looked up places to get my nails done in denton that was close to campus to get them done while in between classes. this place had the best ratings so i decided to try them out. upon arriving i was greeted very nonchalantly and asked what i was getting and i told them full set of nex gen. i was taken to a chair and just left there for 15-20+ min with no communication on what was going on and ultimately no one ever came around. they didn't even give me nail books to look at so i could choose my color. I am not an impatient person and wouldn't have minded waiting at all if someone would've just communicated with me on the situation at hand. but instead i was left in a seat with random employees just helping themselves in the recliners on their phone. doesn't seem like walk ins are much of a priority on their list, make an appointment. read more

Came here, got seated quickly which was nice! I had shellac on that was barely there and instead of them soaking it in acetone and letting it scrub off the lady filed my nails down with a filer that I could've easily done the same at home and they still charged me $5 for the shellac removal!! As she was cutting my nails she cut my thumb and I jumped and she still continued cutting and filing as my finger was literally bleeding!! I was ready to leave as she asked me to pay upfront, I said no numerous times and she insisted as "I could ruin my nails later trying to get my card" I said no and no that I'll pay after and she INSISTED without proceeding to work on my nails. I let her know I was a student and she still charged me without the discount then when I told her I was a student she looked at me and was annoyed that she had to void the last check!! So ridiculous, then she watched me as I signed the corrected check almost making me feel like I had to tip her graciously for a poor job. A day later my thumb is still hurting a bleeding from time to time, both tabs were taken out of my bank account and neither returned yet, and my nails are poorly done where you can see one coat is and the other coat isn't fully covering it. I used to like this place but sadly will not be returning especially if I never get my money back for the incorrect transaction. read more

My nails look great. They did an amazing job on my nails. However I tried to use a coupon and they told me to save it for next time instead of letting me use it. They also charged me $55 for nexgen dip nails and I've never been charged more than $45. I thought the price was very steep. I won't be back because of this. Great customer service but horrible manicure & pedicure. I got tips with dip and my nails are crooked, the polish is somewhat see through and my cuticles are worse than when I went in. My pedicure started peeling off hours after I left the salon, and at the end when they told me to wait for my nails to dry they forgot about about me and no one checked on me for 20 minutes. read more

This was my favorite nail salon previous to my last experience. I went in a couple of days ago to get one nail fixed and had to wait an hour before being served, having 4 people who came in after me be helped before me. To be served, I asked the manager how much longer it would be, to which he responded as if I was an inconvenience. After getting my nail fixed (which took another half hour), I was handed my wallet and told I could tip at the counter. Great nails, terrible customer service. I will not be coming back. read more

I went and got a pedicure and full set here. They had me waiting with my hands in acetone and feet in water for over 30 mins. I expected to wait because I was a walk-in but no one told me how long I would be waiting or gave me any updates. I got a multicolored set and I picked out all my colors and wrote them down. The owner asked me if I'd like to do dip nails instead because they were "better." I asked him if there was a cost difference and he said no & I asked if they had the same colors I picked and he said yes. When I finally started getting my set done they started the dip and I was skeptical at first because the colors were all pink and I didn't pick pinks but I've never had dip before and I thought they would change color. After one nail was done, I asked the nail tech to if they'd change colors he said no and after a long ass time I finally explained to them the problem and then the nail tech shaped my nails terribly. I had to tell the tech to not make them so thin because the last time I came my nail broke after one day. The tech left a piece of lint in my nail and when I asked him to fix it he said he couldn't which was BS so I have a hair embedded in my nail as well. My boyfriend also got a manicure and the woman sped through it and when she was done there was still dirt under his nails. He asked her to clean them and she didn't get all of it. Took my bf for his first pedi- this place is wonderful! Both of our techs were very nice and did great with the leg and foot massages. It's a huge Salon too- would be perfect for a large group. I will definitely be coming back, and my boyfriend says his first ever pedicure was very relaxing and gentle. 5 stars! read more

WORST nail experience ever!!! (long read but be ware) showed up 15 minutes early, to have to wait 40 minutes for them to start. came with a friend to get our nails done. her nails turned out alright, thanks to Heidi! however, my nail color ended up looking purple when I picked white... I asked him to change the color a few nails in and he insisted the color was white and not purple. he finished the set and the color was obviously purple so I asked to see the nail book again... I showed him the color I picked (129) and he told me he wouldn't re do the nails. I went to the front in almost tears to pay and the man behind the counter told him to re do my nails. once he started to re do them he was very angry and rough on my hands. three of my fingers were bleeding due to his horrible service... the nails were clunky and the powder wasn't filed down properly. I tried to make small talk with him while doing my nails and he told me to "hush and watch the tv"... I left in actual tear and the man from the front desk followed me out in the parking lot and offered me a "giftcard". I thought this was a nice gesture.. until I went back (to get my eyebrows waxed) and there was only $4 on the giftcard... what. a. joke. never going back!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Honestly if I could leave a negative star I would. I got a gel manicure after being assured that it would last 2 weeks. Within 2 minutes of leaving the salon I looked down and polish had already started peeling from my finger. Having just spent $50 on them I went back inside and told the manager and he told me they would fix them because "sometimes the machine doesn't harden them all the way" - something I have never heard or experienced in all of my years of getting my nails done. Three days pass and I notice that another nail has started to peel and the finger next to it has hair trapped under the polish. I was extremely frustrated as I was assured that this would last me at least 2 weeks and I have a full schedule so I don't have the luxury of popping in the salon whenever. At this point all I want is a refund since this is the 2nd problem I've had with them in a few days and I don't have availability to come back to get them fixed but the manager was very dismissive and refused. I'm very upset that not only have I wasted money but I've wasted precious time as well. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DON'T BOTHER COMING HERE. read more
