I checked in quickly and given parking passes. It seems you can park in the attached garage or the adjacent city parking lot. Be aware the parking garage in the hotel is very small. I'd say maybe a little more than a dozen cars could park there at once. The room was spacious and clean. However when we were there, and probably one of the few times in the year this happens in south Florida it was a bit chilly. This hotel does not have heat. The only option in the room is ac. That was annoying but I just turned off the system and it was fine. The room had a nice sitting area, TV and a fridge which comes in handy. The bed was nice, but the pillows were very soft. I called and had some more delivered fairly quickly. We were located fairly close to the main road in Dania Beach which proved to be a bit loud from time to time. I'd guess the rooms on the western end would be quieter. The communal areas were clean and tidy and the few interactions we had with the staff were good. Everyone was helpful and kind. There are a few restaurants nearby as well which we took advantage of. The hotel is an easy drive to the Fort Lauderdale airport which was great.

The hotel is well staffed with someone always available to greet you and take care of any questions. We arrived before check in and they were already able to get us into a room which was such a win after an early morning flight down. The rooms are amazing with a separate sitting area and bedroom area. The wall between has a swivel tv stand, so you can spin it a full 180 around to watch in bed. The bathroom has a huge shower with easy entry and a bench in the back. We didn't use much of the kitchenette, but a full fridge, countertop stove, dishwasher, and microwave would make this a great place to stay! The breakfast is included with lots of hot foods and plenty of pastries and fruit. Unfortunately for our stay, they were having maintenance issues with the close elevator broken down and a horrid smell coming from the hallway in between. The biggest perk though is the proximity to Dania Point. We walked over a few times to enjoy the local restaurants and shopping!

There were some major hits and misses with this hotel though. Here's what I loved: -The amenities: they have free airport shuttle, WiFi, a swimming pool, laundry room, full size refrigerators. -The bar- it's always nice being able to grab a drink in your hotel! The bartender was chatty. He made good drinks and provided great conversations! -The room layout: spacious and accommodating! Perfect for families or people traveling for extended stays! While there is no stove or oven you can get a lot dine with the convection microwave that they have. -Free Breakfast- complimentary breakfast includes a breakfast buffet that has fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast/bagels, and a protein. (The protein is usually a pork option, flagging for those with dietary restrictions!) Here's what needed to be better: -our bedding had yellow stains on them. We took them down to the lobby and when we exchanged them the next two sets we were given also had yellow stains! This is a problem that management needs to look into. No guest should sleep on yellow sheets! -The pool was pretty dirty. There were cigarette buts and other debris floating in the pool. It's peak travel season. The hotel should do a better job keeping the pool clean. -ice: there is no ice machines on site. Your fridge has an ice maker in the freezer. Overall for the convenience and price this hotel could be a good option once the hotel irons out the cleanliness issues that I outlined above.

Le Méridien - Overnight Stay Review…read more I stayed overnight at Le Méridien. I had requested an early check-in and, as a Titanium Elite member, I was hoping to be accommodated by around noon. Unfortunately, my room was not ready until 1:30 PM, which was a bit disappointing. The room itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We dined at the café in the evening and ordered the braised beef and pizza--both were excellent. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of my stay, with great quality and selection. One downside was the internet, which was not very reliable during my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but improved check-in timing and better Wi-Fi would make it even better.

Nonetheless, I made use of my 1 night stay in Fort Lauderdale. Location: within proximity of the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL). Airport shuttle is available (upon request at an airport terminal, and beginning at 5AM every 30 minutes from the property itself). We had a hard time requesting the shuttle service and so opted for (albeit a 10 minute $26 Uber ride) to get to the hotel. Registration: the staff were kind, courteous, and resourceful. We had arrived just past 11AM, with our bags stored away, and went to explore the town while our room is being prepped for arrival. Claim to Fame: Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of Florida. We took a stroll on a Water Taxi across the waterways, as suggested by the hotel staff. The Stay: Le Meridien is known for having minimalistic yet modernly designed hotels, and this was no different. The color palate is pale green, grey, and accented with blue and red. The lobby is spacious and shares the space with a bar, a library themed seating lounge, and a restaurant. The room itself was also spacious with a rustic feel. White walls, mahogany furniture pieces, and a barn door to a well sized bathroom. This is by no means a luxury hotel but provides relaxed comfort. Utilization: we dined at the hotels onsite restaurant for a quick dinner. The menu was simple; salads, soups, burgers, pizza, and beverages. Prices were on the moderate side, but definitely value in portion. I ordered a margarita burrata pizza with a side of French onion soup, while my friend ordered the house burger with fries. We both returned to our room satisfied. We hopped on the hotels complimentary airport shuttle the following morning, which only took a total of 10 minutes. The only downside was that there were no slippers available and neither did the hotel staff knew if the hotel has or provides them. Nonetheless a well rested stay.

His behavior toward my wife was immediately noticeable -- he was visibly checking her out during check-in, and he knew I saw it. I let it go. That was a mistake. We checked out early the next morning around 5:30am to catch a flight. Aaron was still at the desk. After we turned in our keycards and walked toward the valet, Aaron had called my wife back to the front desk -- separating us while I loaded the car making it seem like there was an error checking out. He then used that opportunity to proposition her: offering discounted rooms booked personally through him outside of normal hotel channels, suggesting she get a room with him, and requesting her phone number, email, and Instagram account. Let that sink in. A hotel employee deliberately separated a married couple he had just watched check in and out together, then made sexual advances on the wife the moment she was alone. What makes this even more alarming is that Aaron appears to be running an unauthorized side hustle -- renting rooms personally and off the books using his employee access. An employee who solicits women, operates an unsanctioned room rental scheme, and deliberately isolates female guests is exactly the type of person who should not have unsupervised access to hotel rooms. I would strongly encourage management to audit every room this employee has had access to for hidden cameras or recording devices. The privacy of every guest who has stayed here is a legitimate concern. This is not a lapse in customer service. This is predatory, harassing conduct on your property. I have contacted the hotel manager, the general manager, and am escalating to Hilton Corporate. Do not bring your partner or family here. Do not trust this property.

The airport was hectic, so we kept an eye out for the SpringHill Suites shuttle van and sign and found it easily. Check-in was fast and smooth. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even provided us with a welcome bag and water thanks to our Marriott status. I also asked for a recommendation for local Caribbean food and she absolutely nailed it! We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with two beds. The room was spacious with a comfortable couch, kitchenette, and desk area. It's a little dated, but honestly totally acceptable for a beach town. The beds were comfy, pillows were plush, and the AC was on point. The bathroom mirror was also fantastic for doing makeup. The hot breakfast in the morning was just what we needed before heading out, and when we realized we forgot a toothbrush they kindly provided one right away. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again because of the friendly staff, great lobby vibe, spacious rooms, and overall convenience. The only downside was the pool closing at 8pm. It would have been nice to at least sit and relax back there later in the evening.

My schedule and the weather didn't cooperate, so other than it looking nice I can't say much more. Shopping is literally right in front of the hotel, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of choices. I didn't have a car for the week and had a lot of options, but did have to order Target delivery for some grocery and forgotten toiletries. Sweet outdoor but covered terrace on second floor, that was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet is on site but expensive, so be prepared. There is a coffee place on the first floor (in the same building as the hotel, but separate from it) if that's your style.
