Place is not child friendly at all. Very rude to people who have child with them. They asked everybody use upon arrive if they would like something drink and never asked me at all. My son have to go to restroom, and they blame it on him that water on the floor. He didn't even get to go to restroom or wash his hands and they running him out of the bathroom. Good place to go! They did a good job on my pedicure. I think its called the peppermint pedicure. Its AMAZING! They massage your feet and legs and put this cool peppermint past on with a hot towel on top. Best feeling ever! I did have to wait almost 25 minutes when I had already made an appointment so that was kind of annoying but other than that its a great place! They have free candy in cute jars and offer drinks while you get your nails done. This is my number one nail place to go to! Always seems busy so they must be doing good! read more

I go here every two weeks and I always love the results. Lam does an amazing job! I get acrylic nails with gel polish. He takes his time, and makes sure that I'm happy with the results. The ladies here always do such a great job on pedicures. They take their time, they don't do a lot of talking (which lets you relax), clean, free wi-fi with ipads available to use, snacks & drinks are free. My favorite person there is Lily. She's super sweet and very gentle. Love it! read more

Ann is AMAZING :) my feet get really dry so they aren't a pretty sight, even when I put lotion on them, etc. i went in last night to get a mani/pedi.. she didn't spend alot of extra time "scraping" my feet but I guess she just knows how to do it because today my feet are still just as smooth.. She kept asking me if I was okay with the hot towels and stones which was nice considering sometimes the stones are too hot. When it came time for my mani she did everything except put polish on my nails because she couldn't find her glasses and had Andy polish them... Some may think oh wow she needs glasses I'm not going to her.. But i really liked that she knew that if she painted my nails without her glasses it wouldn't have been a good job made me reassured that they strive for good service. I will definitely be going back to see Ann!! read more

After changing owners several times the have finally become a "nail mill" where you have to have your nails done be machines instead of people. Been going there for more than 3 years. They used to give you a quality product, but no more. Very sad. read more

The first time I went to Grand Nail Spa, I was treated like a queen! They serve you snacks in a little basket (a LOT of snacks) and a drink of choice, including sodas, wine, and beer. The chairs are in good shape, meaning that the adjustments AND the massage function work properly, a problem at a surprisingly high number of spas. I got an upgraded pedi and it was truly upgraded. They did at least five different treatments and also a fantastic massage, hot towels, and a hot stone massage. Heavenly! They did a great job trimming toenails and working on callous, etc. The paintjob was more than adequate and they ensured the polish was dry and no bully toes reeked polish-smearing havoc on some poor unsuspecting weaker toe, etc. I left telling myself I had finally found the spa to stick with in Texas (been here a year). However, on my second through fifth visits, this has started to fall apart quite a bit. Still had good chairs. Still had snacks and drinks. However, service and quality massage are DEFINITELY TECH DEPENDENT. What do I mean? Not everyone uses the same measure of quality, time, care in their pedicures, which aren't in the economical range, by the way. In fact, they rank from "What the h*** did I just pay for?" to "I think someone will need to drive me home because my legs have died and gone to heaven." I have gone enough times that they would still equate a three on the scale, but if they fall to two, I may have to move on. Try your luck on a visit to this spa and my wish for you is to get one of the good ones! Good luck friends! read more

After just relocating here from the Keller TX area, I have been looking for a nearby nail salon for my solar nails. I tried one near the Randall's in Round Rock. It was dirty, the tech was distracted and in a hurry. The nails started "lifting" within a day or two. In about a week it really started looking odd. Today I went to Grand Nail Spa and it was completely different. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and well organized. I enjoyed the awesome pedicure while relaxing with a snack and drink. My nail tech told me the discoloration on my nail was fungus starting to develop and it's good I did not wait to come in! I will definitely be going back. read more

Since my original review, Grand no longer offers fruit and cheese platter. I think the health dept may have nixed that. However, you are presented with a basket of packaged snacks and are offered a bottled or canned beverage. So, if you were hungry when you came in, you still don't have to leave that way. read more

This was my first time visiting this salon. I went in for a shellac manicure. I should have known something was wrong when I left, because my nails didn't feel as hard as they usually do after the manicure. They were soft. A few days went by, and I noticed that a few nails had cracks in the polish. Today, one completely chipped, and most of my nails have the cracked look. I don't think they use the proper curing techniques at this salon. I definitely won't be coming back. read more

I came with my daughters to get our wax done and it was a terrible experience! The small lady that wax my daughter took over 20 minutes! After we got home my daughter had small blisters on her eyebrow. She was so upset because it was her prom week. Her blisters are now getting infected and I took her to the doctor to get antibiotics for it. I always get wax and she was not experience at all. Bad service for the long wait. I wonder if she was even a license esthetician? Do not come here for waxes! read more

My daughter and I could not get an appointment with our normal nail technician at a different salon. When we drove by and saw the grand opening sign hanging outside the Grand Nail Salon. We dropped in, and were most impressed with the friendliness and cleanliness of the salon. We were offered a complimentary drink and a platter of snacks which was a nice touch. My daughter was offered the use of an iPad while she waited. Both of our sets look SUPERB and I've never been happier with a new set. I usually rush out to reshape mine, but Anita did such a great job that I walked out simply admiring them. The price is a little more than most places but I now see that like everything, you get what you pay for!!! I'm now a returning customer for sure! read more

Ann N. is right. I went to Grand nails to get my nails fixed after going to Enso's. That place is horrible. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a genuine smile, like they were excited to see ME. The nail polish selection here is far more than any other "normal" nail spa. I got to take my time picking out my nail selection (which was nice) cause Tammy was in the back.... I was wondering what she was doing but was quickly pulled back in by the pretty colors. Tammy emerged with a plate of goodies for my friend and I. My friend got a beautiful shellac manicure and I got my nails fixed and my toes repainted. The staff was friendly and I felt like they were my friends by the end of the first day rather then the 3rd or 4th time I go somewhere. I am excited and cannot wait to go back for a full pedicure and I am going to try solar since they have a huge range of powders as well. The iPads and free wifi are a plus. To "Sharon" who went there on June 17th 2013... Let me be the first to say that the whole point of making an appointment is so you won't have to wait to get whatever service you are wanting done. The definition of a walk in typically means you may have to wait a little while. That being said. I was there that day getting a pedicure by Anita (Andy's sister) when you walked in (not by appoint) wanting to get your nails done. They had informed you it would be 10 min before anyone could attend to you considering each employee was attending to someone else. Someone did accompany you with a beverage and a basket full of snacks while you waited and then came back to finish up my pedicure. You then wait maybe 5 minutes then leave. I'm not sure why you expected someone to drop what they were doing to attend to your needs. If you are wanting that kind of service try making an appointment next time. Needless to say all the ladies at this salon try very hard to meet your service in a timely manner and is by far the best salon I have ever been to. My friends and I all go there all the time and typically we normally go to Anita or Tammy but all these ladies know me and friends by name. There are times we have walked in without making an appointment and if they're not busy (which rarely is the case) they will get to us right away but most times they ask us to make an appoint to come back later. I am new to Texas and was preparing for vacation so I stopped by this place for a full acrylic set and a basic pedi. I chose place simply because of location convenience but was very disappointed with the service. To begin I called a few hours ahead of time to schedule an appointment In order to avoid a long wait - when I arrived they did remember I called but did not have anyone readily available, they had me sit in a pedicure chair soaking my feet and by the time the woman came to me to start my pedicure the water was no longer warm. Then I she completed my pedicure and put me at drying station and I was sitting there for about 20 minutes when I reminded the woman that spoke English that I also needed a full set and have been waiting 20 minutes. It took them about another 15 minutes for someone to become ready as they had already started doing nails for walk ins. So apparently an appointment does not matter at this place. Then I got my nails done and requested a flower design which was done very poorly, my 5 year old could've done it. All together I paid $75 for a BASIC pedi and acrylics set for sitting 3 hours and receiving poor service. The next day I flew out to my vacation and to really put the bow on top of this, my nail broke within 3 days. Then another nail broke on the 5th day. I will never go to this place again and would not recommend anyone to waste their time or their money read more

LOVE, LOVE this place!! Their staff is always friendly and they truly serve the customer! They make me feel special! I typically go for pedicures and I have always been more than satisfied! They always give me a "blankie" to cover my legs when I am wearing shorts/skirt. I have experienced their specials when they offer lunch! It was extra-special, as they even offered a vegetarian meal from Whole Foods!! The pedicure that I normally get is the peppermint and it is extremely relaxing, and all of the wonderful smells of the lotions just add to the experience! Management pays attention to the care you receive at this place! They truly care! All that I can say is they offer great service, products and their people are the ones that truly make the difference. The snacks and drinks are an added value...like a cherry on top of a sundae!! My friend an I were walk-ins. My true rating is a 4 1/2 only due to a few minor details. They were extremely friendly and professional. I lost a couple fingernails wedging my fingers between a door while moving a treadmill a while back. Not only were those nails carefully filed down and acrylic applied to smooth them out, but they were extremely sanitary with the entire process. Now I don't have to hide those two nails under bandages anymore! On top of that, I never reveal that I am Vietnamese at any nail salon because it truly makes eavesdropping on their conversations feasible. And trust me when I say... 9 times out of 10, these nail ladies are not talking bad about you or anyone else. There was no exception here. Many salons you feel as if they rush for high turn-over. Here they take their time to ensure quality. I was very happy with my shellac and pedicure. Now I wouldn't recommend this place if you are on a time crunch. My experience was 3 hours long as compared to the typical 2 hours elsewhere. BUT if you are up for being pampered and aren't in any hurry, then this is the perfect place for you. This salon has only been open for 9 months, so I'm assuming as each day passes that their operation will become more seamless. I still have loyalties to my usual nail salon (where the ladies are extremely friendly and hard-working) but this place is certainly giving them a run for their money! I did enjoy my pedicure here although it wasn't the best experience. I had an appointment with a friend at 6 we arrived 10 minutes early. As we waited choosing our colors, I smelled the strong smell of nail polish. My friend looked down and she had blue nail polish all over her sandals. I quickly grabbed paper towels but sadly the nail polishes ruined her shoes. Being the chill laid back gal that she is, she was very calm and said "whatever it's just shoes and they were only 5 dollars" For those of you reading I was spared and didn't step into the messy trap. We sat waiting already 15 minutes over our scheduled appointment time. Now I'll add I haven't gotten my nails done in some time. So I really don't know if waiting after a scheduled appointment is in the norm. Finally get to out luxurious spa chairs we sat and dipped out feet in the blue water. The water being a perfect temperature which my gal pal might say "my feet are in heaven" My girl Kelly did a great job cutting and tickling my feet with the scrubber she had a sense of humor which I enjoyed! My friend didn't seem to enjoy her experience since her pedicure took too long and she was left alone while I got my feet dried. All in all not bad! read more

Oh Grand Nail Spa..what have you done with ANDY?? I used to love coming to this place. I used to tell everyone about it and gave you high remarks . The first year you were open all was great. Something has changed. you are always short handed. Always a wait for whatever you need and the salon is not full. Today was the last time I will ever go here. I stopped by, no appointment, as I never know when i can get my nails done. She said 10 min wait. I started working on my laptop. she came to get me so I shut it all down. She left me in chair so i started working again, she came up and asked if i was ready and i closed it down again, as I would never waste her time. She got me water and snacks and then I see her go do somebody elses feet and leaves me sitting there again. Used to love this place. Andy was the bomb. I went in today with my 4 year old son to get my nails done and a pedicure. Of course because he's with me he wanted his toes painted red too, ok whatever I assume he wanted it because everyone else was getting stuff done too not a big deal. When it came down to doing it the MANAGER came over and said NO you're a boy for about 5 minutes. I should have that say whether it's a yes or no not her and for the reason to be because he's a BOY??? It made me uncomfortable having to say over and over to my young lady doing my nails to do his too and having the manager keep saying No don't do it he's a boy. Would they treat a man this way if he wanted his nails purple or blue? Probably not. They need a sign that says women only for nail salon if they don't want to do BOYS. My son got embarrassed and asked for me not to take him back. I don't like being treated like it's not alright for this to happen, its 2016 things like I requested happen all the time and I was willing to pay for it so it should be done. They only get 2 stars because Celina does a great job every time and did my son nails even after her manager said no, but I don't think I will go back, for how they discriminated again my child. read more
