was cleaning, and the guest-of-honor was sitting in her coat, asking us what exactly it was she was waiting for. The "grand exit" turned into a long, annoying wait and a sadly unceremonious pick-up, after we told her the "surprise" plan. We traveled back the same way (same highway) that the limo had come from - we made it to our destination in an hour, roughly 10 minutes longer than it would normally take. We tipped our driver, despite our disappointment, and went in to the restaurant - only to find out that our reservation had been given away, seeing that our party wasn't there on time. We ended up waiting an additional 90 minutes, in the pub, for another table to open up. Despite ALL of this, I tried to be understanding. However, I did want to let Grand Limo know that we did not use the 2 hours we paid for, and were charged for. I called twice, and a supervisor (Alicia? Felicia? She wouldn't give me her last name) finally called me back. What happened next was so shocking, that at some point I actually put her on speaker and walked into my neighboring office, JUST so my colleague could hear how unbelievable this person was. Alicia/Felicia was furious at me "for complaining", and I was repeatedly (REPEATEDLY) told that she "ain't Mother Nature, honey". When I tried to explain the situation, she repeatedly yelled over me, saying that I don't know anything about limos (no contest, there) and was belligerently angry when I said that our guests, which were from the same area as the limo service, were able to make it. When I told her the tardiness caused us to miss our dinner reservation, the response was: "SO?!" I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere, and asked for the owner's contact info. I was told that she, Alicia/Felicia, was the General Manager and that the owner "wasn't involved" in the business. ??? I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with, and was hung up on. Never in my life have I come in contact with such unprofessionalism and ridiculous behavior from a company representative. I don't know which was worse - the fact that Grand Limo turned what was supposed to be a lovely evening into a chain of small disasters, or the fact that I was berated and yelled at by a representative after calling with a concern. I would warn anyone against using them - especially if you're on any kind of schedule. read more

I hired car service for my 89 year old mom for a short trip out of town. Carl, the GM personally handled to reservation and the driver Rachel was wonderful. John, First, I wanted to say that I'm thankful that I didn't have to drive and locate parking for the Ford Field concert on August 17th. This was one of the primary reasons for booking a limo through your service for the occasion. I was under the impression that you would be our driver, as we were looking for someone seasoned in navigating Ford Field. Unfortunately, we were presented with Shannon. It was quite clear that she had never been there before. With that being said, I would like to bring to your attention a few things: 1. Upon getting into the limo, we were warned by the driver that it was very hot inside and informed that there was no air conditioning and that the windows were not operational. Immediately, I was concerned that we would be subjected to the heat and discomfort for the 90 minute trip. At that time, I actually considered canceling the service in light of the problems and enlisting my husband to do the driving. 2. Although we were uncomfortable, we decided to proceed with the privacy glass down to aide in the ventilation. 3. The driver finally figured out how to put the windows down about 30 minutes into our trip. The new problem was that we were now four ladies with hair that was professionally prepared for a concert and the wind was playing havoc with our preparations and made communicating very difficult. 4. The driver proceeded to m-52 and turning north to get on 69.... we informed her that we needed 96, so a u turn was necessary to get us back on track, costing us very valuable time as we had VIP tickets and were on a time schedule. 5. We asked to be dropped at gate E and we were subsequently dropped at gate A, which is on the other side of the structure. This caused another delay and 20 minute walk. It is important to note that I have trouble with long walks and pain in my knees. This was why we hired the service in the first place. How am I to stand in support of my daughter at her concert with knees that are now aching from an unnecessary walk? 6. I suggested to the driver that she pick us up near Montcalm and Brush. I am not familiar with the area at all, but felt that would be a reasonable location. 7. During the concert I received multiple texts from the driver, indicating where she was parked. These texts and subsequent nurturing were very unclear, e.g. I'm in front of Comerica park behind a bus...follow the crowd and look for a red and blue flashing light....Just for the record, I had no idea where that was, nor did the "crowd" all move in the same direction. I asked for more specific directions and received a message stating that we should go to the tiger and look left....? Do you know how many Tigers there are at Comerica Park? We finally found the limo 45 minutes later and after walking what seemed like an eternity in excruciating pain and in the dark. One of the girls in my group actually tripped over someone sleeping on the sidewalk. Needless to say . . . my past experiences with limo services have been much more in alignment with my expectations. As entrepreneurs, we understand how valuable feedback is in helping to refine systems and personnel to create customer joy and resulting referrals. Although we did make it to and from our destination in one piece, for which I'm thankful, we continue to be severely disappointed and encourage you to make some sort of gesture to make things right. I said thank you. I mentioned that John Speer was to be out driver per a conversation that I had with John Speer, he said no one told him that and if I would have requested him it would have happed. I said I did request him (john Speer) and was told by him personally he would be out driver. He again said, I (jh) wasn't told. I said ok, so we didn't have John, moving on we had Shannon, the air didn't work, he interrupted me and said the air worked just fine she didn't push the right button, I said ok so her lack of knowledge became our discomfort? He said it was her fault. I proceeded to tell him that we had to redirect her to 96 for she was heading north to 69, she mentioned that she had never been to ford field. I begin telling him about the other experiences covered in the email and he interrupted again saying I am not happy with that driver, I said You aren't happy?....
