Paid a fraction of the price for a decent outer wash. $12 at shell hands free car wash would not get you nearly as clean as what $12 can get you here. The extra scrub down before entering the car wash is the game changer! I had a bunch of bugs splattered across the entire front of my car and I don't think they would've came off if it weren't for the pre-scrub. I tipped the two gentlemen who did the pre-scrub. This is a simple exterior wash. I would suggest bringing a towel or microfiber cloth to wipe down your car afterward because your car goes through the big vacuum at the end pretty quickly.

The line with cash/card takes you to a window where your transaction is completed by an employee and the card only line is a self service kiosk. Both lines move very quick! You have two options: $10 standard wash or $15 premium wash. I went for the standard wash since I didn't need anything fancy! Just need to get some dead bugs and bird poop off my car. The whole experience from check-in to check-out was less than 8 minutes! I felt that the dryers at the end of the car wash are exceptional. No streaks left behind and my car was basically fully dry. I was even able to roll my windows down within 5 minutes of leaving with no water streaks! It was a little tough exiting the car wash since the tunnel releases you right onto the Main Street (San Pablo Ave). A bit bummed that they don't offer vacuums to use or a vacuuming service but it's okay! If you're looking for just a quick wash, this is the place to go!

I went this Saturday, First off, they were out of wax and have stopped offering certain services (RIP to the quality since the cutie left, honestly). After a one-hour wait, I finally got my car back and had to remind them to spray the good-smelling stuff. They did--barely. Then the real nightmare started... The next day, my car smelled HORRIBLE. Like skunk meets spoiled milk. Absolutely disgusting. And no, there's no food in my car, and my kids weren't even in it for days. So this stench? Not me. I have a strong suspicion it's the mats--maybe they're using filthy water or dirty rags, and the smell just rubbed in. Whatever it is, it's burned into my soul because this is not the standard I pay for or expect. Bottom line: Save yourself the headache (and air fresheners). This was my last visit.

The gas station was clean and bright and overall I think was fine - I do think its a better idea to pay .34/gallon for Chevron - especially if its a car your going to keep for a while.

The vacuum was FINE; I saw some other folks complaining about the strength of the suction and it worked pretty well for me. The place feels RUN DOWN and the vending machine didn't release the item I wanted. There was no apparent staff on site, so I guess I'm out $2? I know it's only $2 but the bigger thing was that I didn't get to clean the interior of the car in the ways I was wanting to, so basically coming here to accomplish 50% of what I set out to do kind of wasted my time. I didn't do an exterior wash, mostly because it felt pretty run down and I was cranky that I set aside time to clean the car and then I couldn't.
