First time I visited this shop, I had a great experience. A young man did my powder dip nails, they lasted without a chip for about 8 weeks! The second time, I had a young female with a bad attitude, like I was inconveniencing her by having a service done that she gets paid for. Won't go back. There are plenty of shops who appreciate their customers. The other people I encountered in the shop, receptionist, pedicurist, etc. were very nice, but that manicurist should not be in the service industry. Plus she did a horrible job on my nails. Had a very long day and when I'm Midlothian decided to try someone new. I requested a pedicure and fill in of my nails. The vibe is great with at least 10 technicians working. I've never had a pedicure where I get a nice snack plate of grapes & pineapples. The over the top was when the technician pulled orange slices out and massaged my legs with them. Talk about the Queen treatment, it felt so good! There is plenty of parking and the atmosphere was great. read more

I would not recommend this salon. I've been here twice and both times I feel my service was lack luster. Both times I went I was rushed out of the salon. During my most recent visit I wanted my Gel X set removed and a gel polish manicure. I told the technician to keep the length of my natural nails , she did not and cut them short anyway. They took all day and also did not offer me anything to drink, but other guest I had got my feet done on March 7th here it is March 16th and the gel polish I got is literally falling off. I paid $60. The staff is very nice in my experiences. My spa pedicures have always been worth the money because I just go in for the callous treatments and scrubs, and then get clear coat after. If you only need spa services and some tough love on your feet, this is the place. I especially enjoy the rough message after the spa treatment. The quality of the painted nails varies. Staff will put a bit of pressure to choose more expensive options and hover over you and expect tips. read more

I went here with an appt for myself and daughter! 1p for our pedicure and 2p for our nails! they sat us down at 1:15, we sat in the chair with water in the bowl for 35 mins no one had come back to start our pedicure. at 1:45 someone the owner walks towards the back and I ask him for a towel so that we can leave because it's been 45 mins and we hadnt been serviced yet and not to mention they are suppose to start our nails at 2. He says to me "oh they coming now and will do both at the same time." okay cool! My daughter gets her nails and toes done as promised at the same time. Meanwhile the gentleman who is doing my toes wraps my fingers to help soak the dip off and start my pedicure. 2:30 rolls around and the young lady Sarah who is suppose to be doing my nails never comes to the back to start them. around 3:15ish they finshed my pedicure and my daughter is done with her nails and toes yet my fingers are still wrapped. I had to ask the gentleman who did my pedicure to just file my nails and put clear polish on so that I can leave. I was not only charged for it but my appt at 2 was never fulfilled. I sat in that place for almost 3 hrs just for a pedicure. Sarah Not once said anything she walked around and did 3 ppl nails since I was there. The owner only said sorry but sorry doesn't cut it when they are concerned about making money instead of the integrity. I have come here in the past and got decent nails. But today was very different. First I waited 30 minutes for someone to even come to do my nails when I was told one second someone will be with you. And then he comes to do my nails, and does two different techniques on both of my hands so one hand looks way better than the other. My nails are extremely thick and chunky. Then I asked for a simple initial design on one hand and he kept arguing with me that the way I wanted it was gonna be no good. Not to mention uneven. I paid $157 for a simple acrylic set and pedicure. They definitely overcharge and the guy who did my nails took forever. He kept overfilling my nails until they broke and he had to start over. They add $10 for manicure when I didn't even ask for one and force you to tip at the end. It's only been a week and two of my nails have broke off. One person started on my pedicure then a woman comes and starts taking off my gel while I'm getting pedicure (totally normal) then she starts doing my fill as I'm sitting in the chair. I have both hands crossed over each other and she has the gel light on my lap. Most uncomfortable experience in the world. I have not only have to stay still for my gel pedicure but then have to struggle as this lady is grabbing my hands and nails attempting to do a fill on me as I'm trying to relax and get a pedicure. Had a terrible experience here today for a pedicure. Walked in and asked about the wait, was told 15 minutes (I don't mind waiting, I didn't have an appointment). After 15 minutes they took me back and sat me in a pedicure chair, where I waited 15 more minutes. As I was about to leave the owner (?) came by and said someone was coming and they filled the bowl and I put my feet in. 30 minutes later the water was cold and I'm still waiting for my pedicure to start. I couldn't leave because I had no towel to wipe my feet. Once someone did come by to start, I chose the Heavenly Dream pedicure and it was a sad disappointment. 25 minute massage? Nope - less than 10 minutes and she literally just barely rubbed by feet/legs. $60 and 2.5 hours wasted. I was so mad when I left what should have been a relaxing experience just made me upset. The inside is very pretty, they offer fruit & drinks but I did not necessarily love the place. First off the lady who serviced me continued to try and upsell me! I told her I would normally upgrade my pedicure but i didn't have much so was just trying the basic + gel polish which turned out to be $55 btw, $35 basic pedicure + $20 for gel polish. Anyways, she sped thru my pedicure like she was losing money! This was a Tuesday morning so they obviously were not busy and I was not at all holding her up. I've stayed away from this place because of the bad reviews, until today when I was close by, they were the only place open so early, and I was in dire need a pedi before the weekend. I'm so happy I did! Mary did a wonderful job! I've been trying to grow out the gel that I used to get that was making my nails flimsy. I had recently broken one and they were in rough shape. I got a basic manicure too, with no polish. The bill was $60 for the pedi and $20 for the manicure. I would say it's a little on the pricery side but I've had a hard time finding a decently priced place down on Hull St. They gave me a little neck warmer and a little plate with some fresh fruit. The atmosphere is amazing, the place is gorgeous and I had a good experience today. Will definitely come back! read more

Amazing nail salon alert! Not only is this place BEAUTIFUL, but it's totally COVID safe! They have really nice barriers and because they're brand spanking new they are already super clean and clearly plan on keeping it that way!! Good prices and I had a great nail tech, Tony. He did wonders with my terrible nails and gave me some tips on how to keep them looking nice. In the photo ignore the terrible cuticles, that's totally my fault (I'm a nail biter) and he literally made them look so much better!! I went here to get a pedicure for spring break, i looked online and thought it was beautiful, I finish up getting my toes done. Putting my shoes on and i take my socks off and all of my nail polish has come off from my toes.AFTER the lady had adamantly told me that my feet were dry and i could put my socks and shoes back on. I was given expired "medicine" (chemicals) to treat my ingrown toe nail.(after she had put it on my toes twice) Tried to tell me that i needed to go to the doctor but they proceeded to mess with my toes so now they are inflamed. Ok things run over... in that case as the manicurist you come over and let me know and give me a heads up, no worries wrap me, or have someone wrap me.... Dont have them lie and say you are NOT THERE! Horrifice customer service! When I shared my concern, and recommened she should have told me or text/ called me to let me know she was behind ( as I happened to be on travel and drove back 2.5 hours to show up on time) she advised she was "busy" I cant make this up. Some nice people, and some terrible and rude people and never an amazing nail job or massage or anything to brag about tbh. Wait times have been ridiculous at times and most of the staff is not good. Today might have been my last time due to bad service yet again. Please do NOT go to Abby she is rude and has a stank attitude but yet still expected and stalked me for a tip. When I show up for an appointment i booked two weeks in advance and you tell me it was put on the wrong date, yes I am upset. When you don't offer an apology for the inconvenience and essentially tell me to get over myself, I'm beyond mad. And when mistakes are made with scheduling the tech shouldn't try to throw the BRAND NEW desk person under the bus, she should help her in rectifying the problem. If there were just a simple, "Sorry for the inconvenience. Someone else can take you or let's reschedule." According to Helen, "Customers don't come first." I don't need to come first. I would just liked to have had my time and commitment to my appointment valued. Is that hard? Nail techs are all over RVA. Find yourself someone who respects your time and doesn't just think of you as just money in their bank account. read more

I came here because my normal place isn't open on Sundays and I desperately needed to get my nails redone before an event this week - and while I am ultimately glad with the end result, I will probably not be returning here. The 3 star rating is because my nails are pretty, but the customer service was terribly lacking. I got hopped around from seat to seat before my pedicure so they could accommodate others who came in after me, the water was SCORCHING hot and I kept telling the employee and she was obviously very bothered by the inconvenience of having to cool the water down. The employee who did my nails kept turning her head while using the drill and kept rubbing my skin with it and nicking my skin - no apologies, just kept doing it. I had an ombré nail design and she hardly put any polish on the second coat and I asked her for a little more and she scooped out a large amount on the nail brush, didn't wipe it off in the bottle, and literally globbed it on my nail. I looked at her and said that wasn't okay, and she immediately wiped it off and did it appropriately. Just very rude, not happy with the customer service at all but again the only reason why this isn't a 1 star rating is because my nails turned out pretty in the end. I went for a pedicure and the guy who worked on my nails chopped up my skin and toes so badly I didn't finish the pedicure and instead went straight home and applied Neosporin and bandages. While he was cutting/digging into my toe nails, he would wipe them on my bare leg and give me dirty glances. I screamed several times and told him to stop. I was with a group so I felt like I had to hang out because I didn't want to ruin it for them. I have NEVER had such a horrible pedicure. I was so excited to try this salon! It is absolutely stunning! There were plenty of wonderful things about this salon so I will list those first, but unfortunately my manicure left much to be desired. PROS: 1. Gorgeous facility. It was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. 2. The pedicure was on point! I got the Pomegranate pedicure. This included the usual basics as well as sugar scrub, hot stone massage, and paraffin. I really enjoyed the heated neck wrap as well. 3. Lots of color options. CONS: I had originally intended on only getting a pedicure, but decided to treat myself to a manicure as a Christmas present to myself. I paid $50 for a dip manicure and feel as though I got about $25 worth of service. 1. My nails were painted (dipped). Aside from that, not much else happened. No soaking of my hands, no shaping the cuticles or trimming. No sugar scrub. No paraffin. They were dipped and then buffed with the nail drill. The nail drill was also used to "trim/burn" my cuticles. Never experienced that before. Which leads me to... 2. While the very sensitive skin around my nail beds was buffed with the nail drill it not only burned/tore my skin off once, but twice. I bled two times. 3. The manicure was done during my pedicure. I usually don't mind this at all as it expedites the process, but this time it absolutely ruined my pedicure, which was the original reason I went in. I wanted to relax. This became impossible as I ended up bleeding twice, which already hurt and then alcohol (or whatever it is they put on it to stop the bleeding) stung me sharply. Relaxation over. This was during the sugar scrub massage portion of the pedicure, so that was ruined. 3. Lastly, I received no apology, no refund, nothing. So I am sad to say I will not be returning to this establishment. $100 wasted read more

Me and my mother came here for a fun little relaxing evening. The place looked very beautiful and we checked reviews before coming in very excited to try this place out! At the very beginning my mother was rushed away from the color by a technician and pressured to do the exact same color as before, giving her no opportunity to even look at the colors. She then sat my mom down and filled in the color. She didn't even bother to remove her dip nails and re-do her nails. And then put normal polish that wasn't even the same color over the nails which will cause them to chip. Then charged my mom FULL PRICE for doing half as much work. Then one lady was picking on my appearance with the other employees and forced another employee to do my nails. Left with one nail chipped, and non smooth nails that have clear brush strokes. Can revive better service for less. Do not recommend, terrible customer service and most definitely will rip you off of your money. read more
