I made an appointment and arrived. It was a husband and wife team working and the wife was the one that did my nails. Since I'm not very familiar with acrylics, she was asking me if I wanted to put just tips or the whole nail. I was confused and so she was showing me the difference. Since I just wanted a French manicure, I told her I just wanted the tips then. She then proceeded to tell her husband in Vietnamese that she shouldn't have given me the option because I ended up choosing the less expensive of the two. Now let me preface that I am Asian, Vietnamese to be exact. So I can understand everything that she was saying. I don't know why she didn't think that I could possibly understand what they were saying, but whatever reason she clearly did not think that I was Vietnamese. Was I super happy with my nails at the end of the day? It was just all right. I feel like the powder she put on made my nails look super thick and very fat and wide at the ends. Aside from not being too excited about my nails, the one star was because of the fact that her and her husband talked crap about every person in that salon and the people who were calling in to make appointments. I hate when they do this. They even complained about me, when they did my pedicure. They complained about the two ladies who left while I was there and how they were cheap and did not tip very well and scoffed at them about it. They complained about the older lady who finished her manicure and pedicure, and asked if she could get her eyebrows done saying that lady was needy and they will just get it done real fast just to get more money. And Nicole? If you are the Nicole that called in asking if you could come in on that Saturday for a manicure anytime after 10 AM and after putting you on hold for about five minutes and coming back and letting you know that they could do 11 AM or 2 PM and you chose the 2 PM. They proceeded to complain about you too about why you didn't choose the 11 AM if that option was there considering you said it needed to be after 10 AM. They said you could've saved them a lot of time if you just said you could come in at 2 PM instead of saying anytime after 10 AM because then they wouldn't have to figure out their schedule and figure a proper time that they could fit you in. Also, while she was doing my nails, it was very clear that her and her husband were playing some kind of video game on their cell phones, which involved farming or something because you gather stuff to get coins. She would literally do my nails with one hand and go feed her cows or whatever before the time ran out and she wouldn't get her coins. It got to the point where she would tell her husband to get on her phone and farm for her. He also was on his phone doing his own farming so they would argue about not helping each other out. Anyhow, any salon can do the most beautiful nails, but I would never come back knowing that all they do is talk crap about their customers in Vietnamese. If you frequent this place and think you're a favorite customer, I would think again. There were ladies walking out that they knew them by name. and would say see you next time and the minute they walked out would say something negative.

I've only been to this salon twice. First time was decent though even with an appt we still had to wait 45 minutes. The gentleman who did my nails was a bit grumpy but did do a good job though and the nails held up really well during the two weeks. Today I talked my friend and her daughter into trying this salon vs their normal. We had to wait as well which I didn't mind as we did not have an appt today. Not quite sure what happened but the gentleman who had done my nails prior was working on my friend got up and stormed out of the salon leaving her half done. The lady who was doing mine was yelling at him to get out and the girl who was doing my friends daughter got up crying along with the tech doing my daughters nails. We all just sat there like "what just happened". Once everyone returned my stylist really could care less about the customer perception side of it. I understand stuff does happen, staffing etc but I feel like she handled it horribly. She just carelessly went through finishing my nails and did a really crappy job doing so as she was not attentive to me whatsoever. Same with my friend. She also forgot about the fact I signed up for a pedicure as well as wax on top of it, still charged me $80 for a fill and my daughters polish change which I left and have now come to another salon to have my nails redone and other things completed. Talk about craziness. Truthfully I should give a 1 star though they did do a nice job on my friends daughters design. Definitely will not be returning and or recommending further. read more

I've been getting my nails done for 30 years. For the first time ever I got nail fungus and know it came from this salon. I took my daughter a few times with me, she's little, and her big toe nail fell off after our last visit! It was fungal caused. I stopped going here and at my next appt with a new nail place they filed down my acrylic and there was my very own fungal infection on my index finger. A few weeks prior I had gotten a new set at Grand Nails and that was the last I had my nails done. I. Am. Horrified. I used to love this place but the nail quality and customer service has been severely declining. I wanted to brave it out but after myself and my daughter had issues I will never come here again and recommend others avoid as well. The main woman does her best to be nice but the small guy who works at the front is so incredibly rude to boot. read more

Great experience, very clean and nice staff. I was able to get taken care of right away without an appointment. I found it cool that if you are getting a mani pedi, that one person works on your pedi while another person works on your mani. Im not sure if that was just because at that time of day, i was the only one in there at the moment, or if that if a regular thing; but I found it pretty cool. I was given a few books to look through to choose from a wide variety of polish colors. The pedicure was quick but thorough. The foot massage was heavily and relaxing. While I was at Tiaras numerous customers came I went. One thing they all had in common was that they seemed like regulars. Everyone was greeted with a smile and a question about how they've been since their last appointment. Overall the vibe was so relaxing and stress free, the price reasonable and the service impeccable.

They also had me sit in front of a small fan for about 30 minutes to dry, which didn't help much. Despite everything, I was still charged for the service. It's now been about two weeks, and my toe is still healing from the cut. Overall, this was not worth the time or money, and I left concerned about the quality and hygiene practices.

I was passed from one nail technician then back to Lisa, the technician who was originally recommended to me. Unfortunately, my nails started breaking just three days later, and I ended up having to remove the acrylic set myself. The shape was uneven, and overall, the nails looked poorly done and sloppy. I decided to give them another chance today and came in for a new set. I specifically told Lisa multiple times that I like my nails long and skinny. She acknowledged my request but still gave me her version of "long and skinny," which was not what I asked for. Instead, they turned out short and bulky and completely opposite of what I asked for. To make matters worse, the polish application looks like something I could have done myself at home. There was an air bubble on my nails and Lisa also applied three coats of polish trying to correct it, but the finish is still patchy and full of imperfections. I really wanted to support this business because of the recommendation, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I don't feel the quality, attention to detail, or customer service justify the price. After giving them several chances, I won't be coming back. Not to mention, Lisa had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end of the appointment. Tipping is meant to reward good service and quality work. Despite the poor results during my previous visit, I still tipped her. After this experience, I found it inappropriate to be asked for a tip again when my concerns were ignored and the work was not completed as requested.
