The employees were helpful which is notable given that it would have been easy to be miserable given the intense humidity that weekend. He needs to learn respect and when I tried to get my money back, ($116) the kind front desk lady was willing but the rude manager refused to make up for his actions. Hi Family and I had a amazing time here. It was between this location and the location just down the street across the road on the left-hand side. We chose this location because there was hardly anybody here. The other location looked very crowded and we didn't want to spend money on an hour pass just standing in lines. When we arrived, we walked up to the little hut, paid our money and went on our way. We kept going from tractor tractor track that was about 6 o'clock. There was hardly anybody there during the entire time we were there. I did pick up by 7:30 8 o'clock. The staff was beyond amazing a lot of teenage boys, but they were all very polite. I am plus size and I do carry a lot upstairs as well. I was able to fit in all the straps and the carts, but I could not bend over to buckle my seatbelt, which is located in between my legs. And a fun manner. I basically told the boys just get in there and get it back old. They were a little nervous at first, but they did what I asked them to do without hesitation after that. There was one gentleman who was working one of the tracks who is awesome and I hope he goes places in his life. For my family of four it was a little over $100. We had a coupon for each of our passes. They also give a military discount which was the same as the coupon that we found on the Internet. We stayed for the entire hour. I was visiting town for my 2y/o's birthday. This is the best small scale, kid friendly amusement park! I only got to experience one family go-kart track because I arrived one hour before closing but my baby had a GRAND time! She is 2 years old and 2'5 and she met all requirements to ride in the go karts on the family tracks as a passenger. The pricing is also reasonable! I would recommend anyone of a family trip or outing to visit here with your kiddos! The staff is super nice which is a major plus! Will be back when we return to ocean city read more

We did have a great time here. There were plenty of tracks to choose from and there was even a couple tracks my little man could do. It is pricey so I would recommend going on Friday when they have tickets for 5 dollars. It was very clean and the go-karts are in good shape. The only drawback is the price. We ended up dropping over 150 bucks in an hour and a half. But we also had 3 kids riding. The races themselves aren't that long. But I would say it was worth the price. You get what you pay for and this place was much better than other tracks in the area. read more

This was a fun place. We came for the go carts, and it was fun. It was in the evening so it was cooler and comfotable. It was a bit pricy but it's also a unique experience. It wasn't terrible. Came with the family here and we had a blast, there were no line and the place was clean with friendly staff. We enjoyed several races and would go back again. Don't think this place could get any better! We just walked in and only spent $5 for the batting cages. My boyfriend had two rounds of fast and really fast speeds. I even had a chance to hit the balls too! I did the slow round since I've never done it before! We had a blast and only spent $5. As a New Yorker - this is an absolute steal! I loved it. We took advantage of the $5 Friday season special, we discovered was available, THANKS to the helpful staff member at the ticket booth. Our family chose to do something else besides the boardwalk and we were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, it was EXCITING & FUN!!! Got there before the crowds = small lines, almost no wait time. There were a couple rides (bumper boats & rock wall) that was closed due to limited staff, par for the times, need workers. For the most part, things seemed clean. Hand sanitizer stations available throughout. The available bats & helmets at the batting cages have seen better days, but made the best out of it. My experience at Grand Prix Amusements was interesting to say the least. As I was registering to race, one of the workers, Shawn, approaches me and tells me that because my hair is long, I won't be able to race. He explained that my hair could get caught on something and I could potentially be scalped. When I asked if I could secure my hair with a head tie, he said no because they take no risks with safety precautions. This was completely understandable at first. It's important to note that my hair is in knotless braids and goes down to my lower back. I can safely secure it in a multitude of ways. However I was told that because of this I could not race. The other people in my party could race, so I got a chance to read the rules on hair which state: "long hair must be tied above the shoulder & tucked into the head sock." Another rule states: "driver assumes all responsibility and liability for his/her actions while participating. Including damage to equipment and injury of other patrons." So to my understanding I should have been able to race as long as my hair could be safely tied and tucked into the helmet. Especially given that another young lady with straight European hair that came down to the middle of her back was allowed to race without having to put her hair up or tuck it into the head sock of the helmet. Not to mention that in case of injury I would assume responsibility, according to the rules which participants acknowledge and agree to before racing. So I did not race. And I did not enjoy my experience or treatment. I also didn't enjoy witnessing Shawn make an exception for the other lady with long hair immediately after informing me otherwise. I don't think this takes away from the experience at this establishment. However I was not even granted the opportunity to experience, hence my rating and review. read more

Batting cages are ok. Rest of rides are expensive. No shade anywhere for kids. We interacted with 3 staff members. One was helpful, two were not. Overall we wouldn't go back unless just for the batting cages.. We're local, this place is probably more for tourists. read more

What an awesome racing amusement park! On our vacation in oceancity this we are a family that enjoys parks and racing. We needed something that our older 2 tweens and 2 year old twins could do. There are so many tracks to choose from stock cars to bumper boats to family race tracks. We all had a blast and it was a lot cheaper than a full amusement park. The twins rode for free with us on the family tracks!The kids couldn't stop smiling. We went inside for some arcade games and snacks that were also reasonably priced without spending a fortune. Racism is what made it most unenjoyable for us, its unfortunate we didn't pick up on it before we purchased 2hr wristbands. 4-5 go kart tracks. the karts were somewhat limited in power so there really isn't much of a racing component because they lack the power to accelerate. They plateau in speed and you're following everyone else around. and if you're a fat ass like me (200+ lbs) you're at a substantial disadvantage. 7 bucks a ticket. 1 ticket gets you 3 minutes on the go kart track. the price point is way high in my opinion. even if you buy a pack of 4 tickets (which saves you 3 bucks) you still spent 25 bucks for 6 minutes of fun for 2 people. the employees seem really unmotivated. its like they wished they could be anywhere but there. couldnt even answer basic questions the concept though is fun (bunch of go kart tracks, climbing wall, batting cage) and it wasn't crowded at all even on memorial day weekend. read more

Despite the mixed reviews on Yelp, we had a great time at the Grand Prix. Initially the batting cages weren't all working. Once I told the staff, they quickly fixed them and gave me extra time - which I badly needed. Otherwise no problems. We rode all the go kart rides across all ages as we ranged from 7 - grown folks. This place was a lot of fun for me and my friends. We love go kart racing and every summer we try to go check out a new place. This place has a great deal for 2 hours you have unlimited access to the whole park for $38. I suggest you head online or show a coupon book which offers an additional $3 off wristbands. This place has a mini arcade with shooter games, ski ball, basketball hoop game, pinballs etc. They also have batting cages, bouncing rooms, and a short rock climbing wall. We rode many of the go karts and most of them were very fast and well kept. The people who work here were very nice, there was one rude child customer who kept refusing to leave his seat (in the water bumper ride) after the ride was over and kept spraying water on the worker. However the guy kept his cool no mater how many times the child sprayed him directly in the face. He just laughed it off with a smile! The people here are very nice and I had a lot of fun in the 2 hours I spent dashing through the tracks. My favorite one was the grand prix track. This park has several go kart tracks, a batting cage, a rock wall, bumper boats, a big giant slide, an arcade, and a snack bar. This park is clean and neat. Lots of fun. My family and I stopped in today and had fun driving the go-karts. We went on the Grand Prix track and the super cyclone track. Both fun. Cyclone had faster cars but Grand Prix track was harder. The only problem I had was the 3 minute race time. Kinda short for $7 a person. We only got in three laps on the Grand Prix track. ZERO STARS! Uneducated, ignorant, cocky manager! AFTER purchasing a 2hr unlimited wristband he then tells us my nephew can't get on any ride but 3 little kiddie rides! Then he wouldn't give us a refund since my nephew couldn't get on ANY RIDE because his 12th bday is tomorrow! My nephew is way beyond the height limit! That manager was a PRICK from the minute we approached him to speak to him like educated adults. He kept telling us we can go to another go kart place down the street! He was causing a bigger scene then just simply getting his supervisor to either give us a refund or swapping the band to me who is over 12 yrs old and over height limit. At the end he gave us the refund for all 4 of us and we got free rides! Cocky son of a gun, that's what that manager is, must of gotten picked on as a young child and now he has a LITTLE bit of power and thinks he has the right to come at people like he is all that. First I have the lady at the ticket booth gives me smart remarks all because I was trying to figure out the best option money wise for my family of 6 and then laughs at me. So needless to say I ended up spending 200$ which I ended up with left over tickets I didn't even use. What a waste!! Then I ride one of the go Karts (As a passenger) and get yelled at from an employee for my phone being out when I was not even the driver!! They have like 3 employees running all 10 rides! We get in line for the slide being its the ONLY ride my 3 year old can get on then he proceeds to say hold up let me check your height. I said I've already done that or I wouldn't be in line and he rolls his eyes and says who do you think your getting smart with?!? What professionalism ! Then afterwards again the same employee comes over to let my 6 year old daughter on the kiddie track. She accidentally crashes being she is 6 and flips out. He says what?????? Are you kidding me??? I have spent way too much at this place to be treated this way and ripped off! Do not ever give this place your patronage I know I will not!
