I had white tips but I was hoping to pay extra to go over the white tips with color, NOPE Helen said that wasn't possible I'd have to get a whole new set. I tried to explain to her my nails are thin and I'd pay extra if I don't have to put on new tips(still nope!) She also kept insisting I get shellac polish instead of the color acrylic I wanted. The guy that does my nails wasn't there yet so before he showed up she began cutting my acrylic nails with fingernail clippers and ripping them off. By the look on my face she knew it was hurting me but proceeds to tell me "see that didn't hurt at all"! Last time I got my nails done I chose 5 different blue acrylic powders from the wall to have on my nails. This time she said I can't use any of the powders on the wall, I could only choose from 5 neon colors. I ended up getting a new full set but my finger nails are hurting from her ripping my old set off. I will not be returning here. I've never had a problem any other time. Maybe she was having a bad day but not my fault. I will pay extra else where just to be treated with respect! Nobody wants to pay money to be treated poorly. (I paid $72 for ombré full set plus $15 tip)

I don't know the name of the woman who worked on me, but I think she had never done EITHER before!!! Took out the giant toenail clippers and started hacking away without asking if I wanted that, my feet had only been in the water about 30 seconds. Forgot to put on a top coat and then took me over to the manicure desk. It only went downhill from there . She messed up my manicure at least 5 times by bumping my hand and then globbed on very thick goopy polish. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe it. Took forever as well. Sorry to say I don't recommend nor will I ever be back.

If he's ever unavailable, his wife is amazing too! She does such a great job and I always feel totally confident booking with her. What sets this salon apart is not just their skill, but how much they care about staying current. They travel all over to learn new techniques, keep up with trends, and bring back the latest products. You can really tell in the huge selection of colors and add-ons they offer! The atmosphere is another big reason I keep coming back. They're so warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I've come in with some pretty complicated design ideas before, and they're always excited to try them. And if I have no clue what I want, they'll actually take the time to help me figure something out instead of rushing me. One thing I really appreciate is how comfortable they make me feel. At other salons, I've felt intimidated speaking up if I didn't love the shape or color, but not here. They're super approachable and genuinely want you to be happy with your nails! They're also really kind and accommodating. If I ever have a nail break, they'll get me in quickly and fix it for little to no cost. I called to see if they had time for me, they said yes and I arrived 2 hours before they closed for a full set. First they cut me taking off my old set. Then they had me soak my nails which burned very bad where they had just cut me. I sat there with the foil on my fingers for a full hour and a half before they could get back to me. Eventually I just took the dried foils off and waited. By the time they finished helping literally everyone else I was the last person in the salon, getting my nails done a full hour after they had closed. They nails looked good but because they rushed putting them on the designs were crooked and over the next week three of my nails just popped off like they were press ons. For making me wait 2 extra hours on top of the maybe one hour it took to do my nails and for the cutting my finger they offered me a $15 discount. I didn't think it was very fair but I paid $80 PLUS TIP for a full set. Then they proceeded to keep popping off throughout the week. I had to glue four of the nails back down. I called today to come back for a new full set and a pedicure. I expected to pay full price for a pedicure but kindly requested the nail set be discounted because of the poor service and super poor results from my current set. I've never had multiple nails pop off like this. The person answering the phone and Nick the manager were both argumentative. They refused any discount on my nails because they already gave me one... even though the discount was not considering the retention of the nails. I really did like this place before I realized how poor their customer service is. Would have been a loyal customer but when they mess up they will take almost nothing off the cost and argue with you about it.

I have to keep them short for work…read more I feel like I keep trying to give different nail artist a chance and I always end up with shorter nails than I came in with and thick square nails. I had requested rounded squares and they just seem wider at the ends than my natural nails. They tried to sell me on tips and I just can't get over the prices. Anyone I know who gets their nails done here at this length end up looking the same. I paid 43$ for a dip polish, no manicure, cuticle work, prep or removal. Hard to convince myself to go back.
