I think I'll be going here and only here in the future. Last Saturday noon, I walked in hoping they had a slot for me, which they did. I only had to wait for 15 mins or so. I got a Cat Eye gel pink, which totaled up to around $45 (it would've been $10 cheaper if it weren't Cat Eye and just a regular gel)! My nail tech Anny did such a wonderful job, I will be requesting her next time too. She was very gentle in the removal of my past gel -- I feel like I've had nail techs who kind of just chip away at the gel and my natural nail. But Anny was super gentle and was very detail-oriented with the clean-up and shaping. My nails looked so fresh and clean before she even painted it. The final results of her work are in the pictures I attached! One thing to note is that they do not accept Apple Pay, and I ended up tipping my nail tech through Venmo since I believe they only take cash. Total I probably spent $65ish with tip. It's been a week since going and my nails haven't chipped or anything, and the paint's still in tact. Love this place! read more

Went in for my first time to get my wedding nails done. Needless to say that was a mistake. I requested an ombre acrylic nail which they said they wouldn't be able to do acrylic with, but they could do dip which i was fine with, so long as it was the design i wanted. When I sat down, I showed the nail tech the photo of what I wanted and she said she didn't have the colors....to which I kept asking "you don't have white and pink" because as a nail salon, these are non-negotiable colors to have. Another tech came over and handed her the colors and from what I could tell, was telling her to just do it. She tested it out on an extension and it looked horrible. It was not ombre, it was half white and half pink. She called over another tech to tell me that she didn't want to do it on my nails because the acrylic would be too harsh which I knew was not true as I could see it was because she could not do the design, and she was still going to be doing acrylic on my nails, and she originally told me she wouldnt be doing acrylic anyways. So I had to change my wedding nail design last minute. When she was shaping my nails, she would ask me if it looked ok, and I would ask for a little fix and she would get so annoyed, just an extremely annoyed look on her face, and she was talking in another language with the other techs, and kept saying "ombre" which I knew was about me. It was in a very loud and not pleasant tone of voice so I knew she was not happy with my requests. To be honest, this was the exact opposite kind of experience I wanted getting my wedding nails done. I walked out extremely disappointed and almost embarrassed because of how big of a deal it all was made. I wish the other techs would have stepped in and taken over as it seemed like they knew what they were doing and would have been able to get done what I wanted. My son had given me a gift certificate for Mother's Day' so I could have a nice relaxing experience. I had been looking forward to a pedicure for weeks since my husband is on Hospice and it's difficult for me to get away. However, I found the owner/manager very rude and short with me and other customers. I never ever complain but her demeanor took me by surprise. If you want to find a good nail salon stay away from Pretty Little Nails. They need to be more focus on their customers than their bottom line. I really dislike salons that put their profit over people. For some people getting a pedicure is a luxury and a rare occurrence. This experience had the complete opposite effect. read more

First time at this salon. I just moved from the Tempe area and used another salon regularly. I asked for the same thing I always did there. Gel pedi and mani with matching colors. The lady handed me a ring of colors, I picked two... strike 1. They didn't have the color strike 2. They said they don't have matching colors 3. Asked for french tip - got told no... so after 2 hours I left with $67 spent and clear polish... I must have had the same tech as the other 1 star reviews as of late. Same demeanor... My friend has been coming here for almost 10 years, and when it came time for me to think about where I wanted to get my nails done for my wedding, she treated me to a mani and pedi here. It was really important to have something that lasted through the wedding into the next two weeks for our honeymoon. Christina is who I was with and she is the sweetest soul. My pedicure was amazing, and I did the liquid gel manicure. I am happy to report it lasted A MONTH. I have never had any manicure (Gel or Dip) last that long. That being said I have been to a lot of other salons (the popular valley favorite Prose being one of them). A month people...I am HOOKED. I will warn the liquid gel, stings? My friend warned me of the same thing. Which isn't pleasant but it's momentary. I was worried as stinging usually can't mean anything good, but the next time I went in my nails had grown and were not damaged. I even broke one off this week (slammed my finger in a door by accident, yes I'm clumsy) and even that painful break, my nail under neither was still healthy, and only a little scratched from it being ripped from my finger. Excellent service! A friend and i had an appointment for two pedicures. We were taken back quickly. The store was clean. I got a basic pedicure with white polish. I always get gel but I guess I didn't specify this time and they didn't ask so I ended up with normal polish. The pedicure was good and polish is well done. I know white polish can be tricky but the nail tech did a great job! My friend enjoyed her pedicure as well. She asked for a floral design and it was well done. We will be back! read more

Update: Owners response is a joke - I said I wanted a dip SET and no acknowledgment of my treatment or making me wait for 30 minutes. Like I said the pricing wouldn't have mattered if the staff wasn't so rude. I was asking for something very simple and was not treated kindly! I just wanted to get my nails done, I didn't need an attitude about it. Ended up paying the same price somewhere else and they were SO nice. Kindness goes a long way. TERRIBLE customer service!!! I called to see if they had availability, they told me a time to come so I went straight down. When I got there I asked how much it would be to get a dip set with just colored tips (like a French manicure but color - picture below it's not rocket science)... they told me it's $40 and $10 for the gel tips... I wait for 30 minutes even though I showed up early and when I get in the chair she tells me adding a tip is more so now the total cost would be $60! I honestly wouldn't have been bothered by the price if she wasn't so damn rude about it!! Trying to tell them I wanted color tips but with a dip base instead of acrylics was beyond hard, like I was speaking another language! I walked in and asked for a nail removal, the employee at the front treated me with disgust and loudly told me to wash my hands, so much so that her comment continued- she verbally continued to judge me as I made my way to the sink. Her coworker laughed and it peaked the current customers interest. I got to the sink area and decided to leave without wasting another dollar on them. I have to start out with saying I really hate giving bad reviews as I know I'm hindering someone's business, but I'm doing this in hopes that they will see this an properly train their technicians. I just got the WORST SNS manicure of my life. Not only did it take her 2 HOURS to complete but this is what I ended up with. (See photo) Not every nail is jacked up (as you can see if you look at photo nail on the left looks ok but the one on the right is one of the ones she kept trying to fix) but 3 out of the 10 and after 2 hours I just wanted to run for the hills!!! Oh and the cherry on top was when she blamed her bad manicure on the color I chose. She said the white was the reason it didn't come out well (I called other nail studios to confirm this as I wasn't sure maybe she was telling the truth, and NO they said the color white does not make a difference) On a positive note the same technician gave me a lovely pedicure so I think she was just not properly trained in SNS. AND IF SHE REALLY THOUGHT THE WHITE WAS GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE SHE SHOULD HAVE SAID SO PRIOR or IF SHE WAS NOT SAVVY IN SNS SHE SHOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED I GET A GEL OR REGULAR MANICURE.. just sayin' read more

I hate hate hate giving poor reviews, but this is one experience that I can't shake. As a first time customer I called to make an appointment and they were kind and made space for me at a convenient time. I waited a little while before being seen for a dip manicure. I did have dip on that needed to be removed, then put back on which I had explained over the phone. Even though they had a wall display full of dip powder, the women were at a total loss with what to do for my nails. Again, totally standard dip that I have had done dozens of times before by other salons - and from their reaction at initially looking at my nails, I should have left right then and there. What followed is a totally insane 3 hour process. They wanted my nails to soak for a ridiculous amount of time so I asked to be squeezed in for a pedicure which they kindly accommodated (no issues there). The tech who did my nails just clearly had no clue what she was doing when it came to dip. I don't want to get too detailed and by the time I left everything was fine, but it was very obvious that dip is not something the salon techs are proficient with. I also am not sure that this place is as clean as it could or should be from just looking around the salon for 3 hours. At one point I was directed to sit at a manicure station, and I pointed out a BIG live scorpion on the ground at the foot of the chair. The tech literally scoffed at me like I was a dumb girl afraid of a spider (although my reaction would probably be the same). She kind of squished it with her sandle, the thing is STILL ALIVE and she tells me to sit again. I'm not about to do that, so she grabs a manicure towel, picks up the live scorpion, and puts it in the dirty towel bin ‍ I mean. It was just a lot. read more

The nail techs are nice and speak pretty good English. But she kept trying to talk me out of regular acrylic to get gel nails instead which were $10 more and also not what I wanted.. She seemed very thorough with my manicure because it took her over an hour.. except after I left and rand a few errands I noticed there were lots of bubbles in my nails and how uneven they are and my nails are separating from the false nail she glued on on 2 nails! I've never had this happen even with "cheaper" places.. don't think I'll be going back.. but going back to get them fixed for now.. Updated... I went back and she fixed it for me. I called at 9am this morning and made an appt for today. I wanted to get in as soon as possible. They said they could only do one service at 3pm. I conceded even though I wanted to get in earlier because we are headed to the Princess tonight. I immediately texted my friend about the 3pm appt and that I would pick up right after. When I got to the salon, they indicated my appt was at 4pm. I explained I would not have done that and that even 3pm was late because we wanted to get to the Princess as soon as possible.
